Awesome place to stay and Amazing food prepared by Pramod ,this place is so silent that even you can hear the sound of stream .if you love bird watching then this the exact place and Ron has lot of knowledge about birds. Sply the house is great an old style house it is where during winters in room you will not feel cold and also during summer you will not feel hot.

Ecotopian Dwelling is a beautiful and peaceful place to stay in between the greenery. Me and my sister really enjoyed staying over there. The rooms itself has a nice mud coated beautifully decorated walls, a comfortable bed and all the necessary amenities. The view was great from the balcony. We could see the lush green mountains, sunrise , chirping of sparrows which is now extinct in delhi. Good network connectivity . In one sentence I would say it's a HOME AWAY FROM HOME.

Dwell here if you want to have a different and unique mountain Home experience. Best for kids to provide them raw, experiential learning. Home cooked Food is divine, served with love. The owner Ron is an experienced, clear visioned, entertaining guy to talk to. He lets you decide what you want to do there and then takes you to the places accordingly where you can explore and connect yourself better with u and with nature. I am grateful to spend my memorable four days at such an Affordable, beautiful, peaceful, safe and happening place. Thanks a lot 😀

A simple stay away from the rush of common tourist places. Nestled in the village of Badal, Ecotopian Dwelling home stay provides you comfortable stay and delicious meals in quite affordable price range. My personal favourite is the nearby river stream...gurgling sound, amazing view and no crowd makes it so inviting. It's just 30 minutes drive from Rishikesh. Have a happy stay!!!

I stayed here with my 6 yr old daughter, and a friend and her 3 yr old daughter. When I called up Ron that I want to come and stay with them.. He was more then welcoming.. Even on the phone call I could feel the warmth and welcoming tone. Stay here was awesome. Rooms are so aesthetically done, we had a smile of relief as we entered the premises and rooms. Felt like a haven away from all the hustle bustle, amidst nature, beautiful mountains. And the River Ganga.. What else would one need. He took care of our meals so well.. He took us around for a ride in a mountain Village.. It was a deep forest. Just looking for another chance to be there. We really need such travel experiences where you feel at home with people, feel like a community. We wish ecotipoan dwellings all the very best..

had an unorganised solo travel for the first time.. And landed to this place... I guess destiny wanted me to be Ecotopian, and so were the small small hurdles. No luck with finding a decent place in weekend for stay as a solo traveller. I finally called Ron and he arranged everything so swiftly... Three days Experience at ecotopian was so mesmerising that my soul could feel home there... The cozy garhwali space to stay.. Homecooked food, caring team, and visit to Neelkanth followed by the experience to trek to jhilmil cave and spending hours at the ganges... A warm conversation with one of the sanyasi baba there. I felt so fresh and charged up.. Thanks Ron and team to make it a memorable experience

We felt like staying with our family at the homestay! Ron, Dharshan and Aparna Di treated us like family, very hospitable, took care of our needs and ensured we reached wherever we went, safely. Felt the comfort of being in safe hands while in an unknown place. The food was mild, tasty and homely, and we cherished the Shimla Mirch and Patha Gobi the most! And not to forget the Pohas and the Tomato rice as well! Kids enjoyed their personalised shakes too!! Ron bhaiyya went out of his way to negotiate and ensure we were getting the best value for every penny we were spending outside! Overall, we had a great experience and will get in touch with him again when we play our next trek/trip to Rishikesh! Thank you so much!!

Very Beautiful place and homely environment. The surroundings are serene. The Shivpuri homestay is located in the middle of mountains in a village and near a stream that flows into Ganga river. The whole homestay is so beautifully constructed that it gives a unique experience, i did not even want to leave. The rooms are very spacious, made of mud which keeps it cool even during summers and the outside sitting area is great to sit and chit chat with friends or have coffee or food, there are also beds placed outside incase you want to lie down here and not in your room. A must place to visit recommended by me. River Ganga is about a kilometre from here so one can even walk to visit the ganga river. See you there😀

My visit to Rishikesh in summer 2022 is my first interaction with Ecotopia. With Ecotopia, I got the connect with nature in a deep sense of love and respect for the ecology and a regard for sustainability. It is stunning that this is one of those trips to Rishikesh that costed me the least yet served me with the most richly fulfilling memories. I was very impressed by Ron, who is an outdoors educator with 20+ years of experience. I stayed at his homestay in Shivpuri village, where I met humbling locals and people from different parts of India and the world. Hiking, spelunking, and river sports are a must with Ron! I know I will return to the Ecotopia team for my future adventures in Uttarakhand.
