Omar has a genuine nature and laid back approach which was a refreshing experience. I bought a lovely traditional old hand made carpet which is such a nice reminder of my travels and as with everything at De Pashmina Emporium it’s excellent quality and will last a life time. I highly recommend a visit to Omar’s shop.

seriously the best shawls and carpets you can find in Leh, I've been wearing the pashmina shawl I've got from there for 3 years now and the quality is excellent. Besides the products, the owner Omar is very nice, not only as a seller but also as a person, we've been friends since I visited India. So I highly recomment this shop to everyone:)

Not only the carpets are beautiful, but Omar himself as a person. He is a nice guy to chat and have a kashmiri tea with, while having him show you some of his carpets and learning about them. He is very eager to find items that suit you personally and all of what he sells seems high quality. Good value for money! I would recommend stopping by Chanspa Road to catch him in any case!

I bought two silk rugs from Omar via internet and Whatapp from UK.The rugs are exceptional and all communication with Omar was really good. Expensive but for the quality, great value. Would definitely recommend and would buy more if I had a bigger house to put them in!
