Out of all the Hotels we’ve stayed in through the years, THIS IS THE WORST EVER. FAIL CUSTOMER SERVICE. WORST FRONTDESK STAFF. FAIL BREAKFAST. This hotel isn’t cheap, because we’ve checked-in to a cheaper hotels too and yet, their customer service is great. They will attend to your requests and needs. BUT THIS HOTEL? They will really make you feel na they don’t care talaga. I think that this is the management’s fault. They should train and let their staff attend seminar on how to attend to guests. They are in the hospitality business after all. Or piliin nila yung staff nila. Ang babastos, I swear. Listing down here all the stressed I have encountered since day 1: 1. Upon check-in, the front isn’t happy to assist us at all. She just gave me the room key card. So I asked if someone will be assisting us, she answered “We only have 1 housekeeping tonight”. Whaaaattt? They don’t have a separate staff for guest assitance???? Walang balak si ate na patulungan kami. ❌❌❌ 2.Front desk (Same FO nag check in kami) asked me to send a copy of our ID to their Viber number. So I did. But no one replied or acknowledged. I even expressed my frustration with this, they still didn’t answer. Seen zone 100% level. Galit na guest, huwala sila pakielam. ❌❌❌ 3. Breakfast is super important to us. That’s why when I book a hotel, I make sure that it has a breakfast included. But this hotel thinks that they are only giving a free meal to their guests so No effort needed. I am super disappointed. Few serving. Their free drink, walang lasa at all. And the size of the drink is like for kids lang. We requested for a service water, linagay lang sa mesa and no baso included hanggang matapos kami kumain. Diretso inom kami sa pitcher.❌❌❌ 4. We left our key card sa table during breakfast. Yung server sa restaurant, sinurrender daw agad sa front desk. Si frontdesk hindi man lang kami pinahabol to give our key card. Yung level ng pagka bossy nung mga tao sa front desk 100% din. They don’t smile at all. It is as if they are not happy with their job. We stayed 3 days, we haven’t seen from the front desk smiled at us upon entering the front entrance. Unlike sa other hotels, sa guard palang full smile na. Lahat mag greet. Dito, waley. 5. We went back around 9pm na coming from Enchanted Kingdom. We bought cup noodles nalang because we were so tired na. We called customer service and asked for a utensils. They answered us “Sarado na po restaurant “. Diba????? Eh ano ngayon kung sarado ma, naghihiram lang kami ng utensils. So I nagged at them hard, dun palang sila nagbigay ng disposable na spoon and fork. ❌❌❌ 6. My baby is supposed to swim sa pool that’s why we booked this hotel, but the pool watet is malabo. It isn’t treated well. We know because we manage private pool villas. Pool water smells bad too. Hindi kami ma reklamo or maarte. Sabi ko nga, nakapag stay na kami sa mas cheaper pa na hotel. But this hotel has the worst hotel staff (Frontdesk & Restaurant). Hindi sila happy sa trabaho nila. If you want to relax, do not stay here. Ma stress ka sakanila lang.

Worst hotel service we experienced. Upon entering the room there was a bad smell. We had to open the door to air out the room. The bed sheets smelled bad too. The bathroom sink had a strand of hair on it. The bidet was leaking and we had to call someone to fix it. Calling for room service was difficult. We had to call more than once since they don’t answer. We called for room service to have breakfast in our room but they forwarded us to the restaurant and afterwards they hung up and never followed up. We had to walk to the restaurant and have our breakfast there. We ordered their cornsilog and the serving was so small. It was literally one small spoonful of corned beef. We asked if they could give us a bigger serving, they came back with more and it was really cold, as if it came from the refrigerator. It tasted like it was not fully cooked. The pool doesn’t look clean. The water is foggy. The jacuzzi wasn’t warm. The location is the only good thing about this place since it’s near all the restaurants. Overall very terrible experience and awful service. Wasn’t really expecting much, but they had one job and could not do it.

While the location is perfect as it is close to many restaurants and parks, the service and the room were quite disappointing- 1) the unbearable odor of the bathroom drainage is inexcusable not to mention it’s flooding when in use 2) no available utensils in the room 3) the room has a musty smell 4) the headboard looks unclean and has a foul smell. I hope the management would do something about this. Thank you.

Location: 5/5 The location of this establishment was excellent and felt like home. While there was no view of Taal Lake, there were plenty of opportunities to take in the beautiful scenery during the tour. Rooms: 5/5 The rooms were comfortable and had a homey, yet elegant feel. Service: 3.5/5 The service was good, but there is room for improvement in terms of the level of hospitality offered. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. I'd definitely revisit.

My friends and I stayed in a two premium family room for two nights and had a very bad experience. Rooms stinks badly, the floor is randomly wet for some reason, house keeping is not helpful at all. And the worst part is definitely the ladies at the reception. Who is never been helpful during our stay. I'm not expecting world class service from this hotel but it exceeds my dissapointment. I would not recommend this to anyone who wants to have a relaxing vacation or a good weekend trip. Glad that my friends and I bond is greater than any bad hotel experience and we did eventually had fun.

The receptionists are very welcoming. The hotel provided free face shields and face masks. For me, it's the small things that count, though. There are lots of things they need to address: that very narrow walkway leading to the courtyard and pool area; no coffee-sugar-creamer when we got to the hotel room (Room 112); aircon ventilation smelled like damp clothing; TV was not set up for cable or even internet; no bathrobes; It just wasn't a pleasant experience having to dial 0 every time.

This is an Honest Review of my stay in this hotel… The Good: - hotel location is good since its by the main road and walking distance(although not near) to Ayala Serin Mall. - hotel looks fairly new, and design is a bit modern with a log cabin look. - room comes with free set breakfast, and is served as DEKADA restaurant by the hotel. - ample parking space infront of the hotel and by the side. - swimming pool is kid friendly and clean. - lobby guard was very polite and helpful. The Bad: -the receptionists manning the front desk was not polite and welcoming. Front desk people should be smiling and should be attentive to the needs of the guests. I arrived early around a few minutes past 12noon. And i politely asked if early checkin was possible. They said it was not, and told me that checkin time is at 2pm. Of course i know that. But was just taking my chances of getting a room if possibleso i returned by 1:30pm and saw a queue already of people checking in. So i approached the reception and was told that i should queue up since there is a list for people checking in. What? Why didn’t they inform me that when i arrived by 12noon? So i should be number one on the list. That time they were not doing anything and was just chit chatting with one another. Instead of turning me away, they shoild have just taken my info and let me fill up the checkin forms and then just later give me the key to my room when it is already available. That should have saved a lot of time that asking the people checking in to fill up the forms later. My goodness! - they gave us room 206. Which was ok until it rained. The ceiling had a leak and it was dripping hard by our bedside. So i called the reception and told them about it. They sent the maintenance guy to check. And then i found out that he knew already about the leak. So why they did not fixed it before making the room available for the guest. So if it didn’t rain its ok? Guest will not notice it anyway. Thats is not good hotel service. So they transferred us to a different room afterwards. Good thing the room attendants was very helpful to us during the transfer. Kudos! - the floor on the shower easily gets full of water from the shower. This is probably due to some problem with the floor drain. So a few minutes into your bath you will feel like you’re in the swimming pool!😅 - the aircon remote control has a faulty display. Very difficult to know what the current temperature it is currently. - during checkin, we were asked of our choices for the breakfast and the time it will be served. So we chose beef tapa and daing and asked to served the food in our room at 10am. So the next day came and it was already 10:05am and still no food. I called the reception and asked and then she transferred me to the restaurant. So i asked them where is our food. He asked for our room number. I gave it to him and then he told me that there was no reservation for our room. It turned our that they were not informed by the reception that they we had a room change due to the ceiling leakage. So when i told him of our previous room number, he told me that somebody delivered our food by 10am but there was no answer. So i asked them to just deliver it now to our current room. And then he old me that the bangus is no longer available! Really? You just had it delivered by 10am and by 10:05 its gone? No more stocks apparently in the kitchen. Oh wow! So very good coordination between the reception and the restaurant 👏🏼 By the way, the food was bland. Hindi masarap! - the room has a mini bar with cups, free bottled water, spoon and fork. But NO free coffee, sugar and cream. - the bed feels soggy and old. As well as the pillows, but good thing they provided 4 pieces and an extra inside the closet. - you can hear inside the room the noise of the people walking by the hallway. Overall, it was not a bad staycation. We enjoyed the pool during the night before it closed down at 8pm. But if you ask me if i will come back to this hotel? The answer is NO.

Overall, a good place to stay and wind down with your family. Kids can play billiards and use the gym. The swimming pool is nice and the heated jacuzzi is a welcome. Rooms rates are a bit pricey though. Likewise, walking to nearby establishments can be a challenge because vehicles along the highway move at high speeds. You have to be extra careful to be safe.

Stayed 4 nights here. Staff was extremely polite but only “apologized” for the many problems/concerns we experienced, instead of resolving them. A few of the challenges we experienced: room full of black mold, no hot water, unable to flush toilets, chaotic ordering process for the “free” breakfast served the next day, internet virtually nonexistent, and 24hr parties at the pool.

Over-all, the rainy season service of this hotel was nót really accomodating and not worth to try again. Most likely wont consider even during summer.

The hotel does not appear good at first sight, but do not be fooled. This hotel is a very good hotel, if you are going to see the Taal Volcano. The pool is kind of small, which is one of my only dislikes. The other one is that there is no view of the volcano itself, you have to drive to a nearby restaurant which does have a view of the volcano. Otherwise, this hotel is exceedingly good for a holiday in Tagaytay.

Nice hotel in Tagaytay. 10 min walk from the city center. They have a huge pool with a jacuzzi. The family deluxe room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was ok even though it wasn’t a buffet. You have to pre order your meaI. I really prefer breakfast buffet. The Wi-Fi in this hotel is SO BAD! Especially in the room the signal was terrible! We are now living in 2023 and stil has a Wi-Fi from like early 2000. C’mon please upgrade your Wi-Fi!!!

We had an event here at the Royale Parc Hotel Tagaytay, and I was thoroughly impressed with the impeccable service and stunning views. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that every detail was taken care of, making it a truly unforgettable experience. I can't wait to return for the next event.

ITS THE WORST HOTEL EVER. so embarrassed for asking friends to go to tagaytay and stay here. SUPER DIRTY, smell bad, breakfast taste like trash Everything is dirty: room, hotel public area, table, chair, fork, spoon,…

For the price of this hotel, you get subpar service. No laundry options, room attempts to look rustic but really to cover up outdated amenities, but what kills me is the fact that they refused to give my husband and I two key cards. Seriously. You can’t make it up. I never thought I would ever complain about the fact that I am only allowed one key card… I travel often and this has never happen to me. When asked why this was a policy, they couldn’t give me a reason. Save your money and go to a lower end hotel overlooking Taal, or (what we should have done) spent a little more for basic amenities.

I got to say kudos to this place communication staffs. I booked this when I was still in the US through Agoda and there were a lot of unforeseen events that I had to adjust my stay. Nikka was very helpful on helping me do the adjustments because Agoda’s support is NOT very helpful. I am putting Royal Parc Hotel as one of the hotels to book directly instead of 3rd party booking sites. What I like about this place besides from communication: - The place has a cafe and restaurant and a spa! - the room is clean and a good size. There are complementary drinks and snacks inside the room - available fresh cucumber lemon water at the lobby - kuya guards making sure your car is safe The reason why the 4 stars because: - slow to respond at requests at night. - the jacuzzi was turned off when I went for a dip. I asked for it to be turned on from one of the staffs but it was never turned on until the cut-off time on the pool - they need a better parking spot like a covered one because I was parked on a side street on the side of the hotel

The Worst hotel experien in my life. I am very disappointed in philippines also. I left my T-shirt at the hotel, so I comtacted with them in 10 minutes. They said they didn't have it. Who's going to take it??? Tshrits going to disaapear by itself???? What a magical hotel it is.. Also, we only got one card key to the room used by three persons. So I requested an additional card key and they charged 300 pesos per card. I thought It was deposit. They didn’t mention anything about that. So When I checked out, I requested refund for additional card key. But then, they said that adding a card key is non-refundable;; I should have brought it. They selling the card key for souvenir..what a nice it is..

Newly remodeled hotel with a homey and rustic vibe. Amenities include a swimming pool and communal jacuzzi. Our room was clean and in order. We were pleased to know that it has a smart TV along with free wifi. Bathroom was spacious, clean and tastefully designed. Adding to our peace of mind were the smoke alarm, fire sprinklers on the ceiling and the card door lock. Room service was very responsive and the staff was very courteous and accommodating.

Affordable and clean rooms. Best for family especially when you plan just to stay in the hotel. The location does not offer a good view of Tagaytay and is not very much accessible to public transportation but their indoor modern architecture is nice.

1-night stay on 4/10/2022-4/11/2022. Room 107. It has a faint bad smell. My husband sprayed cologne when we got in so that the air will be better. AC wasn't turned on yet when we entered the room, maybe that added to the smell. The plush pillows, yuck (see photo)!!! We stowed them away during our stay. They looked dirty and smells! Ugghhh! Bidet is very dirty (see photo). Restroom walls have visible dirt, which can easily be removed if the cleaning staff do not only use rugs but also scrub a little. Hot water wasn't running, and there was no visual instruction how to turn on the water heater. Were guests supposed to know how to operate every model of water heater? Plus, it should have been turned on already before we went in. Had to call the reception and a maintenance staff came, pushed or pulled something and it's on. Receptionist doesn't smile very much. Lobby guards were very helpful, polite and assistive. Restaurant staff were polite and assistive, as well. Other staff, I had no encounter. Location is very accessible. It is along the highway. Parking is available. 6 slots at the front, 6 slots at the side, about 5 more at the road beside the hotel, which leads to another (bigger) parking area. Maybe more than 10 cars ca fit in there. It isn't concrete but the ground has gravel (I think). Sorry for not having photos of the parking spaces. Summary: I'm not staying again at this hotel. There are better ones in the area.

Rude receptionist. Obviously a liar because she argued that she didn’t see the customer violate a “rule” that is not even written then on the front desk, suddenly said she charged them JUST SO she can charge us too. Not recommended. 👎👎👎

It's a small new hotel along Tagaytay road. Rooms are very clean and spacious. Value for money.

  • 1/5 rojo 2 years ago on Google
The staff by the pool and in the restaurant were accommodating. However, morning receptionist was extremely rude. Charged us extra for a “rule” that is not at all written, said we should already know about it. Scolded us like she owned the place. Rooms smelled so bad because of the aircon; had to ultimately turn it off and just open the windows. There is a lingering feet smell maybe due to headboard cushion. Wifi was very poor and they cut it 6 hours early before we left. Not coming back again.

Value for your money. Wide selection of rooms with spacious bed, they also offer room delivery for breakfasts. Great customer service. They have clean pool, fair gym, a bit small billiard table and darts as well. The floor is open 24/7, pool is open until 8 pm, last call for f&b is at 7:30 pm.
