Went here for lunch. I ordered tinapa carbonara, pork humba and tawlis. My favorite is the pasta dish. Its creamy and had the right amount of tinapa flakes. Humba is also good and goes very well with steamed rice. Tawilis is just like the other tawilis in Tagaytay.

food is good but not great, there is room for improvement. for example, their chicken is okay but a little dry. tapsi is good, it's on the garlic-y side (if that's your preference) the veggie lasagna is a 10/10!⭐

Twice been here after a short market trip from mahogany, I feel I have been enchanted by this place. The homey ambiance albeit a bit far from the Taal view, is a charm! The food: 4/5, Didnt expect the food here to be that good but it was decent. Priced well, not bad for the portion too. The service: 5/5, genuinely nice and polite staff! A must on your food trip list when you are in Tagaytay. Dont just take my word for it. 😊 Edit: forgive the pictures, I've started eating when I remembered to take the photos! Speaks of how enticing the food were! Edit2: here again! I dont know if I am able to complete a Tagaytay trip without eating here! Edit3: tried ukoy and tinapa rice on my 4th visit! Napa wow na lang ako, grabe ka na Ka Tunying's! Edit4: been here nth time. They dont serve the waiting breads ala biscocho anymore. Sad.

Ka Tunying's, nestled in front of Winds Residences in Tagaytay, is a culinary gem offering a delightful fusion of Filipino-style dishes with their unique twists. Their menu boasts a wide array of delectable choices, with standout options such as the flavorful Adobo rice, tantalizing pork humba, and the mouthwatering sisig, all leaving a lasting impression on our taste buds. The majority of their offerings are a testament to their culinary prowess, showcasing the beauty of Filipino cuisine with a creative edge. Moreover, the restaurant exudes a wonderful ambiance, complemented by an attentive staff, making the dining experience at Ka Tunying's memorable and enjoyable. The huge parking is also notable.

Date: Nov. 26, 2022 Time: 3ish PM The restaurant was just right across from the SMDC Wind Residences, the advice was somewhat lacking given that you're in Tagaytay area, the food is alright my wife & I loved the "Pork Belly Lechon," the kalderetang baka was served cold I was disappointed because this is my favorite Filipino dish, I am blaming the chef for lacking the attention. The rest of the experience is all ok nothing exceptional. Staff: 4 stars Food: 2 stars Ambiance: 3 Stars

Great interiors, courteous and helpful staff... they also gave a complimentary slice of delicious egg pie. Unfortunately, the pork sinigang wasn't good as the meat was tough. The bangus sisig tasted weird. Good for take-out of pastries, but maybe won't eat dine-in again.

The food was really good. One thing I appreciate most was they serve their Bulalo with a food warmer. Included in our menu was kare kare, sisig, and lechon belly and salted egg calamares and 3 platter of garlic rice hehehe. Not far from the place the scenic view of Taal Volcano.

It's was a great place to eat breakfast and dinner. They got the best hot chocolate drink in town and egg pie and cheese macapuno cake. The downside was it's kinda pricey but hey it taste great.

The waiter suggested Pakbet to add to our Bulalo order and yep, it was really good: cooked to perfection. Crunchy fresh vegetables cooked just right. Their bulalo was just right for sharing for two and you can request for bulalo soup refill if ever your soup runs out. As it is a weekday, we did not have any trouble getting a table. Very reasonably priced food. Very happy and courteous staff. There are a couple of spots where you can get a decent IG quality photo. Babalikan? Definitely... πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

I really enjoyed our dinner at Ka Tunying's Tagaytay. I liked their food, very homey taste and their staff were very attentive and special mention to Manong Guard. Also you can see from their menu that their prices are very reasonable. I also like the casual and quirky vibes of their resto. Will surely comeback to try more of their food.

Food in the menu has unique name. We have tried sisig and longganisa burger, sisig is a must try. Pork kare-kare is fine. Spaghetti is sweet filipino style that satisfy kids taste bud. Just need to work out regarding flies and mosquitoes in the restaurant. They have the view of Taal Volcano if you dine outside. Instagrammable place.

The pancit is salty. I ordered sinigang na baboy and i received sinigang na taba ng baboy. 🀣🀣🀣 We didn't finish our dinner due to disappointment. (Half of my rice was not captured on frame) The only thing I enjoyed is the calamansi juice

Nice ambience, friendly staff and amazing food (pork sisig & arroz caldo). Not a huge fan of Mochabayan. Tasted like medicine if I'm brutally honest.
