Best Masala Dosa and coffee I have had in Guwahati. Ambience is very calm as well with Malayalam classical music playing in bg.

I am usually sympathetic to small restaurants. But this one is very overpriced. Puttu and chana curry with papad is 200rs. For a small place and especially in Assam, where the price is modest, this place is pricing everything high. As a person from Kerala, I felt cheated. I went in seeing the Kerala name. Will I go next time? No

Extremely unprofessional, not sure how they got 3 and half star. Sambhar is made of tomato and the tiny bowl contains not more than 6 spoons. Dosa is ok in size but normally dosa’s are bigger than the plate in any other restaurants. If you are hungry for lunch then a average person has to eat at least 4 of them. Dosa is not crispy at all. I have no complaints with the white chutney, it’s good but really comes with a tiny bowl. You will have to ask 10 times if you want to compare with any other restaurant. My five year old (normal physic) ate one dosa and asking for more, so you can figure out the quantity. Don’t fall for the name “Kerala”. Eat two samosa’s instead you will feel better

Chicken bone in egg curry but the owner is saying it's common and I should not complain. Most of their food is stale and old. I hope the health department raids their restaurant. The worst thing is they don't want to accept their mistakes.

I recently ordered from Kerala Bhavan restaurant, and I have to say that I found the overall food experience to be average. While the dishes I tried were decent, they didn't particularly stand out or impress me. The flavors were somewhat lacking, and I was expecting a more authentic and vibrant taste. Additionally, one aspect that disappointed me was the pricing. I found the prices to be on the higher side. Given the average quality of the food, I was expecting a more reasonable price point. However, it's worth noting that restaurant experiences can vary, and what didn't appeal to me might be enjoyable for others. It's possible that I may have ordered the wrong dishes.

It was really amazing that I got my favourite Kerala dish with similar taste which I normally gets in Kerala .

Best and Authentic South Indian food in whole of Assam! Excellent service. Place may not look impressive but you will say Old is Gold after tasting there food!!! Just Awesome!

I am disappointed with the taste of food and the quality. Besides, its not a vegetarian restaurant they serve chicken mutton every single items. We have better options of South Indian food in Chennais kitchen, Christian Basty, where the food quality is superb. In fact, the veg thali I was served, had cauliflower hard part , which was supposed to be thrown away, but instead was served in cauliflower curry..Very, very disappointed..The special masala dosa was some sort of edible but the taste of sambhar was bad. Need to change the cook immediately.

The parrottas wer gud .. egg kothu is ok and kerala parrotta is good .. for appam they gave the kallappam .. mutton chukka expected tiny boneless pieces but was full of bone pieces which is hardly 3 piece dat was expensive too .. egg curry as well the complimentary mutton curry was too much unbearably salty .. and the coffee is too goood

Very unique and ethnic.... The guy in the counter is a dear... He will explain and present the dish in a very satisfactory manner... Its a must visit for tasting Keralian cuisine in a very affordable price and highest possible quality... The filter coffee is just awesome and its combination with retro Malayali music is just a different vibe...

The food served us was pretty good and well cooked. But I asked to pack fish curry and rice for lunch .They shown the menus and the quantity served us was diffrent. Instead two large piece of fish they break one piece of fish in to two and packed. On the way, once we opened the pack of lunch it hammered our believe. They cheat the customers....

I came here for the first time and ordered butter masala dosa . It was really very tasty . I would recomend everyone and also you can have your lunch here. Its would rate 10/10 .

Over Rated restaurant. They are charging very high charges for each items. For small puttu they are charging Rs.90 and have to purchase curry additional. Taste wise meals and porotta is good. All other dishes are below average with high rate. Even many keralites are not even interested to visit again after one visit to this restaurant.

Tried their Maysore Masala Dosa, felt little oily. The stuffing was good. The dosa didn't felt crispy. Felt little overpriced may have charged 130 but was of 150. The Tea was good low sugar and creamy. Overall nice place to munch some of the South Indian dish. Stuff were responsive and well mannered.

Parotta was good; soft and flaky. Mutton was very soft. But the best part was filter coffee, best in Guwahati for me.

I will not say this is best south indian food restaurant but it's ok for me. #Sambar is good and chutney is good but main course need improvement.

A must visit restaurant if you're craving to have something from South Indian cuisine. So authentic and delicious. Running since 1985, you get the old school vibe and not to forget, great hospitality too. The staffs and the owner are very much welcoming. Price so reasonable, you surely wouldn't want to miss it.

Place is overrated. Food tastes authentic but chutney served from freezer. Filter coffee is definitely just Bru instant..not filter coffee. May be ok for kerala meals... ambience and set up needs sprucing up.. it is in a dingy room.
