Amazing place. I have done basic water sports course from here. It also offers other courses which include swimming, cannoing, rafting, surfing. The staff was very cooperative and disciplined. The instructions were given in hindi and english. The food quality is very good. For a course of 3 days it costed approx 2000 rupees. The dam is very large ,deep and wide. The rooms are very clean and there are space for storing your luggage in every room.

Superb experience..you should visit this place..we visited as part of nss but you also visit by paying very nominal amount..you get accommodation and water sports activities like kayaking,rafting,sailing etc ..Can't forget this experience in my life..thank you regional water sports center for providing this opportunity.

Great place to visit in himachal, at the corner of the pong dam reservoir

Many sports activities available for tourists as well as students of university. Water sports and activities and camping facilities available. For tourists it may be around 1000 per day per person including sports and for students 700 or something per day. A week is sufficient to have full fun here and enjoy the wetlands of River Beas. A lot of migratory birds can be seen on the big reservoir of dam spreading over miles. Also called the Pong dam. Famous for the recreational activities.
