We have visited Rashtrapati Niwas, which was recently opened for public by Hon'ble Rashtrapti "MurmuJI". This was a great experience to visit a place where almost every President of India lived and worked for some days during summer. There is a beautiful garden having choicest flower plants. Opposite of Rashtrapati Niwas there are two trees which change their color after every 25 days. Nice cool and quit place, a nice guide accompanied us to details all about the place.

Rashtrapati Niwas, also known as the Rashtrapati Bhavan, is the official residence of the President of India. It is an iconic architectural marvel located in Shimla . The grandeur and historical significance of Rashtrapati Niwas make it a symbol of India's democratic heritage Must visit when in shimla staff here is very polite Keep policemens aside they are very rude and arrogant starting from parking and till the time we left . Electric cars drives you till door steps of this historical place view from here is magnificent

It is one of the three Rashtrapati Niwas. It is used as a summer Vacation by our Hon. Rashtrapati. Beautiful architecture. The guide assigned to our group was very professional and had sound knowledge about the history of the place. You can see a village and a mandir placed at a distant location from the binoculars. It takes 30 min to complete the tour of the place. Sundial is situated in the middle of the garden. The most fascinating thing here was a tree which blooms thrice a year with different colours each time. Do ask for your guide about it.

The pristine piece of land and heritage building is open to public since April. We visited the estate and were taken on a guided tour through the premises. We were allowed only through the ground floor of the building, and not to the first floor because those are confidential areas with access for the president and designated staff only. We were taken along the hallway and had to view each room and displays from behind barricades. I can understand the securitised nature of the place. The front lawn and garden were really beautiful with exotic and indigenous flora. We took a stroll through the gardens and existed the premise. In total, it is a 30-min tour.
