Good stay. Very old and plush property, but dated now. Needs to be smartly upgraded urgently. Food and services are good. Legacy staff needs to reinvent themselves to be relevant. Not very easy for people with limited mobility to stay and move around, so need to check n plan your stay. Hotel has amazingly pretty gardens and pool areas (including the restaurants) but not accessible on a wheelchair or a kids buggy. Overall good stay for a change.

Amazing stay! Beautiful property with well maintained gardens and rooms. A very royal feel to the whole vibe of the hotel which accurately reflects its name also. Very good options for dinner and a good breakfast buffet. I was highly impressed by the luxury collection cocktails. Would recommend this hotel for a luxury stay in Agra

This property is absolutely breathtaking, boasting impeccable attention to detail and an incredibly courteous staff. The grounds are meticulously maintained and offer an array of stunning features. A must-see is the maze garden, nursery, train engine, lake, and so much more - perfect for a tranquil morning stroll. The rooms are pristine and equipped with all the expected amenities of a luxurious five-star hotel. However, the true highlight of this property lies beyond the guest rooms. The restaurants exude sophistication and the breakfast buffet is a sumptuous delight. For a truly unforgettable experience, be sure to visit the terrace gardens at night. Additionally, the property offers numerous sports and swimming facilities. Overall, I cannot recommend this excellent hotel enough. It is a must-stay for anyone seeking a truly exquisite experience.

ITC Mughal is one the finest properties in Agra & everyone looks forward to stay here once. Property is widely spread, room was sanitized properly & was neat & tidy. They also provide locker on the room, you can keep your passport or valuables safe inside. Food is delicious too, do try mutton pulao. Its too delicious. They serve wide range of buffet breakfast. I am looking forward to stay here again in future.

.A Truly Exceptional Hotel Experience I recently had the pleasure of staying at ITC Mughal, and I must say, it was an absolutely outstanding experience from start to finish. From the moment I stepped foot into the hotel, I was greeted with warm smiles and impeccable service that continued throughout my entire stay. First and foremost, the staff deserves the highest praise. They were not only professional and efficient but also genuinely friendly and attentive. Every request I had was met with a prompt and helpful response, making me feel like a valued guest. The level of personalized service I received was truly remarkable and exceeded my expectations. The hotel itself is a masterpiece of elegance and luxury.

A stunning property with amazing attention to detail, courteous staff, and well-maintained grounds. Highly recommend taking a long morning walk around the property and seeing all the amazing landscaping done - there’s a maze garden, a nursery, a train engine, a lake, and so much more. Rooms are clean and have all the amenities you expect from a five-star; but the highlight of course is everything around it. The restaurants are classy and the morning breakfast buffet is a sumptuous delight. The terrace gardens are also a great place to visit at night, and there are several swimming and sports facilities across the property. Excellent hotel - loved the stay and experience, easy recommend to anyone who can afford it.

Great beautiful property. (Swimming pool, gym, lobby, lawns, entrance)Thumbs up. Reservation staff - good. Security staff-good. Restaurant staff- not very helpful/friendly. (I guess they were looking towards handsome tips and I'm not that kinda person who would pay extra for personalized service. In my belief service is part of their job description)

After reading all the good reviews about this place I booked this hotel for me and my family. Hotel definitely needs renovation from inside. Marble on stairs was chipped off at multiple places. The air conditioner didn’t work in the bedroom but the living room was working. Breakfast variety/taste is just ok. Spa is great but there was no drinking water around sauna and steam room.

Really bad experience. They first offered us a really bad and dingy room. We got the room after a 3 hour delay. Their hotel lift was not working for the entirety of our stay. Overall unhelpful staff. The restaurant staff too was not hotel management students. The food wasn't great. Overall bad experience.

I have recently stayed in this luxury resort and spa. The resort was located in a stunning setting, near the Taj Mahal . The rooms were spacious and luxurious, with all the amenities you could ask for. The service was impeccable, and the staff were always attentive and helpful. The resort had a variety of dining options, from fine dining to casual fare. There was also a spa with a variety of treatments to choose from. I had a wonderful massage that left me feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.

Property is over 40 years old, very well maintained. We had a stay in mughal chambers room category. 1. Room with Extra bedding : its is superbly comfortable , a complete bliss 2. Lunch buffet : there are no starters but they were humble enough to offer us the same. 3. Dinner buffet : options did not change much considering we had lunch buffet, spread was 70-80% the same. I personally did not enjoy them much. 4. Breakfast buffet : i would rate it 5/5, fully satisfied Pool : Property has a decent pool. Smoking area : Separate smoking area - open and room both Bar : Bar is not that big, however it has separate lounge area. They offer tong garden nuts and bingo wafers for snacks This property has ~233 rooms. Dining area is humongous

Would have given a 3 star. The hospitality was great and so giving a 4. I am probably comparing Chennai ITC Grand Chola food to this one. But anyways, I didn't like the food much. My wife also did not like the food. Rooms are of reasonable size and comfortable. This is a good place for offices to plan an off-site trip for the employees. Lots of outdoor activities to be done and when you go as a group it will be good.

Not impressed with this apparently luxury hotel. The place is old and the room we got was almost basement-like, and therefore very musty and damp. The smell felt unhealthy. When we mentioned it, they just got housekeeping to spray some room freshener, which doesn't remove the issue of breathing in the musty air. Also, we could hear everything from the rooms - at one point we were subjected to 3 hours of screaming kids and someone possibly dragging around some furniture. It was awful. The view of the Taj Mahal is just a small pigeon-filled outpost (not a terrace or anything). The restaurant served a lot of frozen fried food (like fish sticks and spring rolls), which doesn't warrant the price. The grounds were nice with lots of gardens and it was fun to see the monkeys playing around, but the rest of the facilities weren't great. We won't be coming back here. The 3 stars is just for the service as the restaurant and housekeeping staff were phenomenal.

It's one of those hotels that are built not only to be comfortable but also to look amazing. As we were previously staying in ITC Jaipur, the staff was already informed that we were coming, so we didn't need to do a lot of paperwork. They were the most welcoming personel we have met. Hotel looks fabulous, Peshawari restaurant is fantastic, everybody treats you as if you are special. Breakfast is delicious with wide variety of Indian and western food.

It was a very pleasant stay. We had a great time at the property and definitely recommend for a family vacation. The only thing that I wish was different was an extra bed arrangement in our suite. They just put a sheet on a sofa bed, which had really hard surface and not at all comfortable for sleeping at night. A separate mattress would be better or a layer of soft bedding on top work too. Dine in service was on point, breakfast spread was quite good. Staff was very welcoming and courteous.

impressed by their signature dish, the 'Savory Symphony,' which combined flavors in a way I had never tasted before. The whole place was freezing...you just could not sit anywhere comfortably without the AC blasting... lobby, bar and even the rooms and the only thanks was you could control the room temperature. Everything was simply awesome, friendly service, yummy food and attention to details.. Great stay overall. We had a very good guide to take us to the Taj Mahal too.

From the moment you step onto the property, you're enveloped in a serene ambiance that instantly melts away stress. The stunning accommodations, coupled with breathtaking views, create a tranquil oasis that's hard to leave. The spa treatments are a divine indulgence, leaving you rejuvenated and pampered. The rooms are well maintained and clean. Hotel staff is very cooperative and soft spoken. Swimming pool add up to the beauty of the hotel. Visit to the hotel gave me a luxurious feeling and made my trip wonderful. If you want to stay in beauty of nature than you should surely stay at this beautiful place.

It is not a baby friendly hotel. Our room washroom had water logging issue due to bad design of wash basin. To fix this plumber came twice but no help. We have a infant with us and needed to use washroom frequently. The washroom had mosquito problem as well. They were suggested pesticide usage which is unsafe for our baby. They suggested other room too but the room was not appealing to us. They also do not have lifts for people in need of lift to go to room and we had to carry stroller etc via stairs. Overall I would not recommend it especially with kids The only fine thing was food. The hotel didn’t even ask the purpose of our visit like other 5 star hotels, we came there to celebrate our 3 month baby birthday. The ambience was good and one of the pool was closed.,

Booked this property for our customer. The entire reservation process was smooth and proved to be a seamless experience. Special mention must be made of their online booking page which offers an elaborate list of options (add-ons) to choose for each room. Kudos to the entire team !

I’m biased after coming from the Imperial Delhi. Decent experience overall. Food and service are average, rooms are actually decent - comfortable and clean. If you’re on a family trip, this a great spot. Couples/romantic trip, splurge for the Oberoi.

Stayed in this beautiful hotel in Oct. It's not too far from the Taj. The staff are very friendly and the breakfast was good. Two let downs the spa is very expensive which is a shame as I was really looking forward to using the facilities. The second issue was a member of the house keeping staff. I had medication which came in a silver foil wrapping. I had a paper clip holding it closed as I have to use a certain portion each day. I noticed it wasn't closed as I close it i.e. the paper clip wasn't put back like I left it. So someone decided to be nosey!!! Beware, who knows what else they looked through!!!

I paid more than what I experienced in return. Payed 9 grands for one night yet the hotel lacks in basic amenities as cable network on TV and delivering the room service of basic water bottle on time. The staff members at reception need to work in pro active to cater to the experience the guests are promised at the time of booking. The property is beautiful but it's good to replace the word "luxury" from the stay.

Great hotel! We had a beautiful room! Breakfast was delicious and the Buffett had lots of options. The staff was great, very friendly and helpful. The bar tender was a very nice man that took his time to give us advise on what to do and see. The concierge, actually two people, a man and woman, I forgot their names, went the extra mile to make sure we had anything we needed. I would stay here again without hesitation.

The hotel is nice, inside is better than outside. Breakfast was good, but lunch and dinner from the buffet are not. Not that much Indian food selection, and the were always playing the same small set of American instrumental elevator music.

We were in Agra only for a day and chose to stay at ITC Mughal. Our experience was wonderful – the hotel is beautiful, we spent a lot of our time in the pool, the breakfast buffet was excellent, the restaurants in the hotels were also amazing and very accommodating to our needs. Our only problem was that we reached the hotel around 9 AM and their usual checkin time is 3 PM. We were still given a room by 1 PM but had to wait quite a bit.

We had 2 Mughal chamber rooms booked for 2 nights recently. It turns out that some of the rooms have been renovated while some haven’t yet. We were initially checked in to the older rooms. I expressed our disappointment to the duty manager Neelesh as the rooms were not at all to the level of a 5 star hotel. Eventually we were offered alternatives (higher category rooms) which we accepted and moved into. The rooms were really good but what stood out for us was the level of hospitality and the buffet spread. It made our stay memorable!

  • 5/5 Shubham S. 1 year ago on Google
The rooms are good, maintained clean. The staff is very polite and helpful. The food is great. The decor and landscaping is wonderful. The amenities are more than sufficient. All in all, it's near perfect. :)

The staff here was absolutely kind and helpful. The food and drinks were delicious and safe. The pool and spa were a delight. The rooms were nice and quite, especially from the city noises. Yet the location was close to many tourist attractions. I wish we could have stayed longer!

5 minutes and 20 seconds of torture. I will give a great review on another account, this hotel is lovely. HOWEVER... In the restaurant and through out different speakers in the garden, management play the same song on a loop. It sounds like a cellphone ring tone and ruins the ambience. Absolutely grating on the ears. The poor staff have to listen it on loop throughout their shift, for more than 40 hours a week. I am honestly concerned about their mental health! Which ever manager chose the song should be fired and forced to listen to it for on loop for a month as punishment. PLEASE for the sake of your staff change the music, there are many license free songs to pick instead. There is no excuse to subject your staff to this, it is cruel!

Little expensive. It is well maintained but the meals are not up to the mark. Also had to ask for basic stuff like brush, toothpaste, soap etc in bathroom. As it was not there. Also, the coffee pouches were very old. Weird taste when we drank it. Should have been better if they would have provided these basic things.

Outstanding location minutes from the Taj Mahal, exceptionally courteous and helpful staff. Beautiful common spaces. We had someone in our group with a serious dairy allergy, and the staff were gracious and careful in helping with safe food selections. We enjoy Indian flavors but don't know enough about Indian food, and the staff at breakfast helped us find and get prepared some very tasty dishes. The rooms were well appointed consistent with 3-4 star classification.

Beautiful property , grand entrance and lovely lush gardens .. lots of spots to take Insta pics . we stayed here for 3 days and 4 nights with extended family . We took a few rooms . Pros : it’s very grand and has a mix of Royal Mughal grandeur and colonial charm . Excellent service at the dining hall and house keeping . Very attentive and caring . Cons : rooms and bathrooms are old so the fittings feel a bit rickety. Also the views from the rooms are not all equal and some what Disappointing. The bathrooms only have tubs with showers over them , so one has to be very careful ( specially with senior parents ) while getting in and out .

We went there to attend marriage. Hotel is amazing. Location is perfect. Unfortunately, there is metro construction going on in front of the hotel, so there is a lot of dust. Food quality is superb. Room service is good. Although hotel is old but its very well maintained. It's quite close to Taj Mahal. There is a lots of greenery and water bodies inside the property. Valet parking service was good but due to too many guests it was little crowded.

It was a pleasant experience staying at ITC Mughal. Rooms are clean. Service is quite good. Food is delicious. Environment is close to nature with artistic and nature like landscaping, fountains, lawns etc. Indoor halls with high ceilings give a feel of grandeour. Central air-conditioning is a bit on cooler side.

ITC Mughal... Definitely worth staying in this Luxury Resort. Absolutely fabulous and stunning in every way. The rooms and bath were excellent. Beyond the imagination of luxury. So, thoughtfully designed and architecture. The rooms are very spacious and clean. Went as family of wife and daughter. All of us had a very enjoyable time, especially my daughter. She had a very nice time. The staff were very very helpful, kind and very courteous. The food was excellent. The spa was magnificent. Me and my wife had a very very excellent time in the spa, away from our usual busy schedules. The very nice way to unwind from our maddening busy days. We have vowed to come again once in 2 or 3 months to unwind in this very beautiful resort.
