I usually don’t give 5/5 but this one is an exception since the restaurant not only had good food & ambience but also had an exceptionally great service and staff behaviour. The restaurant is beautiful and is 10-12 steps down the Mall Road which is easy to locate. It has regular, off beat and extraordinary menu with great preparations. Full marks to chef!! Visited the restaurant many times and..Tried many dishes: Nutty Nachos Al Fungi Riso Veggie Pizza Lotus seed hara bhara kabab And many more Make a random wish and they will make it happen. Must visit!!

Amayaa is a breath of fresh air in the same old cafes and restaurants in Shimla ! I absolutely loved the place. The location is on the mall but just down a flight of stairs. It's easily navigable. The food is amazing. I ordered an Arrabbiata Sauce Penne Pasta and a Tiramisu. Both the items did not disappoint ! I personally think it was one of the best tiramisu's I have tasted. The pasta was asked before to me if I wanted al dente or fully cooked. I asked for al dente and al dente was what I got. So they definitely know their sauces and pastas well. We were also served breadsticks as an appetizer with an in-house tomato sauce which was so balanced in its taste. The owner, Shivansh is extremely polite and helps you with recommendations along with asking if the food is good or not. Absolutely loved that. The prices are affordable just as any other place in Shimla would offer, so absolutely worth trying the food. The washrooms are well kept and the ambience is beautiful, clean and incredibly enjoyable. Definitely recommending Amayaa's and do yourself a favour trying the Tiramisu.

We had a great time visiting this cosy cute restaurant with an intriguing name during our visit to Shimla. The chefs take personal care of your requirements, taste and preferences. We loved this place so much that the kids wanted to come back for evening snacks and once again Amayaa never failed to wow us! Not to forget the red boxed puff zone which is also aesthetically designed. Coming to food hard to pick out one as all their starters stood out. The mushroom galouti kebab was a winner with the tenderness melting in mouth. We kept repeating our orders till the end. A must visit restaurant if you are in the vicinity or even worth a travel down the winding roads to meet Perkhi and his team take care of customers like family!

Best place on Mall road to have a food here, We had dinner and we enjoyed it a lot... Everything is good here but just the service is slow... They will serve you papad and one of their home dish complementry... Do try Biryani and Tiramasu in Deserts... You will find price little bit on higher side but if you can afford it you will not regret it... I regret that I tried it on my last day in Shimla, or i would have here for one more time...

Food taste was amazing. Ordered mushroom cappuccino, Thai green curry veg & aglio olio peperoncino pasta. Everything was good and on time. Staffs are very polite and provided good hospitality.

Amazing food, pleasant ambience and friendly staff. I have been here twice for lunch and had great experience both times. Guava dip with bread sticks was served as a complimentary starter which tastes amazing. Mushroom cappuccino soup was excellent and I would highly recommend everyone to try it. Do not miss this place if you are in shimla. In photos- mushroom cappuccino soup, kashmir tabak mass soup, Afghani paneer tikka, Som tom thai veg salad, lotus seed hara bhara kebab, mutton khurchan, chicken biryani, and buransh & rose panna cotta.

Great ambiance… A unique of its kind in Shimla with multiple continental and fusion items… quality and presentation of food was awesome. They don’t serve liquor…. But good mocktail options.. Highly recommended

This is a fairly new place situated very close to the lift on the Shimla mall road. Run by an ex-Marriott chef, the menu is great and so is the hospitality. If you appreciate food and love to try out new things, the team at Amayaa will take personal interest to ensure that your culinary experience is memorable. In a crowded Mall Road, there are very few places where the owner (also the head chef) will speak to you personally to understand your food palette and preference. Being a foodie, I like trying out food that I haven’t before, or ask the staff for their recommendations. What we ordered was:- Amayaa special vegetable dish that has a unique combination of mix veggies and lentils cooked together in gravy. It’s usual ingredients but cooked with interesting use of whole spices. Very balanced (4.5/5) Malai Kofta (Signature Dish) A very refined version of the classic malai kofta with smooth, silky purée with kofta balls. The refined version of this classic may or may not be your ultimate preference. (4/5) Lamb Ragu Fettuccine Pasta If you are bored of eating the regular penne and spaghetti red and white sauce pasta variants. Move onto something more authentic like this dish. Very well balanced, an acquired taste for those who want punchy sauce (Indian version of Pasta). But if you want the authentic experience then this is it (5/5) Finally. Dessert. The Buransh and Rose Panna Cotta. I won’t describe this but will tell you that it was heavenly! One of the best desserts I have eaten in entire Shimla. I could have eaten 3 more and not gotten enough of it. (7/5) Highly recommend the place.

A beautifully designed, contemporary restaurant serving lovely and carefully prepared Indian dishes. The chicken tikka and mushroom starters were excellent as was the slow cooked lamb with a beautiful panna cotta to finish . We will be back tonight !

My new hot favourite in town! It’s a place where I and my friends hang out frequently. The food and service is great and the ambience of the restaurant is amazing. Would recommend it to everyone. It’s a must visit place when in Shimla for an exquisite experience. Perfect for anytime of the day because of the variety of food and drinks options they offer.

Recently visited this cozy cum comfy place in Shimla ( Amaya Restaurant) , This is a must visit restaurant not because of the vibes of the place but also their deadly food -Do try their breadsticks with Guava Dip which is complimentary ☺️ The best i had till now is their Tiramisu 🤌. Also tried their Pizza , Cafe Coffee, Rose Panacotta . I must say - everything was superb 💯but rose Panacotta is to die for 😢 Highly highly recommended 😍

The restaurant is right at the mall road just 10-15 stair down from the road. Food was below average. The service was too slow even when only 2 other tables were occupied besides ours. Overall the high rating did not justify the experience we had.

Best Pizza of my Life. The Italian and Chinese food over here is really really good. The Indian food is definitely to die for. The best place to chill with your friends. The place is very comfortable and the staff makes you feel at home. Tried their drinks and they were really delicious.

It was our first time in shimla and the place was recommended by a local mallu. Had a very good experience, hospitality was great, and the food was exquisite , I would recommend to visit this place if u are in shimla

An absolutely amazing experience in Shimla. The servers are extremely hospitable, graceful and polite. They love to take your review on each item you ordered, no matter how busy it is. It usually closes at 10PM but they were very kind to accommodate us later. The food and the presentation were excellent. Came here for dinner one day and returned the next. Some must try dishes include - Butter Chicken, Cheesy malai chicken and their Euro Jazz Platter. The food is very reasonable with regards to the quality served. Would definitely visit again when in Shimla.

Very elegant and quiet place. Service is amazing. Food is great. Overall a must visit for peaceful meal. PS: They will take time in preparation of food.
