I’ve
been
in
India
for
almost
2
weeks
and
I
was
really
craving
Korean
food.
To
preface
this,
I’m
from
the
United
States
and
LA
has
really
good
Korean
food
that
is
actually
comparable
to
food
in
South
Korea
(so
I
know
what
good
Korean
food
is).
We
ordered
Gujeolpan
(royal
edition),
Korean
fried
chicken,
Kimchi
jigae,
beef
bulgogi,
and
pork
dol
sot
bibimbap.
The
food
was
really
good.
I
would
really
like
to
make
a
special
note
that
the
gujeolpan
was
very
unique
and
that
I
haven’t
seen
it
served
at
a
Korean
restaurants
back
in
the
states.
The
Korean
fried
chicken
was
pretty
good
too.
There
was
a
couple
dishes
that
were
slightly
different
from
how
it’s
made
traditionally,
but
I
think
that
is
due
to
the
lack
of
access
to
ingredients
in
India.
For
example,
the
kimchi
jigae
is
normally
thicker
and
is
made
with
tofu,
kimchi,
and
fatter
pork,
but
I
also
like
the
owner’s
version
of
kimchi
jigae.
I,
also,
noticed
that
she
had
papaya
kimchi
(this
is
probably
due
to
the
fact
that
India
does
not
have
Asian
radish).
I
feel
like
the
pricing
wasn’t
bad
at
all
but
that
is
because
back
in
the
states
it
would
be
so
much
more
expensive
to
eat
a
meal
like
this
at
a
Korean
restaurant.
The
owner
was
very
nice
she
explained
all
the
dishes
to
us
and
even
portioned
out
everything
out
for
us.
Some
instances
she
would
even
feed
us,
which
I
thought
was
an
intimate
gesture.
She
is
a
bit
crunched
on
time,
but
I
feel
like
Korean
food
takes
a
lot
of
prep
work
so
I
understand.
One
thing
I
forgot
to
mention
is
that
YOU
NEED
TO
RESERVE
BEFORE
YOU
GO
TO
THE
RESTAURANT.
I
didn’t
know
that
cause
I’m
not
from
the
area,
but
she
doesn’t
have
a
lot
of
manpower
so
she
needs
to
know
in
advance
what
items
you
want
so
she
can
prep
and
have
them
ready
for
you.
You
also
need
to
put
a
down
payment
of
half
of
your
meal
(I
think
this
avoids
last
minute
cancellations).
Overall
I
would
come
back
to
this
restaurant
and
eat
again.
