A purposeful fraud from owner. The owner posts lake view room while booking online. On arrival he demands extra money for lake view. Could easily get another hotel with lake view at this price. Also worst room service.

Amazing stay with the amazing view. They've given us 2 interconnected rooms with private terrace which made it more fun. The host was very friendly & staff were very supportive. Rooms were very clean with amazing view. The food at the rooftop restaurant is okayish bit overall highly recommended.

Totally cheating. On an online platform it is posted a lake view photo. When you visited he demanded an extra 590 rs per room. Agoda customer care also not responding on time. No parking place. The hotel has only 2 proper lake view rooms. The guy sells all the rooms by posting photos of that. Also service is the worst. Can easily get more cost effective and good hotels at this price.

Great location if you're into views of Pichola lake and surroundings , old city etc. The staff and owners are really kind and do their best to make one comfortable. Restaurant has a stunning view and bit pricey but delicious food made by seasoned cooks. Maintenance and upkeep is excellent.

Lovely and comfortable We had a lovely 3-night stay at Jaiwanna Haveli. We had great views on Lake Pichola from our 3rd floor room, which was pleasant, comfortable, and clean. We had no issues with the small yet functional bathroom. A suggestion for light sleepers: earplugs and eye mask would be handy but don’t forget to remove them to enjoy the lovely aarti music coming from the temple across the waters. The staff was lovely, helpful and kind. Upon arrival, Irshad promptly provided us with local map, local visit recommendations, and personal attention, while the staff took our luggage upstairs. Breakfast was included and we really enjoyed the masala omelets, cut fruit bowls, toast and parathas; the coffee is prepared with milk as typical and you can ask for extra strength if necessary. We received excellent service from Lalu amd the kit hen staff (shukrya!). Last but not least, both day and night staff were very kind and helpful. Harsh was very interesting to chat with and he was helpful to us and other customers with logistic arrangements. The roof top restaurant serves vegetarian-only food, beer, and gin and tonics. Also, for variety, we popped over to the rooftop bar and restaurant across the alley, the Natural View bar and restaurant. A helpful tip: for chilling on rooftops in the evenings use mosquito repellant spray or ask for the repellent β€˜incense’ sticks. Overall a great stay and we would not hesitate to return!

Comfortable place right in the city center. Major attraction within touching distance. Clean bathrooms most important when you travel. Ganesh chaturthi pandals blocked our route while reaching the hotel. it's extremely busy around festive period. Reaching the hotel can be challenging but there are government run parking spots where we can park easily. Staff was polite friendly helped us with a map and gave us orientation.

An amazing place to stay. Very romantic and reasonable price nd beautiful location. Please note that there is no lift but the boys help u to pick up the luggage. Staff very kind and helpful. The place is very neat and mostly I liked their discipline in everything. Top notch hospitality. The restaurant food is also good. Waiter, Mr. GOPAL was very respectful and considerate. Over all a 5star stay.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel! The room was impeccably clean and comfortable, and the hospitality was top-notch. Harsha, the owner, went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. The stunning lake view from the room added an extra touch of tranquility to our experience. Highly recommend!

The most economical and logical place to stay for couples/families/youngsters. If you are looking for Cleanliness, friendly staff, accessibility, location then this is the place for you. I would recommend calling the owner to book the room if you are concerned about view from your room. If you are travelling with someone who can’t climb stairs, please check with the owner once. Two wheelers can easily be parked, limited place for 4wheeler parking. Best not to get 4 wheeler in Udaipur since it has narrow lanes which becomes very difficult to navigate.

Well maintained rooms with great location. Rooms has all basic utilities and were working. We had 2 rooms and those were connected which was nice. We had kind of private terrace which was amazing. I put service and location as bit less because for service i think host needs to improve. Basic things like water bottle or towels we were to ask. Location is very much in heart of city which makes difficult if you have lot of bags and all. Location has both advantages and disadvantages as well depending on your choice you can decide. All shops , restaurants , attraction are on walking distance.

I would never recommend staying here because of a lot of reasons. First off, their prices are extremely high and variable based on location and compared to other hotels in the area. We did an online booking where we got an outrageous price. The hotel food that we ate was not good at all. Seemed like we were served almost stale food. Hot water was also a big problem. We called the reception at least 4 to 5 times and still we were not able to get hot water for everyone.

Hotel staff were extremely helpful, ambience was awesome, rooms and bathroom were clean. I ended up driving a car to old city, which I totally advise against, and it was tough to maneuver in the narrow gully roads. They were kind to guide us to get through the roads easily. Best part was the rooftop restaurant with a wonderful view of the lake and the city palace.

Stay at Jaiwana Haveli was a beautiful experience. The rooms were clean, spacious, and the amenities provided were awesome. There was a beautiful views of the lake pichola. The restaurant was also fantastic and offered a great selection of delicious cuisine with lake view. The host was very friendly and helpful, and went above and beyond to make sure my stay was comfortable. I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a comfortable stay with great food and beautiful views. "..Thank you for making my weekend so memorable..!"

Clean rooms, friendly staff, fantastic view (night and day). Harsh travel tips are good and come in handy... Nice breakfast .. walkable distance to major tourist spots.. cons are two - no four wheeler is allowed to reach hotel except 12-5 am ... secondly lots of stairs to climb to reach rooms and restaurant.

Stay at Jaiwana Haveli was a wonderful experience. The rooms were clean, spacious, and had beautiful views of the lake pichola. The restaurant on-site was also fantastic and offered a great selection of delicious cuisine with a beautiful lake view. The host Harsh was very friendly and helpful, and went above and beyond to make sure my stay was comfortable. I would highly recommend this guest house for anyone looking for a comfortable stay with great food and beautiful views. Thank you for a memorable stay!" Note : Recommended to park own car in govt parking facility as the lanes toward the property is very narrow.

We booked a lake facing room & were heaven with the views. The rooms have all the basic amenities & homely dΓ©cor. All the staff are polite and very helpful. The property has a super relaxed vibe, one can just spend the entire day just relaxing and soaking in the peaceful vibes. Would definitely recommend Jaiwana Haveli for it's super convenient location, immaculate rooms, great views and a perfect host :)

I heard so much good about this Haveli so decided to stay for 2 days. Booked 2 rooms. Service: Great Staff: helpful, responsive Room: good space, but a blanket, bed sheets, and pillows were not cleaned properly. They had a stain on them and a bad smell. You will get a TV, heater, AC, and warm-cold water. The TV was not working. You can not reach to this location by car, you have to hire an auto rickshaw. You can ask Haveli for help. The view is amazing from this property. The restaurant is upstairs.

Pros: Nice and clean rooms. Courteous Staff. Very convenient location for sightseeing. Cons: The restaurant is at the top floor since, it's an old Haveli- one needs to climb the stairs. It might be difficult for people having knee / joint pain.

Expect view from the rooftop there is nothing which we can appreciate regarding this hotel. If you have lunch or dinner over there , be ready with medicine to cure your stomachache. Please carry water with you because they don't serve water to you in your room.

We stayed here for just one day. Lake view from hotel is good. Food was pathetic. We all got food poisoning. It was like that we were served stalled food. 1 star is only for Lake view.

I had booked this hotel online for lake view rooms. But on arrival the rooms with simple view were provided. Owner argued unnecessary and demanded more money. Also no room service were provided. Terrace rooftop view was good but else its worth nothing. Difficulty to locate parking. Owner doesn't receive call after trying multiple times.

  • 3/5 nitish n. 2 years ago on Google
The hotel is clean and the owners are very friendly and the hotel is within walking distance from city palace and Jagdish mandir. But the cons are that the way to the hotel is very congested and there is no parking facility available so you will have to shell out extra 200 per day for parking. Also as strange as it may sound their was no jet-spray in the washroom. The view from the rooftop restaurant is the attraction here as one gets a good view of the lake from there.

  • 5/5 Chetan J. 2 years ago on Google
Very nice hotel. Awesome stay. Very neat and clean rooms, spotless linens, nice view of the lake. Staff is helpful, courteous . Terrace Restaurant is nice to spend time. Food option are wide and quality and taste is very good though a bit overpriced. Complimentary breakfast is sumptuous and satisfying. Location is near the city palace. Would definitely like to visit again.

  • 2/5 Joost L. 4 months ago on Google
The hotel is in the old city, which means that there is a lot of dogs barking at night. Hotel is relatively noisy and we could hear dogs/neighbours almost all night. TV wasn't working, but worse electricity and adapters weren't always working; not ideal if you need your phone to charge the day before traveling. All in all two stars because the location is close to all the top sights and for that it deserves more than just one star.

  • 4/5 Susmit N. 2 years ago on Google
Good service. Great view of the lake but direct booking is required for getting such rooms. Food is expensive in the rooftop restaurant. Complimentary breakfast is worth trying to enjoy a lakeside meal.

Stayed at this property for 2 days. It was a wonderful experience. Rooms & Interiors are well maintained and clean. Rooftop restaurant is pleasant & has excellent views Big shout out to Yash & Irshad. They are such experts in hospitality that made us feel like we are at home! They are always ready to cater to us for anything & everything. There is an in-house Auto person named Aslam, do ask for him to roam in & around the city. He knows a lot of spots & activities and charges reasonably.

Its a fantastic hotel with all the basic facilities near lake Pichola. As the name suggests Haveli, u will find traditional and historical touch there.. since its in old city, u have to park ur vehicle around 1 km away as lanes are not broad enough but u will auto rickshaw easily to reach at destination.. USP of the hotel is Mr. Harsh, he is soft spoken and friendly guy.. he assist u in best possible way.. we reached hotel in morning and he helped us with early check in basis availability.. all the major attractions are nearby even at walking distance...

Beautifully renovated, centrally located Haveli. Set in the winding narrow streets of Old city, it is accessible only by auto. The room allotted was spacious, had all the amenities and a great view of the lake as a bonus! I'd booked room+breakfast, the food was delicious with generous portions. Recommended stay for all travellers.

On suggestion of our Airbnb host, we came here to have our dinner. They served fabulous food at very pocket friendly price. This is the only place in entire Udaipur, where we had delicious food without overpaying! Kudos to them for not looting the customers. Not just the food, the view was great too! Highly recommend this place !

I like everything about this hotel. The behaviour of the staff is very calm and welcoming. The check-in & check-out process was smooth. The room were clean and well equipped with all the basic amenities. The location was perfect, had full view of lake during dinner. Overall it’s a very wonderful experience.

First of all the location is prime near lake pichola. U will find everything on walk-in distance. I booked corner room for perfect view but it was occupied when we reached which was unexpected. However we got alternate room having front facing lake view so we had to continue. Prefer 3rd floor corner room or front facing rooms to lake while booking. Owner/manager is really nice. Find nob on google and book directly rather searching third party apps

Amazing hotel in the centre of the old city of Udaipur. The decor and rooms are beautifully appointed with fantastic views over the lake. The staff are very helpful and made sure our stay was perfect. The hotel breakfast was excellent as was the food from the restaurant which are both served on a beautiful roof terrace with stunning views. Thanks for having us.

Everything was fine whether it's rooms or the pricing. Considering the tariff, the rooms are value for money and the location is fantastic if we consider the lake side view. Mr. Harsh was handling the place and was there to manage every thing and his team was really quick at our service. One can consider this place the stay while visiting Udaipur.

Rooms are a bit small and the hotel is definitely understaffed, but the staff is the best behaved I've seen in my travels across India, especially the owner. The food is truly excellent and the prices are very reasonable. The location of the hotel is also exquisite and the view is mesmerizing.

The best hotel I have ever been privilaged enough to stay at. Gorgeous building and it only gets more breathtaking when you walk in. Walking distance to everything downtown. Beautiful rooms with the lake facing view , great ambience in the hotel rooftop restaurant. Thank you Mr. Harshvardhan and team for the lovely stay. Soon you soon. :)

Had a nice stay at Jaiwana Haveli. Udaipur was overbooked for the New Year hence the room was almost double the price I would have paid compared to the amenities. Overall a pleasant experience.

  • 2/5 Nagesh J. 1 year ago on Google
Experience at Jaiwana Haveli Although the view from my room was worth, here are some points due to which I couldn’t enjoy my stay here. 1. We were traveling as a family but had to settle on one room on the ground floor and the other on 3rd due to unavailability of elevator. It’s hard to imagine a hotel without an elevator and it was no where mentioned while booking. 2. The TV wasn’t working and we were told to leave our room key at the reception as technician was going to come to repair the TV.However no one turned up and we only got excuses. 3. There was no discount provided even after downgrading our room and settling on ground floor. 4. We were asked to complete the full payment before even entering our rooms. All my life I have never experienced a policy where full payment is expected before the stay itself.

Jaiwana Haveli is a beautiful place to stay. The best part was their hospitality. We were given a brief explanation of the space around using a map which was super helpful to decide on places to visit and activities to try out. The staff, rooms, interiors is pretty and would recommended this place to stay if you visit Udaipur.

I got the top most room with a lake view, the room was spacious. The staff are super warm and helpful. The owner gave us a upgrade without charging extra. The place is close to the old city and all tourist spots. They have a great lake facing resturant, they serve the best poha. Overall it was a great experience staying here and super convinent.

I have heard a lot about this Haveli on travel shows. The service was excellent as they staff was very prompt and helpful. The rooms are a little small but very cosy. I had a little issue with the AC however it was promptly addressed by the hotel staff. The view was mesmerizing and the food was great. Will definitely visit again.
