    A true hidden beauty of Himachal—a special open meadow and temple surrounded by 🏔 🏔🏔mountains. It is possible to get here via Sainj then continue car/taxi/walk to Shanghar🔱

    Kullu Valley is called the ‘Valley of Gods’ but I had not even heard about this village called Shangarh. Shangchul Mahadev Temple( 6300 FEET) in Sainj Valley. Sangchul Mahadev Blesses especially to them who have been Abandoned by society and shower his blessing to the romantic couples.

    Beautifully located. Calm and peaceful vibe once you reach the temple. The temple is surrounded by beautiful long devdar trees which look very majestic. The forest is magical.

    The temple is located at the height of some 6300 feet in Shangarh meadow, surrounded by lush green trees and serene environment, it gives some breathtaking panoramic views. One should not miss the visit to this place. Entry fee is not there for the temple. The temple has the most impressive artwork with the finest details, carved from wood. It showcases the exquisite architecture. It is believed that couples/lovers who elope from their houses, take shelter here and till the time they are here, they will be away from any danger.
