Nice Place to visit for family and friends in weekends. The water is so cold no freezer gives you that chilled water. Best time to enjoy climate between 11 am to 2 pm . I would suggest take food from home or outside as local canteen/hotel workers not wearing masks while cooking and serving food to visitors. and important thing Take care when drives by bike at road turns Life is more important then joy and fun. stay safe and Healthy !

I visited here on 2024 Pongal holiday solo on bike from Chennai. The travel itself was challenging almost 4+ hours of travel along with the early morning mist making it an impossible ride. I planned to be there before 8:30am their opening time but then I reached around 9-9:30am. You'd be charged 10โ‚น for parking ๐Ÿ…ฟ๏ธ and another 30โ‚น per head for entry. They have a large open space beneath the falls where vehicles are parked. For bikes, monkeys are the most annoying thing you'll regret on for travelling on a bike there as they'd check your bike for food and and making it clumsy. My tank cover was torn when I came ๐Ÿ”™. As I was early I came across only a fewer crowd till 10 or 11am but after that they place was filled with people. If you're looking for peace and alone spot come very very early for privacy. Most exciting spot to chill and have fun beneath the falls if you visit with larger crowds. Look out for kids safety by yourself as there is no incharge of sort overseeing the crowd. It is better stay at the bottom foot pond like structure beneath the waterfall that one would see after parking their vehicle if you have more elderly persons and kids with you. 3rd spot on top is too slippery and the fencing there is irregular and not well maintained, so go there at your own risk. People even go above that to reach the top of the falls but it is not recommendable as there is no proper visible path and being dense forest area one might even lose time finding the way without any locals. Early in the morning ๐ŸŒ… the water was so chill and breath taking to bathe in. Must visit spot in AP if you're around thirupati, plan accordingly so that you can have a visit when you plan for thirupati.

Best place to visit with family and friends. Good to visit during monsoon season. You can bath there. Please get an extra pair of clothes. No food available, better to get a parcel and have it beside the water. Beware of monkeys. Overall excellent and must visit

Must visiting places. It is suitable for both Family and friend. Best time is I think 11am - 1pm because after this time the water chillness is very high like freezer water. We are reach fall at 2.30 that is chillness is high that why I suggested this time.

The waterfall was a hidden gem, nestled amidst the lush greenery of the forest. The journey to the falls was an adventure in itself, with aย 20-minute walkย through the woods. The anticipation of what lay ahead made the walk all the more exciting. The falls were divided into two parts, each with its own unique charm. The first part was a sight to behold, with water cascading down the rocks in a mesmerizing display. But the real magic lay in the second part, where the falls were bigger and more majestic. To get there, we had to trek for anotherย 15 minutes. But the effort was worth it, as the view was simply breathtaking. However, the parking situation was a bit of a hassle. The area was teeming withย mischievous monkeysย who were more than happy to check out our bikes and make them dirty. So, beware of these little rascals! Also, keep in mind that the falls are open only untilย 4 pm. So, plan your visit accordingly. Overall, the waterfall was a delightful experience that left us feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. Itโ€™s a must-visit for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life and immerse themselves in natureโ€™s beauty

Awesome experience overall, easy trek of 1to 2km inside the forest to reach this beautiful waterfall. You can trek upto top of the waterfall but be careful while climbing on rocks near water fall it's too slippery. In rainy season water flow will be more.but still you can enjoy in the falls.

The water hits your body like a million little needles falling from that height - Magical little place on this Earth What a god amazing place this is, Forget going anywhere outside India Such a beautiful creation of mother nature over thousands of years of time frozen in this hidden little gem. I swam here for hours together. No crowd what so ever when we went there, the sun was warm and nice. The water was cold and refreshing for a nice swim. Do not miss this of you are on Andra Pradesh. Worth spending the whole day here with your family or friends - Stay Clean and Safe But please don't dirty the place and throw garbage everywhere.....Mother earth won't forgive you for this.

Talakona Waterfalls is one of the beautiful waterfalls in India and also it is a famous tourist spot in Andhra Pradesh which is located at Chittor district and it is also near to the famous devotional pilgrim Tirumala. The beauty of waterfalls is awesome and the glow of water is continuous around all the seasons and more in rainy and winter seasons. The hill station and the waterfall environment makes you feel surprised and amazing. The roadway where we pass through the dense forests is very pleasant and makes you feel that you are in Amazon forests. The greenery and the tall trees and their medicinal values make you feel pleasant and peaceful. There is a distance of nearly 2 to 3 kilometres we will walk in the deep forest where we can hear pleasant birds sounds and some rare birds also we can see. One of the best tourist spots and waterfalls in Andhra Pradesh.

One of the best Waterfall I have visited. You should trek for around 1 to 2 kms to reach the top. Half of the way is flat and other half of the way is steep and slippery so one should be careful while climbing up. Though We went on weekend there were no crowd.entry fee will be collected . Parking facility is available. You will not be having any food options in the top of the waterfall but food are available in the down where you will be parking your vehicle

Worst and dangerous waterfalls. Have to walk for one km in hilly area with lots of monkeys ready to attack. After reaching falls also no proper way to reach water place. Have to climb trees and rocks. If anyone got injured in falls, no-one can can't help. No phone network will cover that area. Not suitable for family people. It may be called as Suicide falls. No cleanliness. Totally disappointed โ˜น๏ธ.

Best place to visit who liked the natural and waterfalls, it's a devotion attraction too. It's open in the morning at 8:00 AM clock to 4:00PM, the ticket price is 30 for a person. From the Entrances you can drive your own vehicle at a certain distance, from there you can walk a certain distance to see the beauty of the waterfall. You have safari at a certain distance for needed ones. Please carry water bottles and food, you don't find any shop after entrance. There are 3-4 hotel stays are available near the waterfalls entrance cheap and best, there prepare you food what you needed. Cellphone signal are very low. Note:- natural give beautiful sites to watch and enjoy, so, please keep it clean and unpolluted for the next generation....

Definitely worth varma.... We started by bikes from kadapa.. Unfortunately messed up with the google maps...we choosed the nearest way which covers the village approx 130 km. Coming to water falls..its amazing. You need to park the vehicle at the entrance which is 1km away from the waterfalls. You need to walk to waterfall... Better to bring few clothes after getting into water to change..... Be safe the rocks are so slippery. Note :Beware of monkey's

The place is amidst a reserve forest area. The fall is easily accessible and no trekking is required as such. The first free fall of water from top is about 70 feet and If you take a bath there water hits you like arrows... an awesome experience. After the first free fall it turns into a cascade. Water volume is decent from November to Jan-Feb Mid.

Still, the water flowed far too freely. It's a great place to go with your friends. Keep no food or other items in your bikes because there are many monkeys will look for food; if there isn't any, your seats will be yearning. Attempt to park your vehicle safely. The route from Chennai to Talakona was particularly bad, with numerous potholes and damage to the highways, so be cautious when riding your motorcycle.

Waterfalls are spectacular and the surrounding location is a absolute visual treat. We need to walk 500m to reach the waterfalls area from the car/bike point. There is no fence through the path at some places, we should be vigilant especially when going with kids. Water was very clean and cold, we visited in January.

Went on a trek to top of the talakona falls and enjoyed another falls in silence and with best view. You can book rooms in TTD HOTEL. They charge โ‚น300 per room per night. 3 memers can stay in a room. Room is good and decent and worth it.. Not much restaurant is nearby but we can get good food in available restaurant itself..

Marvelous place if you go with friends and also a dangerous place. I gave 2 star only because there're no safety precautions. The rocks are too slippery and tough. You need to be extra cautious. Avoid children and parents. Go there and enjoy only if you're young and strong. But be very careful

A cascading symphony of liquid grace, the waterfall dances down the rugged terrain, glistening in the sunlight. Nature's artwork, it weaves serenity into the surrounding landscape, a testament to the enchanting beauty of untouched wilderness. We ordered food with country chicken beforehand at the entrance. After bath you will be tired and that hot meal will be a treat to the trip.

A good place to hangout for a day. One should reach early before 12noon so you will get a good time to spend there, the falls get closed by 4PM. Very slippery rocks and dangerous be very careful while swimming and diving. There is a short Trek of about 1.5km to reach from the parking point.

It is an amazing place to visit with family & friends. Do visit temple & then go for a small Trek for 1-2 kms & you reach the waterfall. Be careful when you get in the water as there are stones and rocks & it is very slippery so you may get hurt. For better experience visit in weekdays as in weekends it's very crowded. There is no changing rooms in that place. That is major problem for women.

The road from Tirupati to talakona is good and only for very short intervals is it broken in places. Overall a beautiful drive. Typical of every Indian place the place is littered with plastic and the people who visit apparently love plastic more than the nature at display. Scenery is breathtakingly beautiful and one feels at peace being close to nature. There are two checkpoints , one of forest department which take a toll fees, the other one at the entrance of the waterfalls. I wish the staff would impose a strict penalty on littering but they won't and we indians won't improve. The place has no entry after 4 pm in the evening due to safety reasons. A hidden gem and a beautiful getaway ruined by people littering.

Government of Andhraprabdesh is neglected the tourism spot.Appeal to Government: Two line Road with Road diveder ( solar lights), side drains from entrance gate to water falls.Remove old retaing pipe grill and replace it with new stainless or Mild steel pipe grills.Arrange the stone flooringat view point. With the help of forest department, a lot of amenities to be provied.
