We reached there at the time of sunset. When I say the pictures don’t need filter, I mean it. So beautiful. The water levels are high. The parking is a little closer as the locals say. The boats are crazy cute and so are people. They charged 50/person to drive to island in water. We wanted to go a little secluded as it was Saturday eve & was a little crowded, he charged 75/person. It’s so amazing!

A nice discovery for us having stayed in the vicinity for almost 2 decades. Known to many as the Kashmir of South Gujarat. Essentially the backwaters of Karjan Dam. A beautiful place to visit. Thronged by visitors during the monsoon months. During monsoon, since the water is still being filled, the place is generally accessible on foot and by cars. However, post monsoons, once the dam is filled you can park the cars at a distance and then boat to the island in the middle of the backwaters. They have tea and basic refreshments avilable there. Must visit, especially during monsoons. Edit - 16.01.2024 They have started camping at the location. Locals charge 700 per night for a tent with lights and they set up the tent for you. No washroom facilities available hence that may be a drawback for some. Locals also can arrange hot locally cooked meals at additional cost, which you can decide with them beforehand.

The place is the gem of a place near bharuch and vadodara. It is best for one day outing with the family or friends. You can also enjoying boating in the lake. The water is of River Narmada. The only reason to give 4 star rating is that The roads near the place is not that much good. Otherwise this place deserves 5 star rating. You will find many vendors selling Maggi and other stuffs. The best time to visit this place is in monsoon season. The place is deeply connected with the nature. Must visit place during monsoon.

This lake is situated around 110 kms away from Vadodara , it is a nice picnic like spot to spend some quality time with friends and family The best time to go here is to reach early morning before the sunrise so you can see the amazing sunrise Here the locals also provide you boat ride so you can ask them I visited this place on new year 24 and did night camping here and saw the sunrise in the morning from the tents it was very good experience

No it's not the correct location. Mandan Lake is 15 to 20 kilometers away from this place. I could not add the correct location because no network was running there. I recommend this place to visit in the monsoon. Beautiful natural view. (Paid) RAW boats are available. It'll give you mesmerizing views from the center of river, especially when sun is hidden behind the clouds and rain is about to enter. If you are a photographer lover then it is the best place for photography. Mandan Lake visit for one day tour. There is no washroom available. Local food available. Don't pollute the nature. Parking space available.

◇ Mandan lake view is very beautiful place situated at the bank of lake at Mandan village. It is surrounded with beautiful small mountain range. ◇ I visited twice here, once in winter and just now in monsoon. However people prefer to visit in monsoon here. ◇ Near by city is Rajpipla about 15 km. This place get it's fame just few year back. Now many peoples are visiting here. ◇ This view point is about 1-1.5 km from main road. This 1-1.5km road is very bad. No particular parking is available, bike & car parking is guided by local villagers. No any charge for parking the vehicle. ◇ You can enjoy boating in lake, rate is bout 150 to 200 Rs per person. You can enjoy local food like corn, food packets etc. ◇ Don't expect more, as this place is for viewing the nature's beauty, boating, photography etc. Suggesting to take your meal from home.

Superb place, quaint and clean. We visited here in 26 January 2022 and there was plenty of water and many small Islands that could be approached by boats. The rates for hiring a bit is also reasonable. Being q newly discovered tourist attraction, it's clean and not too crowded. We enjoyed the serenity around one of the island and clicked several pictures. I'll surely visit again.

Scenic place away from city. When we visited, there was water everywhere. We couldn't actually enjoy the landscape for which the place is famous for. Although boats are available, it is recommended to visit during mid Feb until rain. Natuyat best. !!

It can be a good half day trip. Bring your own food as it is not available here. You can club it with your Statue of unity or Poicha's visit. The place is very beautiful, you can take a boat at around 50 rs to visit a small island where you can have a great photo session. You can also pay extra to visit some other island where you won't find much crowd. This place is extra special with special company, so bring one.

Very beautiful picnic spot. Best time to visit is early morning or late evening. This place is called as mini kashmir of gujarat. You can enjoy beautiful natural scerenery here, very calm place. Best place for pre wedding shoot. You can enjoy boat ride here. Charge is Rs.100 per person.No foods available here so brings your own food and water. You can enjoy night stay in tent here but manage you own tent.

Mandan lake is 22 kms from Rajpipla. The place is so beautiful and would recommend to visit in early hours. We reached by 0730 am and the sun rays along with the fog near the mountains made the location picturesque.. Preferred place for pre wedding shoots. Would recommend to carry food and snacks as not much options are available. Papdi loat, Maggi and Ginger tea is available.. The locals people are so kind and nice. Boating to small island and spending some time on these island make this trip memorable. Tents are available on rent and night stay can also be planned with camp fire. Need to keep this place clean to maintain the beauty.

Great experience in lake… must visit in morning time it’s beautiful and peaceful also road experience it’s also amazing and you will love it. There many small islands and local people are helpful. Beautiful place 😍🥰😍 you can visit anytime no restrictions facilities are less that the plus point not much crowsded as every other place in gujrat. boating option is vaailable the local community porvide very cheap boating service. you can take your own food or whatever you want to consume. there are island small which formed due to low water level at few places but dont take risk to jump into the water the depth is very high morning is tha best time to visit and october to fe best month.

Nice place for picnic with family. Good treat for nature lovers. A platter of mountains, valley, lake and landscape with flowers.. getting popular nowadays due to social media, but there is big request to visitors to keep this place clean. People litters everywhere specially plastic bottles and plastic wrappers of food. This land is being used by local residents for cattling field. Dumping garbage is causing here inconvenience to locals as well cattles. Please be sensible about this🙏

Can't describe it's beauty in just words. Too much beautiful.Still unrecognized . You can do outings, camping, night out with take your own facilitys. Recommended to explore after rainy season till April.

A marvellous experience. Water was very clean, took a boat ride from the banks to one of the islands inside. Need to bargain with the boatman. As per them, if you want to camo at night on one of the islands, they will assist you. It was ₹100 per person with a max half hour halt on one of the islands.

Such a calming place it's one of the hidden gem of this area. Many boats are available. Little crowded during weekends and national holidays. Little snacks available. Just need to take whatever you want before you reach out for a boat. Once u go into the lake you won't find anything there even on mini islands. During monsoon this place looks best with greenery surrounds you from all the sides. During summer youll see all the dry leaves. Want to camp then bring all the tents.

This place is near by Rajpipla...We reached here from Vadodara via Unity road SOU Road it's little bit log than other route but road is so good we reach early......it's water resoviour... It's really Amazing Place like peace......Beauty Of nature..just wow... You can Do boating here ..at very reasonable price...We took tent too so by boat we reach at some land between the water n stay for couple of hours.. boat person arrange food for us over there at very reasonable rate too(rotalo subji n all)......it's was really good.. simple food but it's was like wow as atmosphere place all make it so special.... It's fun ..you can get boil corn water bottle cold drink waffer packet n all there easily...car parking place near by it n local people are so helpful so all good..

Natural place to experience the beautiful weather in monsoon specially. (Paid) RAW boats are available at this location, to hang around in Narmada river. Also you can stay within river-above ground level spots (mini-island kind of location)for one or two hour and come back to the river bank before 5 PM. There might be any restriction in boating after that (we heard this from one localite-Boatman). It'll give you mesmerizing views from the center of river, especially when sun is hidden behind the clouds and rain is about to enter.. We luckily witnessed the thrill of breezing wind and chilling rain together while boating back to the river bank & we had to take one stop in between as wind was really furious and boat wasn't going on the direction we needed to. Electronic gadgets will surely need some really good protection from water insertion & Also it's recommended to have spare pair of cloth. Raincoat/umbrella are suggested incase you don't want to get wet from rain. Shoolpanwshwar Mahadev Mandir, Shoolpanwshwar Aarti Ghaat, Valmiki Ashram, Shree Swami Ramanand Sant Ashram, Zarwani water fall and many more beautiful locations can also be planned together with Mandan Lake visit for one day tour. If you plan to visit STATUE OF UNITY, you can/must plan Mandan Lake point right after that.. you may reach there in half an hour..you can consider 2-3 hour of stay here as per your convenience. RAW boat charges: 150 - 200 Rs. per person - to and fro basis from one to other river bank or somewhere between(mini-island). 50 to 100 Rs. per person - to hang around in Narmada river - NO stay in between. Bargaining is your right. Don't left this at your home.😊 Local food available. Don't pollute🙏🏻 Keep it clean untill you come again, & remember the same next time too.❤️

Place is so beautiful and mesmerised. One can experience Nirvana here. It is the Kashmir of Gujarat. However, government needs to intervene at the earliest to avoid public spoiling the place and to curb plastic spread in this place. Also, the water is static and not flowing. It may start smelling bad soon if great care not taken right now.

This is a heaven like place. This place is 40 kms away from Statue Of Unity. You can do boating costs around 50 rs per person. You can do camp here in night, you have to arrange all the things and the person who drives the boat can stay with you whole night on small island.

Nature at its best, we visited in monsoon and the place was just amazing with light rain showers and the clouds covering the mountains nearby, also enjoyed boating in rain and the charges are 50 to 100 per person which may differ. There are 3-4 shops where you can buy packets and hot and spicy corn. Tea and coffee are also sold there. Its a perfect place to enjoy mountains and lake for people of all age groups.
