    Best thermal power plant in Bihar providing great facilities to its emloyee. The whole NTPC area is very clean and so it provides a healty environment for the people residing there. There is greenry everywhere and playgrounds.

    NTPC Kahalgaon is a thermal power station located in the Bhagalpur district of the Indian state of Bihar. It is one of the power plants operated by National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC), India's largest power utility. The power station has a total installed capacity of 2,340 megawatts (MW), which is generated by four units of 660 MW each. The power station uses coal as its primary fuel and the coal is sourced from the North Karanpura Coalfields in Jharkhand. The plant started its commercial operation in the year 1984.

Stage#1 , 4 units each of 210 MW capacity Stage#3 , 3 units each of 510 MW capacity Water source is taken from Ganga river Coal is from Lalamtia mines of ECL It is one of the oldest power plant of Bihar .

    Beautiful and mesmerising. Roads are clean with trees planted both side. It has class 1 guest rooms, helipad , parks , schools , shopping complexes and a very beautiful newly built huge SHIV MANDIR.
