This
is
a
long
review.
We
checked
in
a
suite
room
for
Christmas
2021.
I
will
start
with
the
good.
The
staff
is
very
courteous
and
accommodating.
The
hotel
sits
on
top
of
the
hill
which
overlooks
the
Taal
volcano
and
lake,
a
breathtaking
view.
The
hotel
is
just
next
to
a
mini
mall
and
Robinson’s
grocery
which
is
very
convenient
for
food
and
shopping.
Nice
restaurants
are
also
within
walking
distance.
The
hotel
restaurant
is
not
great
but
is
quite
nice
and
the
servers
are
very
accommodating.
Now
with
the
bad.
The
food
in
the
restaurant
is
mediocre
to
okay.
The
hotel
is
dilapidated
(ok
that
may
be
too
much),
but
you
can
see
that
the
hotel
is
not
well
maintained
and
has
lots
of
wear
and
tear.
The
elevators
have
some
weird
sound,
some
tiles
in
the
hallways
move
and
creak.
The
rooms
are
okay
(my
sister-in-law
checked
in
another
room),
the
surface
is
clean
but
old
dirt
is
obvious.
The
same
goes
for
the
bathrooms.
The
doors
to
the
balcony
gets
stuck
at
times
and
does
not
shut
properly.
You
can
hear
the
howling
wind
and
noisy
vehicles
outside
and
if
you’re
not
used
to
such
noise
you
won’t
sleep
well.
The
balcony
railings
are
rusted
and
you
can
see
a
lot
of
rust
and
wear
and
tear
of
the
overhang
beams.
The
room
service
is
also
mediocre
but
perhaps
they
are
understaffed
for
the
holidays.
We
requested
our
room
to
be
cleaned
and
we
waited
all
day
but
nobody
came
(but
this
was
on
Christmas
day.)
You
can’t
expect
much
for
the
price.
What
is
disappointing
is
that
the
hotel
is
owned
by
the
Gokongwei’s
who
also
owns
Cebu
Pacific
Airlines
and
other
big
businesses
like
Robinson’s
Department
Stores
and
Universal
Robina
Corporation
and
in
my
opinion,
should
have
been
kept
well.
Overall
this
is
a
fairly
decent
hotel
but
don’t
expect
much.
We
were
just
glad
that
we
had
a
place
to
stay
for
Christmas
in
Tagaytay.
The
hotel
manager
is
very
nice
and
accommodating
and
the
staff
tried
their
best
but
perhaps
they
were
just
understaffed.
