Located near the Bhaga river, this monastery is nestled amidst lush greenery and picturesque mountains. It will give peace and tranquility to your mind and soul like never before. The monastery has a white building decorated with prayer flags that gives the most positive feeling! This is amongst the best places in Spiti Valley. Buddhist temple are so peaceful and calm place or meditation

One of the best monastery, zero crowd when we visited, calm and very pleasant, we spent around hour, we tied prayer flags and spent time enjoying the beauty n silence around. We trecked down while.coming back which was very exciting as friend showed us local farms and plants,.It was very informative.

You can reach there with around 2-3 hours fast hiking from Keylong. The whole trek has great view. This place is nice and peaceful. People around here are very helpful. There is a shortcuts bridge from Keylong to cross the river. You need to go beside the hospital. Ask the locals and they will help you.

KARDANG monastery is located in front of Keylong the district head quarter of the biggest district of Himachal Pradesh, Lahaul and Spiti. This is a very beautiful monastery of Lahaul and Spiti. Nice destination for the wanderers you can reach there with a very treacherous and rough road. Scenic beauty of snow clad mountains, meandering river Bhaga, tens of hair pin bends of road to SHASHUR monastery and the whole town Keylong is visible from here. One can stay in the monastery on the basis of first come first serve.

Peaceful place, You can spot the entire keylong town along with the lady of Keylong Mountain from the Monastery. One can trek to it from kardang village but there is link road leading up to the Gompa from tandi bridge. Road is treacherous and bit difficult for novice drivers.

This is a nice place to visit...This was the first place that I've visited after been to Keylong...You can see it clearly walking through keylong market....It can be visited through road from "Tandi Pul"...I climbed the mountain straight away...There's a bridge that connects the mountain with Keylong main market....There are no shops at the top and the place above the monastery is also a nice place to give a visit.
