We booked Periyar Cabs for Sattram Border Jeep Safari for Rs 2200 and 3.5 hrs Jorney during Dec 2022. Ride includes - Visit to the forest border - Tea plantation View. Our Guide/Driver Mr. Jestin was on time at 5:30 AM and he was so friendly. He took many pictures of us. Pros: - On time Service - 6 star rating to Mr. Jestin (Driver) - Off-road ride experience for hardly 2 to 5kms. Cons: - After starting the Jeep ride, we got to know that we are traveling across the forest border and not inside the jungle. - There is no chance to see wild animals. Conclusion: - If you are planning for a Jungle Safari, then you need to book the safari tickets with KTDC. Only Government vehicles are allowed inside the Jungle. A memorable jungle safari arranged by Periyar Cabs. Our driver Sojesh was a great asset. He explained everything related to the trip on the route to the forest and made great effort to spot every animal we could on our safari. It was a great trip. A great safari covering 5 dams, Thekkady and Gavi forest. A must have experience in Idukki.

His extensive knowledge of the routes, local wildlife was great. His photography skills were exceptional, he clicked lot of really good pictures of us with stunning backdrop of nature which we will cherish for a lifetime. Our jeep safri driver, Mr. Philip was extremely amiable, sincere and helpful. He took us safely deep into the forest and was very helpful in spotting animals and taking beautiful photos of us with the beautiful nature of Angamoozhy. He knew all the spots where animals could be spotted and his driving was also very safe. He was also very good with our kids..... The price for the jeep safari was offered to us at a very reasonable rate by PERIYAR CABS when compared to others.

It was a very good safari experience and Philip is an excellent driver and is very informative and a highly talented photographer. Worth the time spent and highly recommend the place as well as the safari opearator (lookout for the driver Philip too !).

Justin was our driver for the jeep safari. Went as a group of 3 with kid. He took us on an amazing trip. Driving skills were amazing. And the vehicle was fantastically maintained jeep. He drive us to the elpahnat viewing area and luckily we sighted elephants. Along the way and back he stooped where ever there is scenic area and also he let us take pictures with the jeep. Would recommend him highly.

The jeep ride was very pleasant and the forest itself was serene. Dominic (Babu) guided us very well and helped spot a few animals as well. We didn’t have lunch inside the reserve because it wasn’t very appetizing (no good veg option and somewhat unhygienic) but the Masala Dosa breakfast at Mountain View was some of the best dosas we’ve had in Kerala.

Driver Philip was excellent in adventures driving. So much friendly and energetic driver. Made us feel more excited about the trip. Periyar cabs made the whole trip worth. They made us explore all the interior of #Thekkady
