It was a small time just 30mins. Price is rs 90. Initially it was good and interesting after 15mins it started boring. It's a good 3d experience. Good for kids which is good knowledge. The ticket box office is 200 meters away. There are near by lot of other attraction places One can plan for full day picnic here.

The only 3D planetarium in India,21st in the world.A must visit place for every person visiting Mangaluru. The show, the overall experience and the ambience is worth every penny you pay for the tickets which is 60 rupees as of August 2018! The ticket can also be booked through "Book My Show". A great initiative by the Government.

Excellent planetarium. Very good experience here. The price is too reasonable at entrance of Pilikula we need to get ticket for full package at 220/- (there are many other ticket option available. But 220 is best offer as we can go all the interesting places inside the Pilikula). The show in planetarium is awesome. The seats are nice. Children will enjoy the show. Worth visiting this place .

Shows in English and Kannada about stars, planets in 3D and mesmerising sound and picture quality. You will be jumping on seats shouting with joy by watching videos. Must visit place for everyone. After watching 45min show you can see science experiments models and enjoy in the park around it. Then you can visit the science park. Enjoy with gadgets and play around. Taking pictures of group selfies and lots of fun. If you are a science lover definitely it's for you. But, if you not then can fall in love with science here.

Excellent show in the planetarium. It is worth the money paid. The seats and the 3d glasses are also quite good. Children below 3 are not allowed. Handbags need to be deposited in the baggage counter. Note that nowadays they have only 1 show per day at 2pm. And during weekends and public holidays it gets booked quickly. So do plan to come early and book the ticket.

Photo inside is prohibited. So just a miniature info. This is also located inside philikula nisargadhama. You will get a 20 min 3_d show explaining how universe was formed.very informative for kids and they will enjoy it for sure. If you are visiting noon there is small canteen but I would recommend you to use lake garden road resturant. Enjoy the show

Usually there are two shows, one at 12:00 noon and the other at 3:00pm. Nice to watch the solar system in 3D wearing Polaroid goggles. It is a 40 min show which includes complete planatiry view as we look into the sky during night times, information on how the atomic fusion and creation of various molecules and elements. In addition to this a small entertainment show also included during this 40 minutes.

Excellent 3d space world experience. Audi is world class with it’s spacious seating and premium glasses. Only con was the movie was too technical and went too much in detail.

Really good infrastructure for sure. But terribly managed. Staff are rude. Their only interest and emphasis is “Glasses are expensive”. You pretty much get treated like you’ll destroy or steal them. Ridiculous. Instead of all this rubbish, they should simply put terms and conditions on usage. Also, total lack of information. What is the show about? How long is it? Sensory advisory. Nothing. Too many archaic rules. No water bottle. No bags.

Very good infrastructure. Very good 3D and sound effects. But they just play a 3D video relating to science. Anything relating to space was not showing.

Good planetarium . It is planned and built to provide the best learning experience for students and enthusiasts on Zodiacal system of planets. The science centre has exhibition halls with a variety of interactive setups. And it also has activities, demonstrations and workshops going all over the place. It presents educational and entertaining shows about astronomy and the night sky, or for training in celestial navigation.Must visitt!!

Planetarium was a huge disappointment, was shocked when I realised that nothing related to space or any planets/stars was included in the 3D show. Science museum on the other hand was great. Located just opposite the planetarium. It was very amusing to see the exhibits.

The infrastructure, ambience and globe like screen is awesome. A lot of amazing videos can be shown like planets, sun, asteroids, meteors, nebula, galaxies etc. But all they show is average sized moon(not too zoomed), star constellations and a boring mars mission video which you can see on YouTube or any movies. Except the initial 5 min, everything is boring. I don't know on what basis people rate it 5. Lot of room for improvement in the videos that they display.

3D theatre was too good. Worth the money spent. It was a 20 min screening about stars and how the universe was formed.
