This
church
is
notable
for
its
Friday
devotion
to
the
Sacred
Heart
of
Jesus.
It
has
also
done
a
commendable
job
of
propagating
the
Devotion
to
the
Five
Wounds
and
Veneration
of
the
Dead
Christ.
Itβs
a
relief
to
see
a
Catholic
church
doing
the
right
thing
by
promoting
devotion
to
Christ
instead
of
unduly
emphasising
certain
popular
saints.
The
exterior
is
beautiful
with
its
white
walls,
stained
glass,
and
bronze
angel
statues.
The
tall
statue
of
Jesus
feels
a
little
off
in
terms
of
proportion
and
physiognomy.
The
interior
left
much
to
be
desired.
The
altar
mosaic,
the
wooden
crucifix,
the
statue
of
the
Sacred
Heart,
the
Stations,
and
images
of
the
Five
Wounds
were
beautiful.
However,
the
space
was
cluttered
with
tacky
decorations.
The
terrain
is
inconvenient
to
people
in
handicapped
tricycles
and
those
with
various
physical
disabilities.
The
candle
rack
had
beautiful
deep
red
candles.
I
had
a
nice
time
lighting
them.
The
billboard
with
details
of
Small
Christian
Communities
was
a
great
idea.
Itβs
something
I
might
recommend
to
my
parish.
