Everything about this place exists like magic. Be it the look and feel of the place, the energy of the people who walk in, or the thoughts that enter your mind, while you spend a portion of your lifetime, in this place. Time spent here can only remind one of all the times when one would enter somewhere and then forgot why they were even there in the first place. Or maybe it's the company and not the place. But whatever it is; ain't that magic, in a universe where the beings had not so long ago started believing that there was none? I spent a few months or maybe years wanting to go here. I sure wanted to have company while, at it. So every time, I'd ask someone to come with me; But they all run through Google and maps and try to take me elsewhere. And then, I ended up in a not so worthy place, in a not so worthy time. But this time that I had company, I decided to not tell them where I would take them. 'Shut up and come, i said'. Is it a Surprise they asked. Just like that and Just about then, we landed in this part of town and had dilation of a time. While we left, I couldn't be more proud to say that the pictures I took, do enough and more justice to the food and drinks that were had. What more can I say? Other than, Magic!!

This place is a proper fine dine restaurant experience. It is not cheap by any means but again if you want to have a good time with your partner, friends and etc I will highly recommend this place. Their food is just very delicious and good. We ordered 3 dishes and all 3 if them were good. By good I don't mean any normal good. I mean it's commensurate to the price you pay. Their service is fast, friendly and feels like you are being fed food in such a lovely and redirected manner. The ambiance is also well thought out. This place is known for it's Gin Tonics and drinks and you can't miss those of you visit this place (unless you don't drink like me). All in very happy that I visited this place. Highly recommended.

Great food. Lovely Ambience. Located in Richmond Town More than a restaurant and bar, Toast & Tonic is a philosophy of creativity, innovation, sustainability, local inspirations and New American dining. It is, in a way, an expression of what made the East Village the quintessential bohemian neighbourhood of the world. Am sure gonna go back again to try out other dishes soon. Nom Nom

The food was really good. I ordered a stuffed chicken breast and it was really well cooked and flavorful. The preparation time was however too long, we almost had to wait 30 minutes after ordering when there were hardly any other customers there.

Visited Toast and Tonic twice while in Bangalore. The atmosphere, the service, the drinks and the food are amazing. Everything we ordered was tasty and fresh. Great vegetarian options. The mushroom and the Greek lamb flatbread were excellent. The shrimp and lotus tempura dishes were fantastic. The chicken wings were some of the best I've ever had. The chicken and fig salad was delish (salad being hard to find in Bangalore). The Italian mouse for dessert was decadent. They also have excellent cocktails and liquor selections. Make a reservation, particularly if going on a weekend. It's popular. Thank you for an amazing dining experience. Will definitely be back.

A small place that serves great food.. Order and service took a bit of time.. We loved all the items we ordered.. Tried one of their gin cocktails.. tasted good.. The menu is slightly changed with less items and the price you see on google is doubled.. Found it expensive for the ambience.. Valet parking available

Toast and Tonic in Bengaluru has been a go to place for many of us ever since it’s inception. The ambiance of the place is very nice and the staff is super friendly as well. Getting a seat here is tough sometimes as more often than not they are full. They offer some of the best Gin cocktails in the city and it is totally worth checking them out. We decided to celebrate our Valentine’s Day here and it sure was a beautiful experience. We had the following while we were at Toast & Tonic. We tried the Beefeater Vanillin which consisted of Gin, Vanilla and Cinnamon Tonic Water, and served with a Pear – Spiced Ice. The type of Gin can be chosen from a wide variety of choices, I decided to go with Beefeater. This drink was very refreshing and was absolutely smooth as well. The second drink we had was a Lemon Grass & Basil Mojito which had a lot of crushed ice but was at the same time a very refreshing drink as well. This is a white rum based cocktail. The quantity was quite less though for the price that we had to pay for it. For starters we had the Hot Potted Prawn & Chorizo, this is not a hot pot dish though as they have mentioned on their menu. The sautéed chorizo goes perfectly well with the prawns in garlic and lemon, served with garlic butter panini. This dish was a surprise to us, as the prawns swept our feet away, the taste was so enriching that we could not stop eating this dish. It is an absolute must to try this out while you are at Toast & Tonic. For mains, we had the Fried Chicken Sandwich. In this context, the sandwich is basically a burger, the buttermilk steeped chicken, with in house burger sauce, bread and butter pickles, and also brioche milk buns were an absolute hit. The Fried Chicken was so soft and not at all chewy making it easy to have the burger, the sauce was mind blowing, and the buns were so fluffy and soft. A truly American delight at Toast & Tonic. The Asian style Spicy Smoked Chicken was our choice for flatbreads. These flatbreads are their take on the concept of pizzas and they truly are very authentic and super tasty. The jalapeno, garlic, chives, and their in house chicken was the perfect combination that one needs on their flatbreads. Not a single piece was overcooked or roasted making it an absolute delightful experience. We finished our time at Toast & Tonic with Karma Sutra which was a Choco based gooey brownie with vanilla ice cream. They have valet parking and the staff are super friendly and they know the menu very well. The ambiance is very nice and spacious. The food they offer is very unique and everyone should try out their dishes. You can find them at 14/1, Wood Street, Ashok Nagar, Richmond Road, Bangalore. Budget Corner Beefeater Vanillin – 685 INR Lemon Grass and Basil Mojito – 535 INR Fried Chicken Sandwich – 540 INR Karma Sutra – 360 INR Asian Style Spicy Smoked Chicken – 555 INR Hot Potted Prawn and Chorizo – 565 INR Average cost for two people would be 3500 – 4000 INR.

A proper fine dining place with good ambience and great hospitality. Everything we tried at Toast & Tonic was delicious, especially the pork carnita and the desserts. The cocktails weren't bad either. Definitely visiting again!

Different food, it would have been 5 stars if oil was less especially in Tempura. Overall one of the better European food in Bangalore

If you are looking for a place to enjoy some finger food, continental, Asian and beverages in a cosy and wooden ambience, you might want to try Toast & Tonic. It offers a range of dishes such as crab bisque, shrimp tempura, flatbreads, mushroom curry and more. The cocktails are also unique and refreshing. The staff is courteous and attentive, and the service is quick and efficient. Toast & Tonic is a great place to enjoy a romantic dinner or a family outing with your loved ones. You will surely love the food and the vibe of this place.

A very pleasant lively ambience, with a hip clientele. Service was very good. We had 2 cocktails, Diablo which was excellent but the Vanilla Ice was not to our liking as it had a flavour we didn’t particularly like. Food was okay, mixed reviews. We liked some but didn’t enjoy others. I think it’s good to go once as it’s unique but we found the place bougie and pricey for the quality they serve.

Wow😍🤤 What a absolute fine restuarant. The place is so beautiful and the decorations are amazing. The staffs are very polite and friendly. The price of dishes and drinks are comparatively lesser than other places. This place is very famous for its gins tonic & drinks. Excellent vibe and ambiance. Great service and good food. Only disappointment was that they did not have as many finger food options as the Toast & Tonic from Mumbai. I hope they include truffle fries in their menu. We ordered the following dishes: - Lotus stem, baby corn and water chestnut tempura – tasted great but was slightly soggy. Would have loved it if it was slightly crispier. - Pesto pasta – cannot find this in their online delivery menu but it was delicious. - Citrus and basil tonic water along with red eye flavored tonic water: both were very refreshing. Considering the ambience is good I may consider visiting again. But would prefer exploring new cafes. Good for a one time visit and experience.

Great ambience and excellent customer service! The speciality in here is their signature Gin based cocktails and for which their food compliments equally. This place also makes a great location for your quite little dates, cozy interiors and lighting makes it more nicer. Place is not so crowded and hence you can enjoy every minute you being there. With all above said things this place turns out to be one my favourite restaurants in Bangalore. A must visit for all!

I can wholeheartedly recommend this establishment to anyone seeking a perfect marriage of delectable cuisine and masterfully crafted gin cocktails. A place I found where they can make great cocktails and amazing food. The mint-basil Mojito was awesome. The server suggested a virgin orange Mojito for my wife which tasted even better (minus the alcohol!) The crab (small plates) is a must try…the wings are good. Ambience is nice

Beautiful place to have a nice little date. A soothing ambience, great hospitality, and surprisingly excellent food. Anything you order will be good, having tried most of the menu I can confidently say you cannot go wrong with any dish, however, the Rebel's beef broth was not a favourite of mine. I just didn't like that enough, but literally every other dish was too good. Shrimp tempura, crabs, boxing chicken, were all too good. The cocktails were really good too, although the Bloody Mary was sub-par. They didn't have it on their menu, but were nice enough to make it for us anyway. Shame it turned out to be underwhelming, but the cocktails that they do serve from their menu is really good. They obviously have beer, but not on tap. Also the staff was just so gracious, as soon as we sat, Bikas identified our table was a little shaky so he sorted that out immediately, was super helpful throughout the night and took good care of us. So props to him and Raju as well. All in all, a really great place to have a date. You cannot go wrong with this place.

Had ordered: 1. tanqueray straight with tonic (when you market yourself as a high-end cocktail bar please atleast give quality tonic. Instead of schwepps try franklin & sons, fevertree, svami, etc. Basics of G&T is all ingredients should be topnotch. Gin is good, the tonic & lime wedges need to improve. Try the big dark green lemons instead of the normal ones) Gondhoraj lemons 2. Herbalist cocktail was good 3. Tempura veggies was excellent 4. Chimichurri potatoes were ok. Chimichurri sauce was not put. Had to point out & ask for it separately Servers were not present near the table. All were discussing at the bar & not paying attention. Had to look back many times to call them. Please justify price of your cocktails with quality ingredients. A high quality G&T can be made very easily at home to.

A true fine dining establishment. It seems pricey, but it is absolutely worth every penny. The food is also really tasty and is famous for its gin and tonic. You will feel at home and well-fed thanks to the staff's lightning-fast and courteous service. For those who enjoy drinking and dining with family and friends, I highly recommend. It's the ideal location for a fantastic eating experience because of the perfect ambiance.

Took a break from Indian cuisine and had a date night dinner with my sister this week @toastandtonic She’s a new mum like me - our babes are only one week apart ! So it was all the more meaningful for us to get this precious time together. @toastandtonic is one of my sisters favourite restaurants in Bangalore and I can totally understand why. Everything about this place is fab - the location, ambience, menu and the cocktails! Think East Village New York vibes, that’s the look and feel they are going for. A European menu that utilises local ingredients with an eclectic gin and tonic menu. In fact they make all their tonics in house. I enjoyed their classic gin cocktail called the Herbalist - an Orange and Basil Tonic served with Coriander and Orange Ice over your choice of gin. I choose to try a local gin @hapusagin that uses foraged Himalayan Juniper and locally sourced botanicals. It is truly delicious! Also tried the Jalapeño Hopper - a heady mix of gin and jalapeño spiced tonic that was fiery yet restrained and elegant at the same time! Yum! We shared three things from the menu - The Chicken Liver Pate, The Soft Eggs and Andouille Sausage and the Soft Shell Crab in Singapore Chilli Sauce. All three dishes were flavourful, beautifully presented and super delicious. My favourite undoubtedly the liver pate. Thanks @toastandtonic for a lovely evening - I can really understand why this is such a loved Bangalore venue.

Food was good. Portions were a bit small for some dishes but that's kind of expected in fine dining. Loved the Carnitas tacos. Other dishes we ordered were the Cheeseburger (juicy and good), Pork belly and a flat bread. Also had G&T cocktails which were nice but nothing memorable. Lighting is very dim.

Went to Toast & Tonic for dinner and drinks on a Friday night. We had a made a prior reservation because we anticipated that it would be crowded. However upon arrival, we noticed that there were still a few tables empty which was nice. The drinks were amazing and paired beautifully with the breads and the mains that we ordered. The ambience is great, dimly lit with candles on every table and is perfect for date night or to catch up with friends. Highly recommend and certainly am visiting again.

We ordered an Ethiopian dish and the mushroom risotto, which were both quite sub standard. Though the chorizo n prawn dish was nice. We did however end up with an upset stomach the next day. We've dinned quite a few times here before, and nothing like this had happened. This time we had re-order our cocktail gin drinks, as they were served flat. They've increased their prices for their drinks which is fine, but they're not making up for it. We also had our waiter take away our plates without asking, infact we were mid conversation and were still eating. We weren't too pleased to pay the service charge for the bar and the food this time, as it was not what it used to be. On a whole, this used to be one of our favourite spots, but it seems to have disappointed us on our last visit. However, we would still visit again just to try the non veg options.

A cozy spot with delectable dishes.. The ordering process and service were a tad slow.. Every item we ordered was a delight.. Decided to sample one of their signature gin cocktails.. it was a flavorful experience. The menu has undergone a slight modification, featuring fewer options, but the prices listed on Google seemed to have doubled.. The cost felt a bit steep considering the ambiance..
