I consulted Dr. Indranil Chowdhury(Psychiatrist) for anger issue and OCD . But I am not happy with the time provided by the doctor. He was polite. But in my honest opinion , he should spend some more time in taking detailed history before making any diagnosis and prescribing medicine. He did not ask us about the number of anger episodes. I feel that was very improtant to ask. Apart from that , I was not comfortable with the prescription of short acting Benzodiazepines due its addictiveness. Anyway, I hope that he should spend some more amount of time for future patients and have a detailed discussion regarding the issues they are facing.
