This restaurant is very well known for authentic Filipino cuisines. The place is situated on the hillside of tagaytay overlooking the panoramic view of Taal lake. Sometimes you will dine here with the fog all over the place. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The place is clean and well maintained. They have a huge parking space for visitors and guests.

Ambiance is great. Ready your cameras for the splendid view, Taal will surely be smiling behind you. Services are slow despite the 10% service charge. Food tastes regular and pricey

The food was great the atmosphere great, beautiful views of the Ta'al volcanic crater but the service was lacking we had to flag a waiter down to take our order after having been seated for close to a half hour. I'm guessing they were just short staffed (we couldn't see all the waiters from where we were seated). Q!

The food, especially the bulalo is super delicious! We love the ambiance, plus their staff is super accommodating. It's our 3rd time to this restaurant.

It has taal volcano view and it has many photo sopts. The foods in the restaurant are delicious for Korean too! But no air conditional, we were sweating while eating. So many people inside, so waiting time is must.

The panoramic view is 10/10 but the price? Well let's just say that it's expensive, I got a club house. It tastes good but nothing special but the price? Well again expensive, I got a simple gulaman drink and it costs me an arm and a leg. Definitely not for Filipinos on a pinch. Maybe for foreign touristπŸ˜…

This is one of the restaurants that allows kids to dine but only on a specific area. Also, the kids cannot go and see the view at the Al Fresco area. The area has parking which is really good 'coz the restaurant also serve as a reception for weddings and other life events. The one I am particularly reviewing is the Josephine's Restaurant in front of Summit Ridge Tagaytay. Interiors and Ambiance// β€” it was okay. Some chairs are broken and even the high chairs for kids were not clean nor sanitized. But the restaurant is clean, neat and gives you a glimpse of nature. Service// β€” the staff were all attentive. They take note of the needs and even the reminders a customer must remember. Food// β€” the Bulalo was really expensive but bland and the beef is not even tender. The potatoes are not easy to slice as well. The Lechon Kawali was more of Bagnet than Lechon Kawali in terms of texture and way of cooking. The Tawilis was the one that stood out for me as it was well cooked and its not tuyo but Tawilis really. The Chopseuy was tasty and well seasoned as well and the vegetables are well-cooked.

Overall the food was great, the ambiance is relaxing because this is overviewing Taal lake, the only problem we had when raining, there is no enough protection from rain for outdoor diners. Hope then can address this one. But nonetheless, we had so much fun and for sure babalik balikan. The service ia superb 10 stars for me because all of the staffs are accommodating. Thank you Josephine! Babalik kami with family πŸ™

The view is spectacular, located high up in mountain where you can dine and enjoy the view. During pandemic, they have minimized the menu but it is still decent. They follow hygiene rules and policy, as you order the food, they will provide you plates and cutleries covered in wrap. The staff are attentive to their assigned tables. When serving the drinks, they hold it with 3 fingers at the bottom of glass, quite the juggler and balance. Fast service! Also if you book early and dine, there will be a 3-man band playing amd singing music. It is a good place if you wanna get out of the city and chill with your family and friends.

The restaurant itself looks and feels luxurious. The view is awesome, if not blocked by fog. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ For the venue The staff are professional and nice. The guards even proactively offer to share an umbrella from parking to the reception area. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The food is so pleasing to the eyes, that it doesnt require effort to capture them beautifully. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The taste is above average ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sago't gulaman was a bit of a downer by being too watered down. The crushed ice also had chunks. ⭐⭐⭐ Bicol express was the star with a good amount of serving. We still had enough for take out. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ***Careful if you can't handle the spice*** Crispy kangkong was a surprise. With the tempura like batter that gave it a special texture. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The dip complimented the taste well. The pricing was also on the highest ranks with the restaurants that we tried in Tagaytay, but with the venue and amount of staff, it's reasonable. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Will I try Josephine Restaurant again? For anniversaries and business meetings, it's definitely my top choice.

Service was initially slow but they were hosting a wedding reception and a university graduation at the time. A good Seafood Caesar Salad, a very good Strawberry Smoothie and an excellent Absolute Dry Martini was the dinner order.

I used to like this place years ago. Whenever we came up to Tagaytay, this restaurant was always one of our options for food. It was a nice restaurant with good ambience - serene and very relaxing to dine in. That was before. We ate here again, after several years, on the first Sunday of June this year, and we were a little disappointed. It's no longer the relaxing restaurant we knew before. It was packed with people eventhough it was already 3 pm, and it was so noisy that it felt like we were eating in a cafeteria. Frankly, I think they should stop with the singers going table to table to serenade the diners. The noise was already too much, and to add some loud singing, was very unpleasant to the ears. Even the airconditioning wasn't that effective anymore because of the many number of people inside. Add to this, we were shocked with the prices of their food. The bulalo was more than a thousand pesos, and it was good for three persons, or two, if both had the appetite. I mean, I don't mind paying that price, but I would like to eat expensive bulalo in a nice restaurant, not one that is like a canteen. It was good, though, but not really super special. You could get that quality of bulalo in many other restos in Tagaytay at lower prices. We also ordered the fried bangus which was also good, and relatively expensive too. Good thing I can say about the place is that, of course, it still has the amazing view of Taal. It has decent restrooms. Parking was very easy because they have a very big parking lot.

Accessibility: Easily located beside the main highway of Tagaytay ridge for both public and private vehicles. Parking: The restaurant have their own parking space and is ample for customers. We went there on a rainy weekday, so there are a lot of space. Wheelchair accessible. Ambience: Relaxing, classy and spacious, ambient temperature is just right. A little dim lighted. The place was not crowded when we went. A high wall made of glass provides a good view of the scenic Taal Volcano. Unfortunately it was a rainy day, the view is not as clear as a sunny day. Food: The food is great. We ordered Boneless Bangus Sinigang which is served hot with good level of sourness. Baked Tahong, Crispy Kangkong with very good dipping sauce. Seafood Ceasar Salad and fried Chicken. Staff and Service: Waiting time for the food is longer than expected. We ordered for another dish (Shrimp) but they forgot to punch it in our order list, but still we consider the staff attentive to our requests.

Iconic restaurant of Tagaytay. Superb Filipino food. The Friendly staff said that we should come back and enjoy the meals till December as the place will be closed for renovation in Jan 2023. There is also talk that the Josephine brand will be gone once they reopen. If this happens, we will lose an icon of Tagaytay City.

Some foods were okay some were not. We ordered appetizers for us to eat while waiting for the main courses but the main courses were served first until we followed up the appetizers bago dumating. Spectacular view and amazing atmosphere. May mga sockets sila for charging ng laptops and phones. They only have small parking area. May band sila to set up the mood and nakaka de-stress. Pwede mag request ng few songs.

While we were visiting tagaytay we decided to get a bite to eat. We decided to sit outside and it had a wonderful view. I got filipino spaghetti which was really good and she got a soup with pork in it. We also got Halo-Halo that was the hightail of my day. The day we visited they had a band that would come to your table outside and play a song for you

Good place to stay, eat and chill with friends. It was cold when we visit. Also, pet friendly! Hope they offer more coffee soon. Brewed is the only one available when we visit

Apart from the beautiful view of the Taal, I'd like to compliment this restaurant for its excellent customer service and wonderful meal, which is well worth the price! The aura of the restaurant is cozy and the interior design is amazing! If you're looking for a place to eat with your family and friends, this is the place to go! I If I visit Tagaytay again, I will undoubtedly return here.

Great place for dream wedding venue especially this pandemic time which recommends open air venue and intimate setting plus the magnificent view of iconic and historic Taal Volcano.

We ate here last August 25, 2021. Place was clean and the wait for our order was so short! It was served in less than 15 minutes so we are very satisfied. Food here is very delicious, it's a bit expensive but considering the place and the quality of food I think it's worth it.
