Great place .we visited chatakpur hence qe had to stop at the entry and made passes. For vehicle its 400,per person its 120.Its through Sonada.Leopards,bear,deer,wild dog,monkey,fox are there.Road is not that good so,be careful while selecting a car to take .some places forest is so dense that light rarely enters inside .wild flowers,view of villages in,mountain ranges will definitely make your stay / trip memorable.

On our way to Chatakpur we had to go through this sanctuary. It's an amazing place. Just amidst nature, left the way it is supposed to be. It is surrounded by greenery on all sides. Some mighty trees and thick vegetation. This sanctuary also has some wild animals like :cheetah, wild boar, black bear, barking deer etc. So we were a bit more careful.

Senchal wildlife sanctuary is always a hotspot for a variety of birds and mammals.Often one can find very uncommoner amongst the commoner.. Nowadays hill partridge is rocking the place and equally supported by Fulvous Parrotbill..

We were going to Chatakpur & did cross the Senchal wildlife sanctuary, it was a wonderful experience. There were hardly any roads, the trail was exactly meant for one car, in the entire stretch from the entry gate of the Senchal Wildlife Sanctuary to Chatakpur there wasn't a single car except a bike of a local. Really it was a wonderful experience, it was a Dense forest & was an adventurous journey from the entry of the Wildlife Senchal Wildlife Sanctuary to Chatakpur

Rejuvenating place with fresh oxygen, plants and Kanchanjangha.Specially nearest village Chhatakpur is serene beauty.

It's a heaven for Travel Photographers and Wildlife Photographys

Beautiful and mesmerising . It was completely covered with clouds . It was a heavenly experience.

Don't know about the wildlife sanctuary and its wild animals but this sanctuary has the beautiful hamlet of Chatakpur. It can be reached only through reserved/private vehicles and road condition from Sonada to Chatakpur through Senchal forest is very bad, but offers a picturesque view. PS- This place is closed to visitors from 15th June to 15th September.
