Chitkul is the last village of india. at the end of the village there is check post and after 70 I'm far from there China border begins. The Indian people is allowed to ho only till check post not beyond that. Chitkul is 20 km away from sangla village.there is no petrol pump in chitkul . No ATM machine is here so people must go with full of cash and fuel to enjoy intrepputed journey. It has very cold wheather and natural view.

Far from the crowded cities. 8-10 hour drive from Shima. If you are looking for a holiday break in peace with nature, then chitkul is the right place for you. Limited hotel availability, hppwd house is there so you can book through SDM Recong peo. Highly recommended.

There's nothing to this place. It just marks the entrance to the quaint little village with its temples, wooden houses and stockades.

Chitkul If you want complete isolation from the modern luxuries, then Chitkul, located near Indo-China border, is the place for you. It is the β€˜last village of India’ since the Indian roads end here. Those who are looking for tranquillity can book a stay of 2-3 days in Chitkul to soak in the atmosphere. Baspa river flows along the steep roads and makes this place picturesque. πŸ‘Œ

Chitkul- last village at Indo-tibetan border. It is situated near Sangla, Kinnaur district of the state Himachal Pradesh, India. The place is surrounded by snowy mountains and river baspa in between.
