The room and washroom is all very clean and spacious. Their service is also very good, even the owner is very supportive if you are in need of something. They will make sure that you are comfortable at their place. A good place to stay if you want to run away from the hustle of a city. We could try authentic Chettinad food here which was sooo good. PS: Either take your vehicle here or be ready to book a cab or auto to roam around(They will help you find someone to take you through the main attractions)

We were thankful to stay for 3 nights. The room is very comfortable and quiet during the day itself. Loved having a warm Breakfast and Dinner choice. Food was served in the room itself as per our request even there is a separate dining room. Indoor games are available on request my kids enjoyed the stay. It’s a gated hotel so there is no need to worry about kid’s very safe place.

On our family vacation we got a chance to stay at Mithila eco stay for a day. The place was really clean and cozy. Caretaker meena was really helpful. We also got a chance to relish fresh and tasty food during our stay. Owner Mr Vairavan went out of the way to help us plan our day. We would surely prefer staying here if we ever travel to karaikudi. Very clean rooms, very good shower & bathroom. Very comfortable beds, very nice owners. Authentic chettinad rooms. Live Dosa counter is a plus to the breakfast and Dosas was made as per request and fresh Eggs in the morning is great. We would stay here again

Had a very comfortable stay here with a large group. Highly recommend staying here if you're exploring the Chettinad region. The staff and the host are very friendly and highly supportive.

Chettinad is suitable for all age group there is fort, mansion, Museums and lot of temples to see. We travelled to Thanjavur which is 70 km from the hotel and the Mr.Vairavan helped to book his friends hotel in Thanjavur and he extended his support to visit all the places and assisted till we reach home.

We stayed in Mithila eco stay for just a day.. but that was a very memorable one. The rooms were super clean, comfortable and the surroundings too were lovely and lively. Clam and best place for a holiday or a pilgrimage trip. Thanks for this opportunity. Worth every penny.

Room is ok ok type. Very far from town. Not ideally located. No WiFi Bed-sheet and bed-spread provided were poor. Breakfast was average. It is not run in a professional way. The stay place has a dog and it keeps barking whenever you enter. It is very irritating Communication with the property owner gave a feeling that providing quality service is not their priority

Enjoyed the stay in serene environment and homely food. The host was very welcoming and pleasant. Got to know more about chettinad from the host. Will definitely stay here during our next visit.

Vairavan is an extremely warm and welcoming host who also proactively helped us out with local sightseeing and travel recommendations during the course of our stay. He has set up a beautiful property which is a good example of the classic Chettinad style of architecture and provided us with a comfortable and memorable stay. I would like to specially compliment the food provided by his team, which was delicious and gave us an opportunity to experience the Chettinad cuisine. Would highly recommend experiencing this stay.

Mithila Eco Homestay is located in a very peaceful and beautiful village setting around 20 kilometres from Athanagudi town. The rooms are huge and comfortable and the food prepared by the caretaker on prior order is excellent. The caretaker and his family is very courteous and helpful. The place has a beautiful terrace overlooking a traditional mansion and the village. Would love to return and stay here again.

Place is neat. Can be accessed by car Local Bus transport available but at selective timings. Cook prepares food on request (depends on headcount)
