Excellent
facility
in
Pilani
for
Shooting
sports
of
10meter
Air
Rifle
and
Pistol.
Pilani
being
a
small
town,
getting
its
own
shooting
arena
was
unimaginable
in
this
world.
But,
hats
off
to
Mr.
Mahendra
Dudi
for
establishing
an
outstanding
facility
for
shooting
sports
with
best
equipments
and
shooting
arena
in
Pilani.
The
owner
and
coach
of
this
academy
is
a
certified
coach
of
international
standards,
a
medalist
himself,
and
has
worked
with
ace
shooters
and
olympians
like
Gagan
Narang.
Coach
Dudi
has
a
setup
of
excellent
rifles
and
pistols,
all
imported
from
foreign
countries.
The
shooting
arena
is
well
illuminated
as
per
standards,
with
no
air
draft;
and
motorised
alleys
are
setup
for
target
pracrice.
Students
are
equipped
with
proper
uniforms,
protective
equipements
and
various
other
gears
for
shooting.
Appropriate
exercises,
warmups,
yoga
and
cool
downs
are
also
coached
by
Mr.
Dudi.
Coach
offers
well
detailed
trials
for
3
days
to
find
the
shooting
potential
within
a
candidate.
Later
upon
selection,
Fees
is
decided
based
on
the
program
and
duration.
Such
a
facility
was
not
available
anywhere
within
a
150
to
200
kms
radius
of
Pilani.
The
nearest
Shooting
range
was
either
in
Sikar,
Jaipur
or
Hisar.
But
now,
this
Academy,
covers
the
whole
of
Shekhawati
region
and
students
from
even
far
away
places
are
coming
to
Pilani
for
practice.
Recently
multiple
batches
of
students
of
Thar
academy
have
been
selected
in
National
level
teams.
The
day
is
not
far
when
international
champions
and
Olympians
will
hail
from
Thar
Shooting
Sports
Academy
of
PILANI.
A
must
visit
thing
for
any
shooting
aspirants,
and
specially
for
kids
and
youth
to
start
this
sport
at
a
young
age.
