👍👍 Great experience in 3d show with latest technology. But i this is a animated show of 30min for 120rs. In this show you only know about why North and South pole have 6 months day and another 6 night. And also get some knowledge about other planet like mass Saturn. Viewing experience is really awesome... People often mention show, kids,

India's first 3D planetarium at Howrah. Howrah Taramondol. Nice place. Best place for students. RS 120 for everyone and RS 70 only for students.

Nice place.... Magnificent atmosphere.... The 3D show is amazing... The 3D glasses are also great ... Inside is decorated nicely.... There are 4 shows available.... It is very good place to bring kids.... But for adults it may look slightly boring.... May be more information should be included in the show..... Overall experience is really amazing..... You can enjoy the place....

Nice place - specially for kids. 3d show is really entertaining. We saw a 30 min film named "Polaris" which was full of science info in simple way suitable for kids to understand. Some 3d effects were really exciting. Dome screen with higher degree of visibility makes it really special. Shows are available in bengali, Hindi and english in different timings. Tuesday closed. Car parking available for max 3-4 cars. Small flower garden is there with great variety of flowers.

This place is best for kids ageing 3 years and above as the show is cartoon type, so teenagers and youngsters may not like it, but you can visit with your children. It's a student friendly place as well as school students also get a special discount on tickets if school identity card is provided on the counter. Language of show depends on different time slots ( may change later). Overall a good place to visit with kids and toddlers.

Nice experience at Howrah 3-D Planetarium, first such planetarium in India... Wel-curated show, suitable for kids. Entry fee ₹120 per person; for students, it's ₹70 per person.

I visited howrah planetarium few days ago. It was a big disappointment for me. I went their with my 13 yrs old son to learn about the planets and stars. But what we actually got is a 3D cartoon show. Which is sutable for the 5 yrs old kids. For my opinion it should be mentioned clearly that it just a 3D show for the toddlers only. Apart from that tthe location is good. Although the metro rail work in progress the location sems very convenient. The hall is small but comfortable. The chairs are also good. The staffs are very cooperative. The quality of the 3D glasses are also much better than the multiplex movie halls. So if you are going with your kid for entertainment purpose then its a good place for you.
