The changes made to the temple are astonishing and I appreciate each and everyone who has been part of this change. I believe a lot more to improve in-terms of security, facilities, information availability. The ticket for car is 500 if you want to park your vehicle on hill, which seemed to be little premium and can be reduced. I loved the place and the architecture inside the temple is yet another marvellous architecture which has to be witnessed.

Such Peaceful place.. Yadagirigutta Temple, also known as Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple, is a popular Hindu temple located in the Yadagirigutta town of Telangana, India. The temple is dedicated to Lord Narasimha, an avatar of Lord Vishnu, who is worshipped in the form of a lion-headed deity. The temple is situated on a hillock known as Yadagiri, hence the name Yadagirigutta. Here are some key features and information about Yadagirigutta Temple: 1. Legend and History: According to mythology, the Yadava dynasty's King Yadavasena performed severe penance to please Lord Narasimha, and the Lord appeared before him and granted a boon. The king requested the Lord to remain on the hill in the form of a deity, protecting and blessing devotees. Thus, the temple came into existence. The temple has a history dating back several centuries and has undergone renovations and expansions over time. 2. Architecture: The temple's architecture is a beautiful blend of Chalukyan and Vijayanagara styles. The main sanctum of the temple houses the deity of Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy, while other shrines within the temple complex include deities of Lord Rama, Lord Shiva, and Goddess Lakshmi. The temple features intricate carvings and sculptures, reflecting the rich craftsmanship of ancient times. 3. Festivals and Celebrations: The temple witnesses numerous festivals and celebrations throughout the year. The Brahmotsavam, celebrated during February-March, is the most important and grand festival of the temple. Other notable festivals include Narasimha Jayanti, Vaikunta Ekadashi, and Karthika Masam. During these festivals, the temple attracts a large number of devotees from all over the country. 4. Importance and Spiritual Significance: Yadagirigutta Temple holds significant spiritual importance for devotees of Lord Narasimha. It is believed that sincere prayers and devotion to Lord Narasimha can help in overcoming fears, obstacles, and negative influences. The temple is considered a powerful place of worship and is believed to bestow blessings and fulfill the desires of its devotees. 5. Facilities and Amenities: The temple authorities have made arrangements to accommodate the needs of the devotees. There are separate queues for men and women to ensure smooth darshan (viewing of the deity). Additionally, amenities such as free drinking water, restrooms, and a large parking area are provided to facilitate the devotees' visit. 6. Location and Accessibility: Yadagirigutta Temple is located approximately 60 kilometers from Hyderabad, the capital city of Telangana. The temple can be reached by road, and regular bus services are available from Hyderabad and nearby towns. The nearest railway station is Raigiri, situated around 13 kilometers away. Hyderabad's Rajiv Gandhi International Airport is the closest airport. Yadagirigutta Temple is not just a place of worship but also a center of cultural and spiritual heritage. It attracts devotees, tourists, and spiritual seekers alike, providing a serene and peaceful environment for spiritual contemplation and devotion.
