The location was good! The staff is very friendly.Cleanliness was disgusting, bed bugs in bed! The room looks old. The toilet was okay but the shower room was dirty and moulds are all over the shower. The view was beautiful. The Spa was smelly, we went for a massage the room was noisy from the aircon. Honestly they need to upgrade this hotel cleanliness is very important so that guests will feel comfortable. I do not reccomend this place to stay at all if your staying there for more than one night. I have travel around the world this hotel is one on my top lists disgusting hotel.

The hotel was quite okay for an overnight stay. The location is convenient and along the highway. It is just a walking distance to sky ranch and other shops or restaurants. The hotel lobby looks somehow grand. The room was rundown and lacks maintenance. Seriously, I was quite disappointing. It was so noisy that I could really hear the traffic and the conversation on the next door. It lacks sound proofing. The TV doesn't have any channels or cable. The toilet had some water stains and the bidet handle was about to come off the wall. There was only one dispenser for shower gel and shampoo so I need to manually alternate it. Unbelievable! First time that I came across something like this in a hotel. I was disappointed with some of hotel staffs. We parked the car in front of the hotel lobby. I saw 4 staffs standing there. As any other hotels, supposedly they will help us with our luggage but they were standing and chitchatting. They lack initiative and work ethics. When we entered, that was the only time they offered to take our luggage. Another one was the receptionist, I requested for an early check in but failed due to fully booked the night prior to our arrival. I understand that it was full but at least give us some alternatives for any first available rooms. We were the only one in the lobby waiting. The breakfast was amazing. I highly commend the staff in the coffee station. He really asked and made the coffee according to the preference of the client. I didn't manage to get your name but you were a remarkable staff. You have initiative and great staff. keep it up! Definitely, I won't be staying here again but I will eat in the hotel café again.

Location/view: Superb Rooms: Old, not well maintained. No kettle, broken fridge. Don't expect a 4 star quality. Maintainance/Room Service: Very accomodating and helpful. Front Desk: Seems like they don't know what they're doing. Always going around in circles. (Might be OJT's) Pool: Doesn't look good as shown in the picture.

My family recently stayed at Summit Ridge Tagaytay and found it to be a good option for a hotel conveniently located in the city center. Although the rooms were a bit getting old and had just basic amenities, the highlight of my stay was the breathtaking view of Taal Lake that I could enjoy from my room. It was simply a majestic sight to wake up to each morning. Additionally, I appreciated the hotel's swimming pool and gym facilities which allowed me to relax and workout during my stay. I also loved the fact that there was a Robinsons supermarket, Starbucks, and several restaurants all within walking distance, giving me plenty of options for dining and shopping. If you're someone who values prime location and stunning views as much as I do, I would highly recommend Summit Ridge Tagaytay.

I visited here last week with my family. The hotel is convenient and wazable so you don’t have to worry going here. The hotel is nice and good and it is pet friendly. The price of it is very affordable for everyone especially for students. I highly recommend this hotel to stay this summer.

Accessible location from other commercial establishments and restaurants. Ample parking. Courteous and polite staff. Big guestrooms. Wifi is available. Generous breakfast buffet. Swimming pool. Good view of the Taal lake from the scenic elevator and balconies in the upper levels. West view features the sunset.

Hotel room was really run down and no black out curtains.there are also small stains on the sheets. Sound proofing issues also. I could hear upstairs shifting furniture and people cheering in the middle of the night from a building outside. Service was good and very fast as we asked for a technician to help us adjust fridge temperature and heat up our food. It was nice to have a lake view in all rooms.

One-of-a-kind view of Taal Volcano ! Wall of windows out to a balcony. I never tired of that view for the week we were there. Restaurant was awesome, a little pricey but good stuff. Robinson's Mall (out doors) has nice grocery store, money exchange, Giliagan's (great rice!), and more. The iconic Sky Ranch amusement park is quaint by US standards, but still a fun, cultural delight. The pool was closed, so that was a bummer.

The SUMMIT RIDGE TAGAYTAY HOTEL is a five-star hotel for me because it's very convenient in all aspects. It can serve several events that will suggest by the guess and that was an extraordinary service. Additionally, the people who work in this hotel, especially Mr. Jose Mari who welcome us today, are the people in the front office and also at the back. The location has good weather and I love the style of the hotel, starting from the main door until the last room. Aside from the structure of the hotel, very alive and colorful, relaxing in the eyes of the guests, and especially the attitude and warm welcome from the manager and staff of the hotel. I writing tho review to help other people who are looking for a hotel who can avail and visit, I highly recommend the summit ridge hotel in Tagaytay. This hotel deserved a five-star rating, I know there no will be a perfect hotel, but I know and I feel that this hotel and the team within this try their full best to give outstanding service and make the guest happy and satisfied. And that this hotel makes unique and beautiful. And thank you for reading my review I hope you open your heart to summit ridge hotel Tagaytay.

The place is nice! Great view, you can feel the cool breeze of air, watch the green lush of trees and the voices of birds and insects at night. I love the design of the rooms. The foods are also delicious! I love this place!

The lobby looks good but the rooms look a bit old and unmaintained. The inside of the rooms are also not cleaned well. Some corners still have a lot of dust and dirt, especially in the bathroom. The sheets and towels look old, but they smell clean. The noise is also a problem since we can easily hear the other room if they have a loud voice. Kudos to the staff as they are very attentive and hospitable. The location was almost perfect as it has a very nice view of the Taal on the balcony, but due to the one way traffic scheme on the weekends, it took us a lot of time to get to the hotel since we needed to go a long way around.

I booked through agoda, requested for early check in and higher floor. When we arrived, after filling out forms, we were advised to wait as the room is being prepared. 2pm came and no one was still coming back if the room was ready yet all other guests immediately got their room. My partner approached the front desk to follow up and that's the only time we were advised that the room was ready. We got to the room and the bed was defective, missing one leg. We called the front desk and showed the bed that they mentioned they prepared and of course all other observations we have. We requested to be transferred and we were right away assisted. The new room was better and the view was really amazing. If not for the service we experienced, the vacation would have been perfect.

We recently enjoyed a 2-day getaway at Summit Ridge Hotel and found its location to be a definite highlight. With easy access to nearby leisure parks and restaurants, it's a convenient hub for exploring the area. The proximity to Taal Lake and volcano adds to its charm, offering stunning views and a refreshing breeze during the night and early mornings. While the spacious room was ideal for couples, we did encounter a few downsides. The walls seemed a tad thin, as noise from neighboring rooms was noticeable at times. Additionally, the room appeared to have aged a bit, with some dustiness present. The service also left us wanting, as it tended to be on the slower side. Our experience with the breakfast buffet, unfortunately, didn't meet expectations. The taste was disappointingly bland, and it didn't live up to the anticipated flavors. In summary, Summit Ridge Hotel offers a convenient location for those seeking to explore nearby attractions like Taal Lake and volcano. However, the room's condition and noise levels, along with the underwhelming breakfast, detracted from an otherwise pleasant stay.

Summit Ridge has a very good location, however the hotel needs serious maintenance. We checked in at 7pm, however our rooms were not ready. We had to switch one of the rooms to a twin deluxe room which is a downgrade from the room we booked. Also the rooms were dirty, moldy and smelled musty. They really need to deep clean and air out the rooms. It was also noisy during the night, but that's to be expected as the hotel is in front of a major road. However their staff was friendly and excellent. Breakfast was great too.

This is a long review. We checked in a suite room for Christmas 2021. I will start with the good. The staff is very courteous and accommodating. The hotel sits on top of the hill which overlooks the Taal volcano and lake, a breathtaking view. The hotel is just next to a mini mall and Robinson’s grocery which is very convenient for food and shopping. Nice restaurants are also within walking distance. The hotel restaurant is not great but is quite nice and the servers are very accommodating. Now with the bad. The food in the restaurant is mediocre to okay. The hotel is dilapidated (ok that may be too much), but you can see that the hotel is not well maintained and has lots of wear and tear. The elevators have some weird sound, some tiles in the hallways move and creak. The rooms are okay (my sister-in-law checked in another room), the surface is clean but old dirt is obvious. The same goes for the bathrooms. The doors to the balcony gets stuck at times and does not shut properly. You can hear the howling wind and noisy vehicles outside and if you’re not used to such noise you won’t sleep well. The balcony railings are rusted and you can see a lot of rust and wear and tear of the overhang beams. The room service is also mediocre but perhaps they are understaffed for the holidays. We requested our room to be cleaned and we waited all day but nobody came (but this was on Christmas day.) You can’t expect much for the price. What is disappointing is that the hotel is owned by the Gokongwei’s who also owns Cebu Pacific Airlines and other big businesses like Robinson’s Department Stores and Universal Robina Corporation and in my opinion, should have been kept well. Overall this is a fairly decent hotel but don’t expect much. We were just glad that we had a place to stay for Christmas in Tagaytay. The hotel manager is very nice and accommodating and the staff tried their best but perhaps they were just understaffed.

Check in service (1 out of 5): We have made a reservation 2 weeks prior the check-in date and we booked 3 rooms and the hotel customer representative confirmed the senior citizen discount on all 3 rooms even if there are only 2 senior citizens that will check in the hotel. However, once we got there on the check in date, only 2 rooms were applied with the discount. We had to go through a series of negotiation just to have the rebate cause we were already charged without the agreed discount. Breakfast Buffet Service (1/5): While we were already having our breakfast. A hotel staff approached us to sign on a form charging us already for extra 2 persons. Instead of confirming first with the table how many rooms are in the table, their initial approach is to charge us already, so of course we has to ask why they were charging us already only then they found out that 3 rooms are having their breakfast so technically all of us are included in their free breakfast. All I'm saying is their approach should change as they are already accusing their customers of a fault rather than investigating first what transpired. Room quality (3/5): It's very basic for a hotel to have lighting fixtures fixed and in their proper places but some of their lightings are hanging out of their sockets which makes you feel that their hotel is lacking the supreme quality that it should be bringing. Gym Facilities (1/5): Their hotel is under renovation and with that, their gym is totally closed. Other hotels provide a temporary facility outside their hotel to still meet the expectations of their customer. Rather than doing that, they compromised their service and just let their customer be upset. Overall (1/5)

Conveniently located along the main highway, this 9-story hotel offers wonderful views of the lake, surrounding mountains & has easy access to the Robinsons Mall. Upon arrival, the lobby looks clean & spacious. Bellhop was friendly but did not offer help with luggage. Reception had one person attending the front desk and though there was only one guest in front of us check-in took 18 minutes. As in any other hotel, a deposit is required to cover incidentals though you have pre-paid the room & I was uncomfortable with them writing down my credit card details on a sheet of paper rather than putting a hold on the card, for identity theft reasons. The hotel has good sized rooms, spacious bathroom but all needs maintenance. The executive desk has watermark stains, toilet sink has a repaired crack that stands out, tiles needs grouting as it is deteriorating, windows & doors have to be replaced with at least double pane to reduce noise level coming from the traffic below which is constant, bed is very firm, pillows are moderate & linens are average. TVs are dated & operated with 2 separate remote controls. Upon turning on, we didn’t get a signal & called maintenance. After a 2 hour of wait, we decided to call reception & it was only then that a technician was sent. Room is equipped with a safe, small fridge & comes with complimentary bottled water, a coffee maker & a water kettle. This place has a lot going for it, location, views, amenities, hospitality of its staff but falls short due to operational management. If management decides to put a little more investment into this property, the hotel has the potential to be a 4-5 star hotel but until then a Php 2,200 per night all inclusive or less is all it’s worthy off.

I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel for a training session in November 2023. The accommodations were excellent, with clean rooms and fresh towels provided daily. The food was also top-notch, with a wide variety of options to choose from. While I only had the chance to use the swimming pool once, it was quite chilly during this time of year. Nevertheless, the staff was incredibly polite and helpful, making my overall experience very positive. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

We stayed here twice already, 1st in June 2022, 2nd time March 2023. Both times we were in the suite. The rooms where a bit old, could use some renovation, but amenities were still great. It was clean, the beds were made properly and fresh. Although, on our 2nd time staying there, there were renovation activities in the reception area. Our stay was still comfortable and would come back here again. :)

If you could give negative stars I would! I had back issues, and used some cream for my back, this put a stain on the sheets. The hotel had called us and said we had forgot something in the room, when the truth was they lied to us just to get us to come back! We went back and they had not even tried to wash the sheets and charged us $2,500 peso's for the used sheets! This is NOT what you do to guests who stay in your hotel! The staff lied and was rude to us,not what should happen for something you pay for!!! We washed the sheets and the stain came out completely!

This is a hotel with poor service, poor facilities, and false pet-friendliness. Trust me, any pet friendly hotel is better than this one. Believe me, this hotel is currently the worst pet-friendly hotel I have ever stayed in. We booked a pet-friendly double room for 6000 plus per night, which is close to 7000p per night, but when we checked in, he temporarily informed us that pets would cost extra even though they charged extra. They pay for pets but they are not friendly to pets at all. They don’t even provide drinking water for pets. We spent nearly 7000p. The lake view room we booked turned out to be a connecting room at the end. The hotel was under construction and close to the road. It was very noisy. The door lock was broken. There was a thick layer of ash in the bathroom. There was no one-time service provided by a star-rated hotel. Toiletries, bed sheets and duvet covers are not new. Only 2 bath towels are provided. The toilet paper is not new and has been used by others. The floor at the door is bulging and it is very difficult to open the door. The TV does not have any channels. When it comes to breakfast, it is very annoying because we have a small dog, so we chose Sitting outside on the lawn there was no service at all and we were not even given napkins and later I found out there were no people around with dogs and they were all served water a range of services only us no cutlery no service water and after we had just finished and were ready to drink coffee When the waiter came over very eagerly to take away our plates and cutlery, I thought they were replacing new cutlery for us, but they did not collect the cutlery. I hope we hotel guests will leave quickly. The buffet feels like a lot of leftover food from the night before. It’s not a new hotel. Except for poor facilities, poor service, poor hygiene, and expensive price, it can’t even compare to the island hotel where I went to surf. For the most honest review, please see the picture.

Our room was spacious with a comfy bed and a terrace with a view on Taal Lake. You can arrange a tour with the front desk. Breakfast buffet is more Filipino-themed with limited options for vegetarians. Located close to Skyranch so the road can get very congested.

This place is totally run down. It is in despatate need of either renovation, or tear down and start over. The vacuums must have broken down since all the floors are filthy dirty. If you go to the gym and do stretches or yoga, bring your own yoga mat since you wouldn't want you body in contact with the debris on the floors.

Situated along Aguinaldo Highway in Tagaytay, it gives you front row views of Taal, especially if you're on the upper floors. The elevator ride for me is an experience always never taken for granted as I always have a panoramic view of Taal lake and volcano. If I had to nitpick, our room door doesn't close automatically, so it's a hassle if you're like me who doesn't check and have to go back to close it. Food is at par with most of what I've had elsewhere. Though with limited equipment, their gym is a nice place to get sore at the end of the day.

Location: very good Service: staff are polite Room: really nice but old. A blackout curtain would be nice. I can hear some noises outside since it is not a closed hallway but an open hallway. Breakfast buffet: Generous and good. Corporate room: Their service water is bad. Not sure if they cleaned up the water dispenser. Meal during dinner is not cooked well.

The place is convenient compared to other hotels, since its beside multiple restaurants, stores and a supermarket so one doesn't need to worry about going hungry there. The suite room we stayed in was average. Also, when we were there, it was pretty foggy so we weren't really able to enjoy the view of the lake from our room. We also had problem with the shower, since the heater was broken. The lock of the bathroom was broken too. Regarding their breakfast buffet, the main meals were mostly terrible because ita either they are bland or dry. None of which are appetizing, making it a dissappointment. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay there, because we enjoyed hanging around the place.

It is such a blast and wonderful experience here in summit ridge hotel. I am looking forward to come here again in the near future. I have learned a lot about exploring my passion thus knowing more about tourism industry. As a tourism student i have come to realization that our industry plays a vital role in our community most especially in our economy. I wish to see more the treasures of summitridge hotel. This is a perfect place for family and friends. Good for leisure and just to chill. Whether alone or with a group this place is perfect for many reasons. Once you get here you will feel the unique ambiance. Also i am surrounded with good and polite staffers. It makes me feel welcome any time of the day. I like the lobby area it is so cozy and bright. Thank you for the short lecture and guidelines. I highly appreciate all the efforts. I feel amazed looking at the view in the balcony. Taal volcano is so beautiful. I get it why a lot of people come here over again. Thank you for the good and kind accommodation. I feel comfortable roaming around. The pool area is stunning i like its shape. Im with my friends and they told me they would like to come again for leisure. I see to it that the botel management is following the health protocols so i have no more worries about the covid. But also az a guess we have to follow some rules. I'd like to bring my family here next time and i wish to stay longer to enjoy the city lights at night and spectacular view of tall volcano. I swear to come here again. Thank you so much summit ridge hotel may you continue your quality service to more people.

Always been the go too hotel in tagaytay. When i heard that this hotel is pet friendly...yes, PET FRIENDLY!...i did not hessitate to book the suite room. My family, my gf and especially my dog Frau (pug) had a great time even if it was just an overnight. Food was great...just need additional chairs or perhaps use on of the board rooms if expected to have a full booked stay. The hotel is just adjacent to a Robinsons mini mall. Over all...great stay...kudos to the staff esp for the GM sir JM Ouano for the assiting my family needs especially their premium service for senior citizens and PWDs. Always bee returning to this place

The only good thing about this hotel is the location. Lobby looks good but the rest of the hotel are old and poorly maintained. Rooms are worn out. Linens are dirty (my towels had filth!!!). Breakfast was bad (poor assortment, mediocre to poor taste, sometimes unhygienic). My husband and I weren’t able to sleep due to the outside noise (soundproofing is close to zero) and the curtain’s poor blocking of light. For the price, the hotel seems like a scam.. many cheaper hotels in Tagaytay can provide far better value

We booked earlier two bedrooms which is i have kids so i asked connectivity and they agree. When we arrived we found out its not available so they gave us 4rth floor for my kids and 5th floor for us of my partner. We amazed the lobby the staffs looks elegant. But we're talking about the bedroom they're bedsheet is so wet and smelled! So they transfer us to another bedroom. Lack of maintenance. Guys you need to think and keep clean your hotel. Just my opinion!

The whole place is quiet, relaxing and will get you in the mood for a walk. The pool is also heated. Would love to go back next time

Despite of the age of this hotel, the management was able to maintain the cleanliness of the exteriors, lobby and hallways. Their rooms are tolerable but somehow really needs some upgrading. The hotel has always been our priority when we visit Tagaytay because of their location and superb customer service.
