A really interesting place to visit, not only for children but also for adults. The area is pretty clean.Guards are helpful. You will know a lot about Pathani Samanta and different instruments he used, different types of ancient clocks etc. Space shows are shown here which is a wonderful experience. The only thing I hope the planetarium should change are then chairs in the auditorium. They make a lot of noise and not at all comfortable while watching the show.

Nice place to bring children for basic learning about space and astronomy. The latest schedule of the shows are attached. Ticket is fairly priced, Rs. 30 for adult and Rs. 20 for children above 5yrs age and bellow 15 years age. Infrastructure is poorly maintained. Guards were not courteous in their communication, perhaps they are habitual with village like crowd. Inside the planetarium, public were not listening to instructions and were flashing phone during the show in order to capture the video of the show like people do in cinema hall. Show duration is actually 30minutes but duration between shows is 1 hour just to avoid any clashes between start and stop of shows. No proper place for car parking is available, one has to park on the road and wish that their car is not towed by traffic police.

Good for school students and children. No improvement in technology, cinematography, resolution, concept, explanation, and other space research. More can be improved on each of the given points. I couldn't find any difference from what I saw 10 years back and now. But considering the price, the timing is ok.

Nice place to visit. The video playing was nice. Awesome place to bring kids for the development of their scientific temper. The place needs government attention. Models of earth, sun etc are deteriorated. The gallery section was closed during my visit. Hope it will be opened soon. The videos played here are old ones mostly of 2005-2010 time period. New videos with advanced graphics can add charm to scientific beauty.

Watched a show here which is related to solar system. Ticket costs ₹30 for adults and ₹20 for children. Literally was an amazing experience. Respect to the person who started this experiment with sky . It's non other than Pathani samanta chandra sekhar singh mahapatra . He is a jewel of odisha. The environment is good . There is a science park near it. This place is located near Acharya vihar. You can come this place by MO Bus. Wish you a good day if you are reading this and planning to come here. As i visited here during the time of winter vaccines and new year ,i had to wait for 30 to 45 min for tickets.

We visited the place last July 23 and it has been informed that it is closed for the last month. We are not allowed to enter the campus. The campus is large. Details available about the show on the website and that is correct but the condition of the property is not well maintained. Lots of parents return unhappy due to the issues. but there is no update about this on the website. No one to answer when it will resume service.

Was here on 26.12.2023 with family. Due to the holidays, it was too much crowded. Reached there at 4 pm and got the tickets for 6:30 pm show. Most seats inside the auditorium is damaged or broken. Absolute uncomfortable. People were allowed to get into the auditorium even after houseful. Additional people were either standing or sitting on the floor. Mana management was chaotic. Ticket prices could be increased and sitting facilities must be improved. If one doesn’t get a comfortable seat to sit, let whatever you show, he or she won’t enjoy.

Good place to learn about Universe, Solar System etc.. Nice park to relax but most of the things there were broken, for example there were around 2 bars for swinging I presume that were broken. Another rotating thing that was broken. Some statues were not fixed properly etc..They should fix them. A “Regional Museum of Natural History” nearby to learn about animals as well. The planetarium’s screen should be cleaned and the quality should be updated and the the whole screen is also not covered, just around 50% as the projector is behind the audience. The show itself was pretty good.

An informative place for children. A good place for the children as well as the elderly. There are 4 shows per day. Duration is 30 mins. You can move around the place and sit on the beautifully maintained lawns. Washroom is available outside, but it was not clean. Eatables are not allowed inside. You will be asked to switch off your mobile phones before entering. Only major issue is that there is no parking available inside the place. You have to find a suitable place on the road side and walk up to the planetarium.

Good educational place to visit with children, people from other states also come to visit this place. You'll get amazing experience inside the hall during shows. Tickets price for adults/over 15yr old is 30₹ and 20₹ for person under 15yrs old . Phone using isn't allowed inside the hall. So better you keep it switchoff before entering. Btw that's a nice place to handout with.. you'll love it.

One can't resist himself or herself from being in this planetarium if he or she loves the outer space. You can watch various shows here which are associated with some scientific facts as origin of our universe, origin of the solar system, planetary system, cosmic entities, structure of stars and planets, activities in our solar system, etc.

The experience was good but there isn't much to see here except for the video show. The place isn't properly maintained and the few instruments and structures that are there to see are either completely broken or in an unrecognisable condition. Was really disappointed on seeing this. But definitely recommend everyone to go in and watch the show. It's really good.

Nice place but with poor maintenance. Please clean the place so that it can attract more people. One main request to make the show more clear so that kids and layman can understand in a better way and add about planets in the show. My kid was waiting to see the eight planets in the show.
