Cecilia’s Kitchen is now a small part of the complex, and just a takeout counter. The building is mostly Diner’s Original Bulalo now, because I think of the demand in the area, especially during the weekends when it feels like the whole Metro Manila goes up to Tagaytay. We were supposed to dine in the other branch of Diner’s near the intersection, but the place was full so we tried this branch just a few meters away. Parking wasn’t difficult because people come and go. Covid-19 protocals were in place. The overall ambience wasn’t too appealing. Maybe because of the lighting that seemed ill-suited for the place (it was rather dim, like trying hard to have the Balay Dako ambience at night). I would have appreciated brighter yellow lamps or spot lights than the sad chandeliers that didn’t match the building’s interiors. The menu is pretty straightforward, usual Filipino food choices of beef, pork, chicken, seafood and vegetables. In front it says: “Masarap Lahat”. Of course we ordered the original bulalo. Soup was good, with generous servings of meat and bone marrow. Soup’s refillable. Order didn’t take too long, and the wait staff got everything we requested. Overall, good enough to satisfy hungry Tagaytay road trippers.

Very accommodating and friendly staff. It is also a safe place as they really observe health protocols. Delicious food! I so love the savory broth of their original bulalo! Sadly, wasn’t able to take a pic. Anyway, all dishes were good. Plus, you can get a very nice view of the taal lake. I highly recommend this amazing restaurant!

The food are a bit pricey but it's really really delicious. Plus you can feel the wind breeze while looking down on beautiful scenery with their large windows.

The volcano view was great but unfortunately, when I ordered a canton bihon it was soaked in cooking oil. So, I have to return it and have it replaced. Wasn't able to eat it though, so I took it home instead

Bulalo is at simplest. Just plain beef, string beans and cabbage. Then there's crispy tawilis and creamy pork sisig. View is great. Service is fast.

Go to place in tagatay. The best pa din ang bulalo and sisig. First time trying kare kare, bit expensive but probably one of the best kare kare I've tried ! Love the view. Sadly they don't allow pets there.

I super loved the ambiance here and the staff. They were so accommodating and friendly when we arrived, they welcomed us with a smile. Foods were so good and I really enjoyed it while watching the Taal Volcano view. We will dine there again!

5 star for the food. Generous servings, delicious and reasonably priced. They're specialty, Bulalo is served in a warmer, came with a good helping of meat and some vegetables (corn would have been nice too). The broth is refillable. Minus one star because of the poor lighting. We went there for dinner and the lighting in the dining hall gave the place a gloomy feel. Plus it was a strain to the eyes. It's probably better to dine during the day, especially since the place has a good view of Taal. It would also have been better if they put a mark on the items on the menu that are not available for the day. We had to change our orders a couple of times because what we wanted to eat wasn't available then. Overall an okay place to dine and enjoy hot bowl of beef broth and cool weather.

Good food with a excellent overview of Taal Volcano but still pricy.

The price of their food is very expensive. For the taste, nothing's special. For the bulalo, tinipid ang ingredients sa price na around P750. Sa Kanin, very sticky almost lugaw na. The only thing I like about the place is that they have a nice view of the volcano 🙁

The original Bulalo place where they used to have nipa huts. Still the best bulalo of Tagaytay. One of several branches. This one is open only from Friday to Sunday.

The food is fine. But i feel it’s a bit pricy compared to other restos in the area that serve almost similar menu. The grilled squid is overcooked, making it a bit bitter and rubbery; the pork sinigang is too sour for our liking - as if they have poured an oversize pack of flavoring mix; the fresh lumpia is yummy - the veggies are nicely cooked and seasoned; the pork BBQ is very good too. The place is well lit and ventilated. It is however inaccessible for wheelchairs and for those who have weak knees.

Their al freso dining area is so bright at night. The food did not disappoint. For first timers, you Must try: 1. Sinigang na baboy 2. Beef bulalo 3. Pork sisig 4. Lechon kawali 5. Chicken wings This is the place to be for families traveling with their pets ❤️

We tried waiting for our order for 1 hour. We can't wait more than that so we left hungry. It wasn't like this before but I'm really disappointed today.

One of the best seafood/ginger soups I had with clams. Food in general tasted very fresh and well made. The ambience it’s self is fine but with an awesome view. Very nice and relaxed experience. Would be 5 star but staff was slow and didn’t listen properly.

So disappointed with their Bulalo. The meat was rubbery. We only ate 1/4 because we were afraid we'd lose a tooth or hurt our jaw. The service, food presentation and restaurant view were very good. Too bad their Bulalo did not meet our expectations. At 650 pesos per order and a total bill of 1k,we were hoping for a decent meal.

They have glass windows so you have an awesome view while dining. The Bulalo’s serving is big but I find it salty. The pinakbet was nice, the serving is good for sharing. If you’re in a diet or needs customization, like less salt or no extenders, unfortunately they can’t do it for you since all their dishes are already pre packed.

The best buko pie, lots of young coconut meat, not too sweet, consistent quality. Fantastic dishes, too. Bulalo, fried Tawilis, Sisig. Free coffee! Delicious coffee.

Just ate at this restaurant right now. The food was top tier. The waiters were also super friendly. The food kinda took a little bit of time, and the drinks came in first. But overall, everything was going good. They served us some good sizzling sisig, and some golden tofu. And to top it all off, they found a creative way to heat up the original bulalo. They also had a nice view of the Taal volcano. Even though it was a tad bit far. Overall, my experience was quite good.
