Trek from Junnar darwaja trek route. Jivdhan Fort is one of the hardest climbs and offers an extreme rock climbing experience. Although there are steps at some point, you need to apply rock climbing talent. During rainy months water gushes out of the hilltop creating waterfalls and then the climbing becomes far more difficult. But once you reach the top and get closer to nature you can feel the silent love of Mother Nature that nurtures all your tiredness into strength. A really amazing place with many falls and lush green nature to visit. You can spend even a day there. There are many falls which one can enjoy. The enjoyment becomes double with some rain.

Amazing experience.. loved it.. while trekking be alert all the time as there are too many stones to walk on.. we did valley crossing which was around 1000ft depth and also we have done rappelling of around 350 Ft.. make sure you are flexible enough to enjoy all this fun.. It takes around 7-8hrs maximum to be back from the place you left. Fun begins when you leave your comfort zone 🙂

Visiting Fort Jivdhan was an amazing experience. The trek to the fort offers breathtaking views of the surrounding hills and valleys. It's a moderately challenging trek, so wear comfortable shoes and carry ENOUGH WATER. The effort is absolutely worth it for the panoramic views from the top. Don't forget to bring your camera! A must-visit for history enthusiasts and nature lovers. P.S. The best time to visit will be from 2pm to 7pm, as it gives you an experience of a remarkable sunset.

Overall good trek. We came here in the evening. Did Nanancha Anghtha and Nane ghat. At night we stayed in homstay near Jivdhan fort (hotel Karan). Next day morning we started around 6 AM and reached the top before sunrise. Now there are railings so comparatively easy trek. Don't miss Vanarlingi view from the top. If you come with an adventure trekking group, you can do zeep line to Vanarlingi and then do rappelling to come down. Do with all required safety. Last patch you need to use rope climing for around 8-10 feet rock patch. Rest all trek is easy.

Jivdhan is a part of the 'Famous 5' trekking destinations among trekking enthusiasts. Chavaand, Hadsar, Shivneri, and Naneghat are the other destinations in the Famous 5 trek. This is a high difficulty grade trek due to the misleading jungle tracks and the necessity and knowledge of using climbing equipment. The rock cut steps are wonderfully carved, which lead to the kalyan gate. There are hooks and rope attached on the walls of the rock cut steps near kalyan gate, which makes it easy for regular climber.

A moderate difficulty level trek. But worth visiting. The views and feel are very heavenly with the fog coming. The ascent isn't steep, however there are large steps like all other historical forts. There is spot in the cave where one can take beautiful natural light pictures. Of course pictures with the gate and wall. Many flowers also bloom in the way which makes the trek more enjoyable. While tracing down one can see the lush green plateau where the famous #reversewaterfall could be witnessed when raining suitably.

Medium level difficulty. Can be climbed from Junnar and Kalyan darvaja. Beautiful view of Sahyadri range, Harishchandra Gad,Varhadi Dongar and Nana Angtha,Naneghat from the top.Take local guide and special care during the monsoon as some patches are really tough. Similarly care needs to be taken while watching Vanarlingi Pinnacle.

One of the most beautiful forts in vicinity of Junnar. Trek level is Moderate to Difficult at few places. Try to go with local guides as there is high chance of getting lost in the woods.

Currently Jivdhan Fort is in very bad Condition.every year steps of jivdhan fort is getting collapsed. Base to top trekking time is 1/1.30 hrs time.on the way you will get steep Dense forest which is also very tiring for newbies. There is rope install on hardest point of trek where you have to show some body strength and climbing techniques. How to Reach there- 1.Best way is Private vehicle 2.if you are coming from Mumbai with public transport then Catch local to Kalyan. Take any ST which ply through malshej ghat.reach Vaishakhare Village where Naneghat trek starts. You have to climb Naneghat 4/5km first then 1 km to Jivdhan base. Please avoind Trek in Rainy season Peoples with obesity,Childrens and elderly don't come here you will get disappointed. Generally Family visiting Naneghat also visit to Jivdhan fort please avoid this.

Ok to go here in the summer and the actual rainy season. Dangerous immediately post-rainy season because the rocks are covered with moss and algae; they are neither dry nor completely clean/clear with water, so extremely slippery. Carry good-grip shoes (soft soles, not hard soles) if you wish to do it immediately after the rainy season. Going via Junnar Darwaza is moderate, but it can be risky if you don't have proper shoes or ropes in post-rainy season. Entering and exiting via Kalyan Darwaza aka Rajmargh is also fun and slightly safer compared to Junnar Darwaza. Kalyan Darwaza is usually crowded, especially on weekends, and you might have to wait for your turn because the path is narrow.

It is very beautiful & strong Fort with good ancient construction style and situated in a dense forest. Jivdhan Fort Trekking and Wanarlingi Zipline, Rapling is a great thrill. Every one should be fortunate to get such a rare opportunity. Thank you Regards, Vivek Jawale Nashik (Maharashtra)

One of the most thrilling trek I had experienced. 90% of the trek and roads are covered in fog. Please take a guide if you are new to the trek. Multiple roads may mislead you in the dense forest. Once you reach at the top you will have an unforgettable view. Vanarlingi is the key attraction.

Elevation Gain: ~350m from kalyan darwaja side Kms base to top: ~2.5kms Better to avoid this route in rain. There is one rock patch with not so good grip, that will be very slippery in rainy season. Rope is fixed on that patch. Make sure you have good grip shoes. We started around 1.20pm(rainy season), reached top(flag) and right side of the fort. We were back to base around 4.15pm
