Chitkul (or Chittkul) is a village in Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh. During winters, the place mostly remains covered with the snow and the inhabitants move to lower regions of Himachal.

Gem this is. The road is extremely bad if you drive and want to reach here. There is walking road otherwise. The bridge is beautiful. Offers stunning views of chitkul village with river flowing below and snowcapped mountains on sides. If you have drone, you must capture a shot here. Awesome views.

Chhitkul is a lonely place for the tourists but this bridge on the river Baspa is more lonely having a very nice view of the Baspa river and nearby. One can cross the river and like to be lost in the wilderness of the Himalayas. No car is allowed to reach this place, only one can reach here on foot.

It is a small bridge on the Baspa river, and the views are breathtaking everywhere. It is an amazing feeling to drive along tiny roads and mountains that are all around.

Great views of the towering snow-clad mountains up the Baspa, from the bridge. In winters, the valley on the other side of the bridge is always covered with thick snow and makes for really scenic pictures and videos.

In our Spiti Valley Expedition day 2 i.e on 27th. of June, 2022 we started from Rakchham from our Kinnaur Retreat Hotel & Restaurant where we stayed last night after breakfast and started for Chitkul. On the way the Baspa River was all along our side with beautiful landscape of mountains in backdrop and reached at Chitkul Baspa River Camp where there was Hindustan Ka Aakhri Dhaba and Hindustan ka Aakhri Post Office. From parking area we started trekking downwards to the Chitkul Bridge which was a steep slope. After reaching the bridge we took various photographs and then we went to the riverside crossing the bridge where we also took various photographs and then again came back to the bridge & again after trekking through steep slope we came back to the car parking area.
