Place was cozy and the food was good. But more importantly, the five stars was for the hospitable and very accomodating staff.

Whenever I've come to visit and leave Tagaytay, there's no other place than Papa Prito that can satisfy my food cravings. And also, as you enjoy your food, you will feel good and relaxed with the rooftop views. The crews were energetic and attentive to our needs.

Papa Prito is your pit stop as you enter and leave Tagaytay especially if your traveling Tagaytay on a tight budget. From the name "Prito" all food served here is fried. They came out with a Lenten special available available today Bangus Sisig. Would be nice to see this becoming part of thier regular menu.. cheers and enjoy

Good food at an affordable price! Also the view of the Taal and the nice breeze makes the place appealling. The place is near the rotonda on the right just before you take your route to Calamaba rd. The place has parking space and we were greeted by the staff the moment we went in. We ordered tapang bangus, tapang taal, porkchop and chicken all for 108 with unli fried rice and sunny side up eggs (which I prefer to be well-done but they made every eggs well-done (5/5) my dad didnt like a well done egg, too bad) and gising gising for veggies. I really liked the smoked bangus; it perfectly complements the fried rice. Gising gising is also a good match, i was not familiar with that food but if i could describe it, its like a spicy chopseuy. The crew gave us soup (legit bulalo soup gahf it was so tasty), and our unli fried rice even before we asked for it. One thing that really bothered me is the narrow spiral staircase to get to the second floor. Overall, we had a nice brunch at the place. Cool and breezy.

Very nice place! A little more touch and it would be better. And if only roads, will be developed and widened for 4wheelers, im sure a lot of families will go there and enjoy esp the young ones

A very affordable and barkada-friendly place with a view of the Taal Volcano on the side! Meals are super affordable and are mostly homecooked fried meals (starting from 150) and also offers unli garlic rice. They have super friendly and fast staff as well who are ready to assist you. They have I think a total of three floors, the topmost floor has the view of Taal, and they have a basement with a secret karaoke room. Parking wise, they share parking spaces with next door establishments; so most of the patrons here usually come in motorcycles or literally walk in. Stairs inside might be a bit challenging for old people and children. Overall, still a good place if you want cheap homecooked fastfood and some chill drinking session. Definitely one of the underrated spots in Tagaytay.

We ordered a takeout last night, all I can say is that the food is appetizing. We'll likely order again next time.

Food taste good, the hot chocolate is good though we would have wanted it piping hit, must be the cold weather. Servings are just right for the price, which is one of the most affordable considering the location

We got the crispy tawilis, bulalo, chili garlic shrimp and chocolate. Hot choco is really good and the shrimp too. But shrimp is definitely not fresh. Bulalo is bland and the tawilis is not that crispy. The 2nd floor is also hard to access due to a very narrow circular stairway. Price is not on par with the food quality.

Ate here last Monday to try their Tapang Taal which I have been missing a lot and since Google Map includes this restaurant as serving Tapang Taal and as also included in their menu. To my dismay, their tapa is not really Tapang Taal in taste and has no resemblance even in appearance and color with the original tapa which is made and sold in the town market of Taal, Batangas. I know this for sure because I am from Taal and the original Tapang Taal is very delicious, having tasted it since my childhood days. Papa Prito should stop using Tapang Taal label as they are only destroying the reputation of Tapan Taal as those who will taste the tapa in their restaurant will have a wrong impression of the original and true Tapang Taal.

Waited for an hour just to follow up in the kitchen that our order was not placed.. we did follow up a couple of time and stated that it was already being prepared. Also the place is small, crowded and unsanitized.

Cheap food but super low quality. Threw it away. I don’t approve of sticking extremely low quality food into my body. I was forced to order food panda as there was only 3 places open and curfew.
