If you're looking for an escape in the city or even a digital detox then this is your place to be. No TV, no WiFi just you and your loved ones bonding. A very peaceful and relaxing place. The road going to the place (as of this writing) is a mixed rough road and paved road, better to ride a van or suv. Food are reasonably priced and good. There's a corkage fee for bringing food and drinks from outside though. Breakfast taste is great though not ample enough (for me hehe). Place is still developing, I'm sure it will look great in the future. For the room we stayed in the Family Villa, not quite sure though why one room is on the top and two rooms are below with no connecting whatsoever (in short it's not one family house or villa with many rooms) so we feel separated as family. Pool is very clean and nice. Nothing much to see yet but the developing areas and land. ATV is quite nice and parts with challege.

We've traveled extensively, and this hotel is hands down one of the best we've ever stayed at. The seamless check-in process, the spacious and luxurious rooms, and the incredible dining options made our stay truly remarkable. Great place; very clean rooms; I would recommend to go there using an SUV. As of writing, there's an approximately 15 meter section of the brgy road about 400 meters from the place that is too rough for cars with low ground clearance. Staff was really helpful and was able to assist us in finding a "safe" parking spot and in finding a tricycle to get us to the place. Overall, place, staff, location and food were really great!

Getting there was a bit challenging because of the ascending, rough road. However, you will be greeted by warm smiles of the staff, so polite and helpful. The space is big and efficient. Lots of greeneries, great view of the mountains. There are insects and bugs which is common given that the area is in the mountains but the rooms are well covered in huge glass and has screen door. The food is great! Parking space is near the twin villa. It's nice when the parking space is not that far. Pool is nice. We definitely recommend this place.

I and my family stayed for a night, we took the Family Villa. I rated it 4 due to some aspects, first the road going there is a bit of struggle, but we managed to go through it, however since we saw the place we forgot about how the road was. 2nd I said that I will be celebrating a birthday, and was told that a birthday banner will be provided, nothing was there when we checked in until check out. Over all, the rooms are clean, not having a wifi is good for the family to really have time and not be on the phone, at least the signal to use data is good. The staffs are accommodating though we feel that they are a short staffed. Thanks for all your services during the stay. But will be good if the staff knows the information about the ATV and other stuffs being asked, (you are losing sales on that) and we are losing a memorable stuff to do during the stay. The foods were delicious as well. Good thing that they remind you of what to bring before check in. 😊

I'd give a 4.5 rating. The stay was nice. Service was great despite being short-staffed. My only issue was my room was situated underneath the restaurant so I can hear the chairs and tables being dragged around. Everything else was nice and great though.

Had an overnight stay and booked a Twin Villa for a family of 5. The place was great! You have to schedule a time for using the pool and state your preferred time to have breakfast, lunch, and dinner so that they can prepare the meals. They seem a bit short-staffed, but every need and request was attended to. There's not so much to do yet aside from swimming and the ATV. There's also no WiFi available, but that contributes to the place being a sanctuary. The views were breathtaking as well, at least from our villa! Overall, our stay was great, and am looking forward to going back around April or May. On our overnight trip, the best experience ever was their tapa!! It was like no other ❤️

We enjoy our stay here in New Year's eve 2023.% Definitely recommended. There food is very delicious too. Recommended the Roast Beef, Pansit and Sisig. Very accommodating staff and presentable.

The resort overall is ok. There isnt much to do except to take a swim or rent an ATV. I recommend this place for couples if you want that kinda secluded and quiet place. Best are the staff and we highly enjoyed our dinner. The breakfast, particularly their fried bangus is average though.

Great value for money. Very quiet and relaxing place. The staffs are very accommodating and always attentive and helpful. The room is clean, we requested iced cubes in 12midnight 😅 they provide it right away. Hopefully we can visit again soon ♥️ I recommend to everyone to visit The Sanctuary Batulao. Our recent stay at the Sanctuary was marked by excellent service. Belle was really responsive, courteous and friendly, and so was Kuya Mando. We stayed in the bunker and in the bahay kubo. Both rooms were very clean. We would stay again. Warning - there is a rough road leading to the property so advise bringing an SUV if you can. another warning, the resort has no Wifi but the globe signal was good.

Excellent place to spend a weekend vacation at, great atmosphere and view. The food and service are amazing as well, the employees were very accommodating and friendly. Roast beef 10/10. Will definitely come back.

Love the overall ambience, the signal though in the Bunker room tends to get slow or none at all unless you step out of the room. The staff and the food is amazing. We will definitely go back!

The rooms were clean and the staffs were nice and very accommodating. We rode a van going to the Sanctuary and path was a little narrow but passable.

Just a perfect getaway from my busy life. The place is ideally peaceful and very quiet. Staffs made sure that all your needs are met. They made sure that our stay would be as pleasant as possible. Just stayed for the weekend to unwind and recharge.

we could not sleep. An inconsiderate party was going on till after midnight. Before midnight I went out in my pyjana to find the manager but this group called organic intelligence just dont care.

Such a great place to just rest and take a breather from city proper. The staff were so accomodating and very easy to speak with. The food was really good especially the Baraso de Mercedes and the Buffalo wings and their tartare sauce that comes with the sandwiches and fries. The serving size was bigger that I thought. Overall just had a good time. I also do want to say that they don't have WiFi which for me isn't a bad thing because it allowed for me to detox myself from the internet world. Globe signal is good their though in case as well that WiFi is needed data signals were good enough for me tl have class. Small nitpicks though. It would have been nice if their offered toiletries. If their pool as also heated since the weather was cold the pool was really cold. And I really do wish the roads going their would be more cemented next time. Definitely would come back to that place as a resting zone.

Room was ok. It was quite difficult to navigate in because floor space was a bit small. Service and staff were really nice and friendly. Location was really nice and secluded with great views.

Place is new, clean and very serene. Food was delicious and reasonably priced. Staff were very nice and accomodating. Nothing much to do except taking a dip in the small pool. Safety protocols were properly observed. Use of pool is pre-scheduled and there is a time limit per room to avoid over crowding in the pool area.

We enjoyed our stay. The kids loved the pool and the jacuzzi. The food is superb, ambiance is quiet and homey. Fresh air from the mountains of Batulao. The staffs are courteous and attentive to our needs.

The place is very relaxing and really a good thing na by schedule yung pag gamit ng pool to avoid crowding. You just have to bring a lot of patience because food is served later than scheduled. But it may be because of few staff during our visit. But it is a must hehe.
