Best time to visit in December-January. Watch out for beautiful meteor shower/shooting star nights in cold freezing temperatures. Early morning you can sight lot of migratory birds, sometimes pink flocks too.

One more best location of the big desert of Kutch. Gangto Bat is located just 10 km away from Rav. Where the beautiful temple of Ravechi Maa is located on the hill. From where the whole Gangto desert has a beautiful view. Especially in the monsoon and early winter seasons the white desert is seen. While in the summer season the white desert is no longer visible. Due to flooding in the monsoon in the desert of Gangto, contact with the bats was lost. So even in the monsoons the work of paving the way for the Gangato bat is in full swing. So everyone should visit Gangto Bat and Ran once.
