It is such a beautiful place. This place is known as dussehra ghat .Only few people know about this place. You can visit here anytime even on friday when Tajmahal is closed. The most important thing is that there is no ticket to visit this place.Few guides will ask for the money for visiting this place but you don't need to pay money or hire a guide. Alone you can go there by following google map. There is also a beautiful temple of dau ji(krishna's elder brother Balram).

Take a right from East gate and walk for about 5-6 mins and you will reach this point . 🍂 There is nothing special here, just the backside of Taj is visible on the banks of river Yamuna 🧚 🍂 Yamuna is really polluted 🍂 Please don't get confused between Taj view point and Taj yamuna view point 🍂 Ask a local or a guide to reach the destination

Amazing place with a lot of actions around sunset time. You get to see the Taj Mahal at golden hour and it’s beautiful.

Great place to go to watch the Taj during sunset. It is much closer to the Taj than Mehtab Bagh, which takes a lot of time to go to, and is far away, on the other side of the Yamuna. The bank of the Yamuna is extremely polluted though. Full of trash thrown in the river, and a disgusting stench. This makes it a bad place to casually hang out and watch the sunset. However, if you're into photography, then the lighting and angles you can get here during sunset are perfect. Take the road from the East gate of the Taj to get here. It's a short 10-15 minute walk from the Taj's entry gate. There are no signs directing towards this view point, so use Google Maps or look up the directions beforehand if you don't have internet.

Truly it’s one of the seven wonders of the world.. the view is wonderful and captivated you .. it’s an example of incredible engineering from Mughal period.. It has an incredible view during full moon night days where stones glow. Plan to visit it early morning if possible to avoid crowd

Watching the Taj Mahal from the Yamuna River can be a serene and picturesque experience. The view often enhances the beauty of the iconic monument, providing a different perspective. The calm flow of the river and the surroundings contribute to a tranquil atmosphere, making it a memorable sightseeing experience.

I felt like a local coming here to see the Taj Mahal; among monkeys and a cow. I believe the monkeys also love this view. It is a bit off the beaten path. Nevertheless it is worth walking here. This little square with several benches, two pagodas and a large bin for plastic waste is maybe the closest point where you can have a picnic near the Taj Mahal. Enjoy! … and don‘t fight with the monkeys.

You know why it is wonder of the world when you see it. The entire structure is magnificent. The best time to visit would be early morning as soon as the visiting hours start in order to avoid crowds. There is a small entry fee to see the Taj Mahal and an additional entry fee to enter inside the Taj Mahal. It is better to buy both the tickets at the start ticket counter. It is also compulsory to buy foot covers while entering inside. Avoid donating any money inside as it is just a scam. It is a good idea to read about Taj Mahal and its history so that you can relate to whatever you see there. thats why i love this place ummmmmmah.

This ghat is near Eastern gate of Tajmahal and we need to walk for approx 1 km to reach here. Must visit place with amazing views of Tajmahal and Red Fort . There is an ancient temple of lord Hanuman, Shiva and Dauji maharaj. You can do boat ride in Yamuna from this view point and capture beautiful pictures of Dussehra ghat and Tajmahal. Mandir is open in the morning and evening and attending Arti is so peaceful.

It is historical place in India made by Shah Jahan in 15th century. It is expanded on the design of indo-islamic architecture. The interior like flowers carved in marble, incised painting is more attractive. it is one of the wonder of the 7 wonders of the world. Also it is rest on the right Bank of yamuna river. Taj Mahal is see by the 4 different sides and see the difference shed of the architecture. Also the sunset is most beautiful at this place.

Agra Development Authority has developed a perfect point on the bank of river Yamuna near Mehtab Bagh to have a panoramic view of Taj Mahal. Tourists can enjoy various mesmerising views of Taj Mahal from this point from Sunrise to midnight. One can have golden Taj in the morning & evening, milky white Taj in the afternoon and also one can enjoy the celestial beauty of this monument of Love during moonlight too.

(Translated by Google) The distant view of the Taj Mahal was just another of the incredible moments I had. The views on each trip leave an indelible impression on me. They create in me memories that will last a lifetime, and all that I experience is that they transform me into me like never before. Experience the wonder of the world, the Taj Mahal. The Taj Mahal is a monument built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in Agra, Uttar Pradesh and is revered all over the world. Experience this beautiful art, design and architecture too. One of the best spots to click pictures of the Yamuna river with Taj mahal in the backdrop! You get a birds eye view of Mehtab bagh and Agra fort on the other side of the river. The river looks beautiful during sunrise and sunset!

A good view of the Taj Mahal, for free! Although we couldn't get a boat to see it from the river, as the bank was fenced off, it was still worth the short walk.

Shah Burj is the Double view point for Taj & Yamuna River! octagonal tower situated near Yamuna where you can feel the nature and dream the sketch of Mughal Empire! Great architectural view along with Mirrors in ceiling. The glorious Taj Mahal can now be seen by the tourists under the moonlight and the early hours of the dawn from a different view point. The Taj view point has been recently opened to give a different view of the Taj from the banks of Yamuna River.

Nice place to spend your evening with a sunset view of taj and Agra fort. But the place is not clean the local bodies should check this and should clean this place. This can be a different revenue source as well if the place a ticket for 10-20Rs. Anyone can afford this as it’s a very good point to see the sunset and taj with Yamuna river. You can do boating too here it will cost you around 100-200 Rs per person.

I'm happy I explored the east side outskirts of Taj Mahal. I had unforgettable experiences. I decided to visit during sunrise and you'll have a peaceful ambiance of the Yamuna River. Taking a boat for foreigners is no longer allowed. To get to the river near Taj Mahal is already forbidden and police are strict about it. I also had a great opportunity to experience the Akhada gym. I was just looking at the locals doing their training in the most practical way, and they asked me to come inside and they showed me how they train. It's my most unforgettable training so far. I still remember the first time I laid eyes on the Taj Mahal. The truth is, I found myself in Agra for the sole purpose of spotting it, yet, I was reluctantly skeptical. Could it really be that magnificent, or is it just another tourist trap? I’m sure I’m not alone on this, and that many others share the same initial sentiment. However, let me tell you that from that first moment I saw that white marble dome from the riverbank view point, I was speechless. It’s difficult to describe the beauty of the Taj Mahal, especially for travelers like me, who usually hang out at waterfalls or in the mountains rather than chasing views of a building. So, I better leave it to the literary experts, quoting the mausoleum’s creator Shah Jahan: “The Taj Mahal’s beauty makes the sun and the moon shed tears from their eyes.” So, I set out to find the best Taj Mahal view point locations and spots to see it in Agra. After a bit of research and by the help of some local experts, I was able to find and photograph these: the 7 Best Taj Mahal Viewpoint Locations in Agra.

Impressive architecture and ostentation! All made in marble and precious stones! The luxury and wealth of this. Amara mortuary is something that makes the heart stop! The flow of people is also important! The Taj is in the city of Agra which is quite distant from New Delhi, but India is not there on the corner so go visit it because it is beautiful and worth the trip for many hours to the place!
