I
June
2019
I
completed
my
200h
TTC
at
Akshi
Yoga.
This
school
was
recommended
to
me
and
I
can
only
recommend
it
to
anyone
who
is
genuinly
interested
in
learning
more
about
yoga.
Either
for
your
own
personal
growth
or
for
becoming
a
good
teacher,
attend
a
teacher
training
there!
The
owner
of
the
school
lives
on
the
premises
with
his
family
and
they
all
live
and
breathe
yoga.
The
atmosphere
is
extremly
positive
and
calm
and
from
what
I
understood
two
of
the
teachers
learned
from
the
same
master
like
the
owner
for
a
decade!
All
teachers
are
passionate
about
their
subject
and
don't
necessarily
agree
with
each
other
but
show
immense
respect
for
the
other.
It
is
very
helpful
and
beneficial
to
have
different
teachers
for
different
subjects
because
they
are
each
so
fond
of
their
specialized
topic,
that
they
are
really
amazing
in
sharing
it
with
you!
You
can
ask
anything
and
you
will
get
answers!
And
learn
so
much
more
when
getting
involved.
Yoga
turned
out
to
be
so
much
more
than
just
asanas
as
you
know
then
from
Western
drop-in
yoga
classes.
The
hardest
part
was
to
take
all
the
information
in
and
memorize
it.
Such
long
days
packed
to
the
rim
with
information!
All
ceremonies
and
classes
were
conducted
with
a
lot
of
care
and
well
organized
and
clearly
structured.
There
were
free
time
activities
schedduled,
that
I
chose
not
to
attend
because
of
personal
reasons.
Activities
like
rafting
and
seeing
the
sunrise
on
the
hill
and
arti
at
the
river.
I
would
have
loved
to
participate
but
just
couldn't.
But
if
you
are
only
in
India
for
the
time
of
the
training,
make
sure
not
to
miss
it!
There
was
an
agenda
in
the
lessons
but
still
room
to
get
into
more
depth
and
to
ask
questions.
And
plus
all
teachers
are
so
very
experienced,
they
can
easily
adopt
to
any
questions
you
bring,
no
matter
in
which
lesson
or
on
which
topic.
For
Rishikesh,
full
of
commercial
yoga
schools
that
just
see
the
money
from
white
tourists,
and
a
place
that
I
would
consider
the
least
spiritual
you
can
picture,
finding
Akshi
Yoga
is
like
finding
a
pearl
on
the
beach!
Of
course
they
have
to
make
money!
They
have
teachers
and
their
families
to
feed!
But
their
focus
remains
yoga!
And
helping
anyone
to
be
able
to
have
a
taste
of
yoga
and
make
it
their
life!
To
me
it
felt
like
they
rather
have
less
student
but
those
who
care
than
a
lot
of
students
that
just
want
a
certificate.
Because
then
teaching
becomes
a
waste
of
time.
Most
other
schools
seem
to
only
want
money
and
don't
care
much
about
the
results.
And
I
never
heard
of
anyone
failing
the
test
...
I
had
a
longer
list
of
schools
not
to
go
to
from
people
that
had
been
to
them
than
a
list
of
schools
to
check
out
before
I
went
to
Rishikesh.
And
talking
to
students
on
the
road,
many
said
they
were
not
particularly
happy
but
tried
to
make
the
best
out
of
it.
They
were
excited
about
being
abroad
and
about
being
in
Rishikesh
and
were
overwhelmed
by
that
and
had
nothing
to
compare
it
to.
I
had
tried
another
school,
one
of
the
biggest
and
after
one
week
nearly
quit
yoga
altogether.
If
it
wasn't
because
of
trying
Akshi
Yoga,
I
am
not
sure
if
I
would
still
be
keen
on
yoga
...
So
before
you
book
a
training,
ask
some
people
you
know
for
their
honest
opinion!
Looking
at
reviews
on
the
internet
makes
me
wonder
how
many
are
genuine
and
also,
how
many
are
just
to
polite
to
say
things
how
they
are
and
therefore
don't
review!
Consider
this:
Schools
that
have
60
plus
customers
a
month,
how
come
they
only
have
a
handful
of
reviews
over
the
years
and
mainly
positive?
I
recommend
you
do
a
little
bit
of
research
about
the
teachers,
too,
and
how
frequently
they
change.
At
Akshi
you
will
find
they
stick
-
because
it
is
a
good
and
genuine
place
and
not
about
the
money
first!
It
is
a
genuine
way
to
make
a
living,
doing
what
they
are
doing
best.
Teaching
us!
Answering
our
questions
and
helping
us
on
the
way!
That
is
what
we
pay
for,
their
expertise
and
interest
in
us
becoming
yogis
to
the
degree
we
choose.
Compare
schools!
Just
make
sure
you
put
Akshi
on
your
list!
Email
them
or
call
them
and
get
a
feeling.
You
will
also
find
they
actually
do
reply.
