Stayed last March 15 and was surprised by the pleasantly serene environment. Room was squeaky clean, bathroom looked brand new! Bed foam was just right. Customer service never failed our expectations. Will book over and over again. PS Loved the coffee with the free breakfast and I just wish it was refillable. Room was very clean and smelt brand new.

Rooms are okay for just staying. There is a church so you can attend the weekend mass. The WIFI is slow though. Location-wise, it is a bit far and difficult to locate at first. There is a pool, hopefully, in the future, it can be heated, too cold. 🥶

Rooms are ok, clean. Front desk - there was a male employee who was being sarcastic over the phone. Disappointing. Female staff were nice though. Other staff were nice. Door keys were not working during our entire stay. We had to call the front desk, usually the rude guy would answer the phone. Food is ok, but slow. We waited for more than 30 minutes for breakfast. Good though they allow outside food to be brought in. Security guards are very nice. Price - room is cheap but charges everything. make sure to itemize.

When we got to the hotel- we were welcomed with complimentary drinks and delicious pancit bihon. Accommodated at once by the ladies at the front desk, most of the staff were friendly and has a ready smile to welcome guests. We enjoyed the wonderful view, clean room and bathroom. Also enjoyed the food via room service. Would like to give a commendation and thanks to Ms Danica (front desk) for her immediate and kind response in securing the cellphone of my mother which was left in our room a day after we checked out. Only waited for 30 mins for her return call to inform me that the housekeeping crew found the phone. Maraming salamat po! ✨

It was a great short free staycation and I’ve ever been privileged enough to stay at Via Appia Tagaytay! My kids had fun swimming in their semi-indoor kid-friendly depth pool, but it would be very helpful if I could suggest to make the area around or near the pool dry or add some more non-slip matting for people to walk on especially the children, though there are signages to warn everyone about the safety risk. Their customer service is a big plus! Every staff member we encountered, from the Security Officer who will help you carry your luggage to the Front Office Associate and to the housekeeping staff were delightful and eager to help. The hotel is clean and has a beautiful atmosphere inside and outside.

Although a bit far from Tagaytay main road, this place offers a serene place to stay and relax. The facade is well kept and it has a mini chapel too. Rooms: We booked for a twin bedroom and the pillows are the comfiest ones i have ever encountered so far. My friend even checked which brand it is. Although, they still have an opportunity to better improve the ventilation so as to avoid the musty smell of the room and the bathroom. Breakfast: Normally served at 7am. But we requested ours to be served at around 6am. It was adequate and okay. Staff: Overall friendly and accommodating. We arrived late and it was raining; They rolled out their green carpet for us. It was fun and kind gesture. Others: There's a fountain outside the hotel too. Although I saw one goldfish that i think is sick. :( Overall: Good value for money

Rooms were big and nice. But the 1st room they gave smells like molds. Don't think they used it a lot. Despite opening the windows and doors with a strong winds entering the room, the smell didn't go away. Had to transfer to another room. Location is isolated so you do need a car to get around. The chapel across the hotel was quaint. Good for weddings and other events

We spent two nights here and I must say that everything was excellent. As for the room it was excellent and surprisingly comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others. ☺️❤️

The place is super relaxing, though a bit far from the Tagaytay main road. They have a mini chapel inside which is nice. ⛪️ And they also have a mini italian restaurant inside (check photos for the menu). Their rooms was so-so, but the bed is superrrr comfy 😴 Also, medyo malamok lang sa gabi so better to put off lotion if you'll stay downstairs (around the reception area). 😬

We went ar Via Appia Tagaytay last Holy Week and my kids and I enjoyed so much. We were suprised with picturesque views, the weather is still cold especially at night (freezing cold) even it’s already summer. They have playroom, covered heated swimming pool (provided w towels different from your accommodation just ask their staff) , a beautiful chapel, cafe and resto w/ aesthetic ambience and relaxing room serviced massage to wrap up our day (I suggest to sched it at night before you sleep) , cheerful staff. We’ll surely come back again.

I really love the ambience of the place. It feels very European. If you want stay at a quiet hotel that's not along the busy Tagaytay-Nasugbu hi-way, then this is the place for you. The rooms are ok, though the one that we stayed in doesn't have a mini-refrigirator. The pool is heated and the kids loved it. I just hope that someday their chapel will hold a mass every Sunday.

Pros: new place, clean rooms, photogenic, friendly staff, Cons: wifi keeps dropping, no cable - just youtube and Netflix. Noise from the band from the can spill into the room, If you can skip this place, I suggest you do. It's not bad but just meh. There are other boutique hotels with the same price point with better experience.

"Hidden Gem of Tagaytay" If you are looking for an Italian-inspired hotel, Via Appia Tagaytay is the best choice. I have never been in a hotel with such a good ambiance and services as it has. This hotel is beyond its star rating; it is indeed a gem hidden behind Tagaytay yet rising silently and soon to be known. All staff are friendly and very accommodating. Kudos to the front office associates, waiters, and room attendants. Thank you for all your service and for assisting with all my requests. Their food is very delicious, and the service is great. I highly recommend this hotel to my relatives and friends. Their value for money is fair enough for a couple and family looking for an enjoyable and calm staycation. I will make sure to come back to see and experience the beauty of a mixed Filipino and Italian tradition.

This hotel is superb. It may not be your typical 5 star hotel but for the price it is really underpriced. The food is good, staff are really friendly and accommodating, and the environment is really a sight to behold. You won't regret staying here. Did I already say that the staff are awesome? Well it deserves more praise.

One of nicest hotels I've been at in the Philippines. Pool is good. Location is a far from the Volcano views but a nice quiet place. Bed and linen are very nice. AC and TV work well. Bathroom is nice and clean but need air freshener like most bathrooms here. Internet is good but cut out a few times making it hard to work. No chair in room but the the stool is better than nothing. Not ideal if you have to work online.

I’d like to express my disappointment with this hotel. I booked a room for Christmas eve. This was booked several weeks before on Agoda so I was able to get their average price. Two weeks before they Christmas eve, they cancelled the reservation saying they could not accommodate. Apparently, they were “fully booked”. Even so, I had booked and paid several weeks ago. I checked on Agoda to see if it’s true and surprise... surprise.... they still have available rooms for the same date. The only difference is that the price has tripled. What a joke! As consumers we should bring these typed so things to light.

My recent experience at the Via Appia Hotel was extremely disappointing. From the moment I checked in, it was clear that this was not going to be a pleasant stay. Upon entering my room, I was shocked to find a dirty bathroom. There were hairs on the toilet, and a foul odor that lingered throughout the entire room. It was evident that the room had not been properly cleaned before my arrival, which is completely unacceptable for a hotel of this caliber. To make matters worse, the service at the hotel was abysmal. The front desk staff were unhelpful, showing no interest in addressing my concerns or rectifying the situation. It seemed as though they were understaffed and overwhelmed, resulting in a severe lack of attentiveness towards guests. Furthermore, I was shocked to discover that I was being charged for a lost key card. This was despite the fact that the front desk had never informed me that I would be responsible for paying for a replacement. It felt like an unnecessary and unfair additional charge, especially considering the numerous other issues I encountered during my stay. Overall, my experience at the Via Appia Hotel was nothing short of a nightmare. The dirty bathroom, terrible service, understaffed environment, and unexpected charges left me feeling unsatisfied and frustrated. I would strongly advise against staying at this hotel if you value cleanliness, customer service, and fairness.

This is a good place for our Strat Planning. Superb staff, very accommodating and super mababait. The only thing that bothers me about this place is its unreliable internet. This is good if you are with your family so could spend time together but not for corporate people meeting places.

We love the place! If you really want to feel the vibe of Tagaytay, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this Hotel! I also love the FOOD here (breakfast with side buffet!) This hotel is a must to stay!

It's the 2nd time that I booked this hotel and will book again this December. It's a very nice hotel and very affordable. The Staff are very approachable and helpful. The rooms are clean. Foods in the cafe are all delicious but my favorite is the turon with macapuno super yummy! We also loved the massage service.

Special thanks to Via Appia Tagaytay. Great hotel/service - very accommodating staff, clean room, delicious food, pool for kids. My big family enjoyed their first hotel experience. The only comment I mentioned to the staff upon checking out was the cold pool water. I was told that they are already working on adding a heater. Despite the cold water though, the kids still enjoyed it. 😉

Exceptional Place to Stay We really love this Beautiful serene Italy Vibe place. The place is clean and the Staffs are friendly. This place recently opened last December 2021. If you want to have a peaceful and serene rest from your hectic work schedule, this hotel is the perfect place for you. And we’ll surely go back to this place :)

Room is okay for its rate, we are just unfortunate that we got the back facing view with no balcony. Also there's a rooster within the property that's non-stop crowing so we had a disturbed sleep. Kudos though to all the staff, they were very friendly.

The hotel was open last Dec 2021 they said. For a hotel running for 6 months I think they still need to improve a lot. They have complimentary water and snacks when you get in your room. They dont have refrigerator so when we bought cake we just put it in front of the aircon for it not to spoil. The shower head fell while my daughter was taking a bath. A good thing was my daughter did not get hurt. We reported it to the front desk and the maintenance staff arrived immediately. The sink was also dripping so they gave us mats. We also experience water interruption for 2 hours before we check out. To compensate for the delays they say we can check out a hour late and gave us complimentary food.

I had a great time at Via Appia. My room has the best view. I woke up seeing the foggy weather of Tagaytay. The Filipino food tastes good. It's worth thr price. There's a live entertainment when we went there. I also enjoyed the cold swimming pool. The game room can still be improved. Maybe they can have a gym in the future.

Stayed at Via Appia twice already (Jan 2022 Feb 2022) and my friends and I had an excellent stay both times! Amazing location (so nearby great restos and attractions!) minus the city noise. Staff were all courteous and accommodating. Rooms are always so clean. A must-stay at Tags for sure!

We enjoyed our 2-night stay here. Wifi connection’s stable, my son never had a problem the whole time he was online for class. Staff were generally polite. Special mention to the front desk staff (sorry I forgot to get your name), she made everything easy for us considering we arrived quite late at night. The only thing I think they really need to improve on is the food service. Medyo matagal lang (breakfast), otherwise, everything else is great! Definitely coming back here.

Lots needs to be improved on. Using cheap coffee, soap, and not so much facilities. Although the place is new and it can be a good potential venue

Helpful, courteous staff. Wheelchair ramp at the entrance + elevator makes accessibility easier. PWD parking slot available too. A full size wheelchair was provided which was more comfortable than our compact travel wheelchair. Clean cozy rooms. Very good for its price range. Nice acoustic night dinner!!!

Had an amazing stay with my family. Staff were all accommodating, helpful and welcoming! Amenities are new and clean - loved the palace-like look of the hotel which my kids were really amazed of. Loved the ambiance! ❤️👍🏻👌

2nd time to visit Via Appia. I really love how relaxing and peaceful this place is. This time we booked a Family suite. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, food is good but we’re waiting for them to have a breakfast buffet😁😁. We love everything about this hotel and we will definitely visit again. ☺️
