Take bath under kapila teertham coming from hill and go for blessings of kapileshwara swami which is next to kalyani. there are other shrines of krishna, narasimha, devi etc. around kalyani. Place needs to be maintained well, People should stop using soap/shampoo here, I saw people left their clothes. or there should be person to take care/give instructions to maintain cleanliness of holy kalyani.

Kapila teertham water falls is located inside the Kapileswara Swamy Temple premises on the way to Alipiri toll gate from Tirupati bus station. This is a very ancient temple and the only temple under the administration of TTD. During rainy season, one can have the spectacular waterfalls. Pilgrims were earlier allowed to take bath under the falls but after covid, no one is allowed. Also do visit the jungle book garden just adjoining the temple.

Today on 11 August 23 I was at this sacred holy place. Presently you can't see the waterfall because of the weak monsoon but the holy pond is full of clean water. No doubt you will get eternal peace and calmness there. The crowd is not much at this time. You can carry your mobile also.

Very beautiful waterfall, due to good rains today on the hills water was more, or else water in the fall will be very less. It was almost dark when we reached the place.

"I had a serene and spiritually enriching experience at Kapila Teertham. The natural beauty surrounding the sacred waterfall is awe-inspiring. The peaceful atmosphere and the sound of cascading water create a perfect environment for introspection and prayer. The temple architecture adds to the cultural richness of the place. A must-visit for anyone seeking a blend of nature and spirituality."

Kapila Teertham is a beautiful waterfall located in the Chittoor district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. The waterfall is situated in the middle of a dense forest and is a popular tourist destination in the region. The waterfall is formed by the Kapila River which originates in the nearby hills. The water cascades down a height of about 100 feet into a small pond at the bottom, creating a stunning sight. The pool at the bottom is also a popular spot for tourists to take a dip and relax. Kapila Teertham is also considered a sacred site by many Hindus and is believed to have mythological significance. According to legend, the sage Kapila performed penance at this spot, and the waterfall is named after him. Many pilgrims visit the waterfall to take a holy dip in the pool and offer prayers at the nearby temple. The best time to visit Kapila Teertham is during the monsoon season (July to October), when the waterfall is at its full flow and the surrounding forest is lush green. However, it's important to exercise caution while visiting during the monsoon season, as the roads leading to the waterfall can be slippery and dangerous. Overall, Kapila Teertham is a must-visit destination for nature lovers, adventure enthusiasts, and spiritual seekers alike.

Good place to enjoy with beautiful waterfall. Both family and friends we can enjoy a lot. Temple is so good. The pond is very good to see but a bit careful with snakes in it. The waterfall is simply superb. Rooms to change the dress are bit harder. Need to be maintained better. The temple lighting is very good.

Kapilatheertham is a small waterfall , a holy place, situated at the entry point of tirumala. As per the tradition, before visiting the tirumala Balaji, needs to worship kapileshwarar and Meenakshi ambal sannadhi, next to the waterfall. Waterfall water collected in a small pond. Taking a bath in this pond is considered to be a sacred bath.

It's an awesome place for Devotion and Waterfall. It's naturally made on a hill full of rock. The water falls from more than 200ft. The water is too pure and comes along from the top of the seven hill(Edukondalu) and brings a lot of minerals. Children are also allowed.😊😍

The waterfall is situated near the temple which is at the downhill of Tirumala. It's a seasonal waterfall. Don't expect water over there in peak summer. Paid parking is available on the road side near the entrance. The place is flooded with monkeys, be careful if you are bringing any eatables.

Disappointed to see the Kapila Teertham storage tank. Wish the Devastanam should take necessary serious actions and maintain well and keep the historic temples neat and hygiene. Even the car parking fee is very high 50/-

The temple of Kapileshwara swamy was beautiful. The waterfall is completely dried up The water in the pool is no good. not Maintained well. A good time to go would be rainy season as they say the fall might become alive. The organisation of the q complex is not good but manageable. Get to the place early to avoid rush.
