Food and drinks are a bit pricey. The ambiance is what you'll be after in visiting here. They have well crafted interior design including their washroom and restroom. Very nice spot to unwind.

If you're in Tagaytay and want to have a new food experience, try Gorio's! They serve hearty dishes that can please even the most discriminating of palates at a bang for your buck price point. We tried a lot of what's in their menu which you can also view here on Google. I'll just mention those dishes that I particularly liked. If you're a fan of salty/sweet pairings and potato chips, go for the Sweet Potato Chips with Caramelized Onion dip! The chips were sliced paper thin and fried crackly crunchy. Next time I go there though, I'm having 1 order all to myself! No sharing! We also tried the Reuben sandwich and Birria Taco. Between the 2, I prefer the Birria because I like spicy food. My friend and I halved the half of the Reuben because it was ginormous! There were generous portions of the corned beef, the sourdough bread was thick and grilled to a crisp. I don't like corned beef that's just all meat, it tends to be dry but Gorio's thankfully had some fat on it so it was moist and flavorful. The beef in the Birria was tender and I'm sure the tortilla they used for the taco shell was made in house. The chili and cilantro sauces complemented the taco along with the concentrated beef soup dip. The chili was spicy good! Birria is like the Mexican cousin of the French dip sandwich. For the main course, oo nag main course pa ako lol I chose the Angus Pares set with garlic rice. They have the option for you to have it with shirataki noodles (for those who are keto or low carb). I've tasted the original Retiro Pares in Retiro. They're both equally awesome but if you want something cooked healthier with less sugar and a more grown up flavor then Gorio's version will deliver that to you. There were spring onions, chopped crispy garlic and calamansi for you to use as toppings for the pares. For dessert we tried the Mango crepes, there were 2 in an order along with some vanilla ice cream. They may have elevated simple recipes but it doesn't come across as pretentious because you could still taste the familiar (mas intense lang nga) and the presentation of the dishes were fun and unintimidating (alam kong pares yun kinakain ko 😅). Try this place before it becomes too crowded with people and kailangan nyo na pumila.

Gorio’s just opened a week ago when we accidentally discovered it. If you are looking for Al Fresco dine in with enough parking space and view of Tagaytay then this is the place to go. Good choices of food and reasonable price.

A very good place to dine, alfresco. Ambiance of Tagaytay weather. We loved the food, very reasonably priced, parking is good. Restroom very clean. A very short distance from Pink Sister ( 6 minute drive) perfect to have breakfast after morning mass. A MUST try now, before it gets crowded.

Prices ranges from 400+, as other establishments around are selling. HOWEVER, this is the most worth it meal that you can spend on. The flavors are spot on for the beef tapa, wagyu pares and longganisa patty, even the simple fries are delicious. I highly recommend this place. The staff are great and kind as well. I heard they'll be serving steaks soon. I really look forward to going there when I come to Tagaytay.

Great place for brunch, with a wide selection of dishes. Alfresco dining but the place has glass doors/walls to protect guests from rain. Coffee is great as well!

Food: Good tasting beef pares. Chicken tenders OK. A bit pricey for the serving sizes. Pwede na. Service: Attentive and friendly staff. Atmosphere: Come here for the cool air of Tagaytay. There's a good view of the lake here. Overall, it's not bad. When you need to recharge and want coffee in a relaxing atmosphere, go here. Definitely will not come back for the food, though.

Chill place away from the usual crowded eating places in Tagaytay. They serve big portions with above average quality. Their pares were exceptional and the service was good. Will definitely come back

Another pet (and kid) friendly spot! It's an open air dining space that kinda reminds you of an outdoor bbq party with large tables and benches. Tried the beef pares with milo dinosaur, bangus belly and the filipino breakfast (not in photo). Serving size is big enough for a full meal and were all tasty. The place gets full for lunch and dinner from what we were told so it was great that we just walked in for breakfast.

I’ve been in PH 3 weeks. This is the best meal I’ve had. Thanks to the recommendation of the taco’s, delicious. I also got the chicken fingers and the sauces were on point 🤤

A nice al fresco setting for breakfast and more. Impressive and extensive menu with many Philippines favorites. Tried the fish tacos and the Vanilla Almond Latte. Both were good with Mahi Mahi fish. Reasonable prices on all items. Off and below the highway so convenient and no noticeable road noise.

The variety on offer in their menu is good and has international flair with it. Taste of food is also good. Parking is great. Don't let kids run about in the vast grass area as they have stray dog/s that leave their "gifts" everywhere. Pet friendly place that attracts upper middle class clientele.

This is my last day in the Philippines. I was very disappointed eating lunch here after buying pasalubong at The Original Buko pie, Tagaytay brunch. We ordered the most expensive on the menu which is the Bulalo, Deluxe Sisig, Barbecue Pork belly and Fried rice good for 3-4 person. The price is less than 2k. We need to wait for the food to be serve. We love the view, the service especially when they just opened the glass doors for the fresh air to flow inside when we want to transfer to another table. They served the foods all hot. The Bulalo was served over a small camping stove. But all the food were old, especially the Bulalo. The bone marrow, is the best when you eat Bulalo, but it tasted like old used oil (maanta) same as the Pork belly. The sisig was just ok I think I like the Mang Inasal much better. I talked to the server and later the chef talk to me. I only talk to him about the Bulalo because that was the only food I tasted first. He told me that it was freshly cooked and I told him, it was not the famous Tagaytay cow the Filipinos' used to. He said it's local, which is mean that he bought it in Tagaytay. Then maybe he said it was burnt freeze . . . so a high-end restaurant is serving food with no quality standards or serving reheated foods to customers. Giving me a free dessert will not ease my disappointment. Actually the Leche plan was tasted old too because it was hard and dark. They served it with ube whipped cream. I'm sorry Mr. Chef or maybe you are the owner too, for the bad ratings. If you remember, you even asked your server to give as another plate of the dessert but we already said no thanks. I hope this incident will not happen again to other families who only wanted to enjoy the foods and the nice place of Tagaytay. P.S. I hope you considered my advice to remove the Bulalo on your menu or much better that you only used fresh and not burnt freeze meat. ***Sorry, I only took one picture because there were other customers around. My stomach don't feel good while writing this review.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Gorio's Roadside Restaurant and I must say, it was an incredible experience. From the moment I stepped in, the staffs were very accommodating, making me feel welcome and comfortable. The ambiance of the place was very relaxing, perfect for a casual dining experience. I ordered the beef pares and it was absolutely delicious. The meat was tender and flavorful, and the dish was well-presented. What's even better was that they allowed my dog to accompany me, something that other restaurants have turned down before. They even gave my furry friend a bowl of water, which was very thoughtful of them. The restaurant also has cute free-roaming pet dogs and puppies, which added to the overall pleasant ambiance of the place. There are also events taking place in front of the restaurant, but it didn't affect the ambiance that much. One thing that impressed me was the ample parking space, which I found safe and convenient. I also appreciate the fact that they offer cashless transactions, as I don't usually carry cash anymore. The only downside was the sinangag bowl, which I found to be subpar. It looked like it was borrowed from a carinderia. However, this minor issue didn't affect my overall dining experience. In summary, I highly recommend Gorio's Roadside Restaurant for their excellent food, relaxing ambiance, accommodating staffs, and pet-friendly environment. The only improvement they could make is to have pictures on their menu. Nonetheless, this restaurant is a great place to dine, and I would definitely visit again.
