I
have
been
to
Vizag
few
times
but
this
was
the
first
time
I
went
to
the
Open
air
auditorium.
I
saw
it
a
lot
of
times
in
a
number
of
iconic
Telugu
movies
so
I
was
super
excited
to
go
there.
Me
and
I
friend
walked
in
with
purpose
so
that
nobody
would
stop
us
or
ask
us
where
we
are
going.
If
u
are
wondering,
it
is
still
a
functioning
building
as
part
of
the
Andhra
University.
The
auditorium
is
in
the
middle
of
the
almost
square
shaped
building
with
open
area
in
between
(I'm
not
equipped
with
architectural
terminology
to
explain
this
better).
There
it
is,
the
magnanimous
stage
in
ruins
after
years
of
neglect
and
the
Hudhud
cyclone
destroyed
it.
It
has
a
character
to
it
that
cannot
be
explained
in
words.
It
must
have
been
a
dream
for
so
many
artists
to
be
on
this
iconic
stage
after
its
inauguration
in
1965.
U
can
still
see
the
ruins,
the
broken
benches
and
imagine
how
it
must
have
looked
in
its
full
glory.
There
are
shrubs
and
almost
trees
growing
out
everywhere.
But
it
is
not
less
endearing
than
it
ever
was.
There
is
an
energy
to
this
place
and
I'm
glad
they
are
renovating
it
now.
If
u
can,
visit
this
place
before
the
renovation
and
after.
