This restaurant is WONDERFUL! My family went to the restaurant for my birthday and we had an awesome time! The waiter turned out to be the owner. He was smiling the entire time and was ALWAYS on the move! He was such a sweet guy who is extremely welcoming! He did everything possible to make sure our experience was PERFECT! When leaving, we learned more about him. He is personable and really good hearted. SUPPORT A LOCAL BUSINESS AND AN EXTREMELY DELICIOUS RESTAURANT! Thank you so much Ariel!

Had a fantastic experience, first time here. The restaurant was moderately busy and my order came out very quickly. Very flavorful Thai spaghetti with excellent shrimp and pork. I would highly recommend this location, thank you again!!

I ordered through Door Dash so can't say what the ambiance inside is like. The quantity was good for the price. Unfortunately their food was not that good. I ordered the Pad Thai with chicken and it was dry and had no sauce on it. It lacked a lot of flavor. I also tried the spring rolls. Those were good but the sweet and sour sauce was more sour than anything, and no other flavor to describe it. I've had plenty of Thai food in my lifetime but sadly this was not the best. Maybe other items are better.

Always a quick dinner. Half the menu is Chinese so don’t let the Thai in the name stop you from coming. Smaller restaurant with seating for up to 4, maybe 6. I recommend going with the Thai curry.

If it’s cold and rainy in independence Ohio come to Thai Gourmet and have their chicken soup. It’s so uplifting! Coconut milk with lime and pineapple, mushrooms and chicken. I was so surprised at how fabulous it is! Priced at 4 dollars I wanted a tub of it. Calm place to come after a busy work day. Service was so wonderful, food is great and priced right.

Best Thai by a landslide. I have had the Pad Thai noodles level 10 heat and the curry chicken white heat. The Curry chicken was amazing as if it were prepared in a $1000 French restaurant in Paris. The Pad Thai noodles were awesome with just the right amount heat.

I ordered 4 entrees and a side of mixed veggies for delivery. Two of the entrees were fried tofu (general tso’s and sesame). Instead of cubing tofu and frying it like everyone else in the world, they use extremely thin tofu skin, roll it, then cut that into pieces. Then they batter it and fry it soft, soggy, and somehow a little stretchy. We tried to eat it, but… it’s got to be impossible to not imagine intestines while eating these. I mean… look at my pic and it’s even hard not to SEE intestine. The side order of veggies consisted of at least 75% onion, water chestnuts, and bamboo shoots. The remainder was soft carrots, a piece of broccoli, a slice of mushroom, and couple snow pea pods. $35 straight to the trash and we’re left queasy and wanting to throw up.

We were on a trip to Cleveland for a day and since my wife was craving for Thai food we stopped here after a quick search. We were welcomed generously. We ordered chicken szechuan and chicken pad thai. We were tired and hungry after a long drive so we just ordered two entries, ate them fast and were gone. We were the only one dining but people kept coming for pickups. It's probably owned by a family and like all other Thai people i have known were extremely courteous and polite. The food was amazing and the service good. The quantity was good too and our server kept coming to check on us. Please visit this gem of a place folks and show them some love.

I am highly disappointed in portion size. I put my finger in the picture just to show how small this portion is. I can in at 350 to order general TSO lunch (lunch order is supposed to be 9.95). They charged me 14.95 because it took until after 4 to actually place the order. Ok so I don't complain. .. I heard them say that someone cancelled on a general TSo order and I am under the impression that I got that cancelled order as my food tastes is not freshly made, maybe just reheated.... Anyway, I'll never return and if I miss out due to one bad experience that is enough...15bucks wasted.

Ariel makes you feel so comfortable that you want to stay and return over and over. The food is freshly made, not too salty and very flavorful.

Went for lunch. First time ever there. Place wasnt busy as it was a late lunch. I got the Spicy Noodles as I’m normally a Drunken Noodle guy. The food was delicious. The service great. The guy who cooked it even asked how it was. Very attentive and it was even cheaper than going to McDonalds or fast food. Paid like $10 for the lunch meal. 10/10 would reccomend.

Small and cozy Thai restaurant - super friendly and attentive service. We were so exited to get our food we forgot to take photos! Very flexible menu - meat dishes can be made with tofu if desired. Fresh, quality ingredients and packed with flavor.

Rubbery squid and soggy dumplings. I ordered the steam dumplings and the salt and pepper squid. The dumplings were all soggy because they were sitting in the soy sauce that leaked from the container. I was able to salvage 2, but the edges where the dumpling is sealed were hard...probably were frozen, not fresh. The salt and pepper squid tasted nothing like what I've gotten in Vegas or Seattle. The worst part was the squid was old. It was rubbery! I couldn't eat it. The third picture is a picture of all the food in the trash. $16 wasted.

Ariel and his wife are the owners and the most genuine people you will ever meet. My extended family and I have been dining there for at least 10 years. We and EVERYONE I see walking through those doors are always greeted with enthusiasm and treated like family. They don't discriminate. :) Great food, too!

Highly recommend stopping here! The lunch prices are reasonable with a good portion size, and everything I’ve tried has been delicious. The wonton soup is only $4 and I mean it when I say it will rock your world. The customer service is fantastic as well, which always makes me look forward to stopping in. I attached a photo of the chicken and broccoli lunch special, which taught me today that I love bamboo shoots! Eat here, you’ll be glad you did.

Visited for dinner and ordered broccoli chicken with steamed rice. The food was very good and hot and the waiter was very courteous. Ambience was also nice fully recommended if you are in the mood for Thai food.

This place serves great food with love. The Wonton Soup was very authentic. The orange chicken was amazing. The owner is a very funny and engaging man. The restaurant is small and intimate, but the friendly staff makes up for its size.

The worst pad see ew I’ve ever had. There was literally no sauce on it. Just oily and no flavor. So disappointed.😢

Food is good. Servings are good. Ambience is cozy and warm. Loved it. The only issue is that they're clearly under-staffed. At least the night I dined in. I ordered Shrimp Puffs. Loved them. And Pad Sew with Shrimp instead of chicken or beef. It was quite fulfilling but it can use some extra teriyaki sauce, though it had a very yummyafter taste. I love the place, but they can definitely use more helping hands. That would make it really gooooood.

Average priced Thai with a Chinese food menu and a vegetarian section. Must try the rolled tofu. it's on the unique side. Food was way over spiced with peppers, so bring some milk. Pop was on the flatter side. Would consider returning for a second chance. Still search for Great Thai in cleveland.

Saw this place and decided to try it out. Best decision I've made in food in this area. Ordered pad Thai and steamed dumplings. Dumplings were good. The dipping sauce had a nice flavor. The pad Thai was amazing. Egg rich and the shrimp were cooked perfectly and sweet. Best pad Thai I've eaten in Ohio. Will be going back just for this alone, can't wait to try out the rest of the menu

I felt like giving 2 stars just because the food looks good in the pictures here lol. Didn't have a chance to taste their food. Walked in for lunch just to see a dark restaurant, dimmed lights (maybe their electricity bills are high), all tables and chairs so scrambled that leave just a small path to walk in between and you can hit anyone who's dining in. 3 guys were waiting for pick up orders and it seemed like only 1 person worked there so everyone had to wait. After 10 minutes, still no greetings or seating and we walked out. One of a few that are totally unwelcoming. Maybe this location only focuses on take out and not much about dine in experience.

Was there last night (9/15/22) and everything was WONDERFUL! My host/server was courteous, friendly and super helpful and the food was GREAT! I had a bowl of Hot & Sour Soup along with the the Yellow Curry Shrimp. Fantastic! Wish I lived closer!!!

Surprisingly good food and nice atmosphere. Overall good thai and chinese food and absolutely love their vegetarian options. Their gourmet tofu is something you can't get elsewhere and definitely worth the trip (I had to double check with the server that it wasn't chicken). Waiting staff very attentive and kind. The owner is also very approachable and funny and will personally meet customers that dine-in. If you create an account online they will send occasional coupons as well!

I picked up vegetable coconut soup. The soup is so delicious, tasty and comforting. I don't live near Independence but I was in the area for a doctor's appointment. I've been craving this everyday since having their soup! Not only that but it has made me want to try other dishes from Thai Gourmet. So far no other coconut soup has come close. I highly recommend you get your Thai on at this restaurant.

We ordered pad Thai noodles and fried tofu it was good and owner was so welcoming , the only thing I was little uncomfortable was dinning tables were too close to each other it was little congested.

The customer service at the Thai Gourmet restaurant is spot on! The food is always cooked to perfection. When I enter, I’m always greeted with smiles and positive energy. The green curry with shrimp is by far some of the best in Cleveland. Also their chicken and shrimp curry fried rice is incredible. And don’t forget the bamboo shrimp appetizer, so good. The chocolate lava cake is incredible way to wrap it up. Thanks so much.

Wanted to try somewhere new and had seen good reviews however everything was disappointing. The Thai tea was way to sweet. The wonton soup had too much salt which was the only flavor that came through. The coconut soup was bland and so was the Thai spicy seafood, though it did have plenty of seafood which was a plus. We were told the Thai rolls were in rice paper, however they were deep fried and thin pencil sticks with no taste. The Pad See Ew had barely any vegetables and no flavor. We also ordered the Pataya Thai Entree which came with rice. Decent spice and amount of vegetables, just kinda boring. Service OK..new person in training trying their best. With so many places to try, no need to come back to very mediocre food.
