Kolhapur - Sea Food Serves Kokani sea food. Food quality is good. Especially solkadi was very nice. Their service is very good, owner was so polite and helpful. We tried Surmai Thali here, it was good like homely cooked Kokani food.

Paradise for seafood lovers! Rawas fried surmai was the star dish ! Totally loved the taste and portion. Kismoor is also good and solkadi too. Prices are reasonable. All outdoor seating. Wasn't crowded at lunch time.

Excellent place to experience sea food in Kolhapur. The rates are also very reasonable and the ambience is also decent. Go for seasonal fishes and ask which is a fresh catch. This place will be closed from 3pm to 6pm. Most recommended: Pomfret thali Mutton thali Kombdi vade

Taste is Ok.. but the service is not good.. delay & delay.. they serve me Kolambi Fry after approx 45 to 50 min of my order & thali after 1 hour.. other customers also waiting for long time, 1st wait outside the hotel to get table & later to get ordered food. We ordered Bhakari but they gave Chapati again we waited for 5 to 8 minutes... There are many other good option available @ Kolhapur, where service is also prompt... I will not recommend this at all.. One can go here only when he has time of atleast 2 to 2.5 hour.. all the best to them...

The best place to have seafood in Kolhapur. Both the rava and tawa fry preparations of surmai and prawns are soul satisfying ,simply amazing

Very nice place for sea food. I had surmai thali and it was amazing. I got large sized prawns and they were fresh. Rice and fish curry was very good. Solkadhi is ultimate and unlimited. Overall I rate this place best for taste and price for sea food.. #mhavra #kolhapur #seafood

Visited this restaurant for lunch and enjoyed the seafood. Had ordered fish fry (masala & rawa) out of which masala fry was good but rawa fry was just fish with a coating of rawa & without much seasoning. Crab masala had a flavourful taste, also prawns curry was very good with big prawns and sufficient quantity for 2. Preparations cannot be called 100% authentic but you will love the taste. Pricing is reasonable and not too overpriced. Ambience is okay-ish and is located in a residential area so no specific parking available but can be done across the street on any nearby lane. Overall would rate it 2nd best restaurant for seafood in Kolhapur👍🏻

It is a best stop for a typical malvani fish cuisine ❤️ The ambience here is good. Hotel's service is also best. The fish and other nonveg dishes are tasty. The food here has value for money. I am surely suggesting people to visit this restaurant ✨

Delicious sea food, Surmai Rawa fry and Surmai masala fry both were very nice. Fish curry just gave a perfect feeling of Malavani fish curry. But if you want to taste Chicken thali I would like to suggest that you don't have it here. Specially don't expect Kolhapuri chicken taste here.

Overall food was nice but please ensure you have fresh fishes. Chicken thali was good. They do not have washroom and need to get to near building's common washroom, which is a big drawback. They must have proper washroom of their own. Sumai fish was good in size and was sliced properly but it was fresh. Limited parking on the road.

We had ordered 'vada kombada' and 'chicken thali' and The taste was okayy only. Not worth the hype. You may try fish there. It is famous for that. staff is good, nice customer service.

Food is good with good quantity and taste. Service also is good. The only drawback of this outlet is the location and ambience which doesn't have bathroom, u need to go to the building next door. Just come for food and not for ambience n other facilities. For that try the new location in takala.

This restaurant is located in Tarabai Park nearby Collector office. Actually it's very small restaurant famous for Malvani Fish. But, one can order other menus like chicken thali and Motton Thali too. Talking about food, the food was not that good. Only Fry Fishes and Prawns were good. Otherwise seems like normal ghar ka khana. There is a option of Chapati or Bhakari. But, it took lots of time for Bhakari Thali. Also as the place is small, there is a half an hour waiting period to get the seats.

This has become one of my favourite place for fish this was the first time I have tried fish in my hometown, i was went there with my friends. The experience was amazing, the have the number system because this place is usually busy in week days, price also worth for the food quality, service is also good and about atmosphere they have maintained it amazing, this is one of the best place to come with family, keep the good work, and thank for the kokan experience

Disappointing Experience! Two stars for food quality. No taste of proper malvani cousin. Away from main road, roadside parking,too much crowded,long waiting for table and order. We tried malvani surmai and bangda fish thali but not on mark. Cost of thali was very high rate. Seriously Too much improvement needed!! If you have too much time then visit.

Best Seafood Restaurant in Kolhapur. The ambience is nice, calming lights with clean environment. Prawns Fry is best in town. At first, you will feel like rates are slightly higher than similar restaurants, but it is totally worth when your thali comes im front and you take a bite from it. We tried Surmai & Prawns thali with both Rava & Masala Fry in it. Both were equally good, but i would always prefer Rava fry over Masala anytime at Mhavra. Overall 5 star experience. Must try when you are in Kolhapur.

Best place to eat fish in Kolhapur. We took thali and fish was very good tried prawns as well that is good I say but I mostly eat on sea side never tasted in Kolhapur. Service is good, only I felt the hotel looks little bit old and need renewations.

The housekeeping is good & service is in line with the reputation of the place .Moreover it is situated in a quiet area away from the hustle bustle of the city & as such plenty of parking space on the roads outside .Keep it up Mhavra .
