Awesome Home stay in Shillong. This is located in Risa Colony, Shillong. Any cab/tourist driver will know this place. The Home stay offers breakfast, lunch and dinner options. I tried their home style khasi chicken curry with rice. Excellent food I will say and very reasonable prices. This place has comfortable beds, water heater, and a few other basic amenities. The manager is humble and helpful. A lot of Shillong's famous pubs, cafes or restaurants are at a walkable distance from here. I shared this room with another person, enough room for 2. I am not sure if they can squeeze in 3 people in these rooms. All in all great place in Shillong. Do consider this as an option when you plan your trip to Shillong. PLUS, this is one of the cheapest options around Shillong (atleast for the kind of service they provide).

We had booked it for a week almost for work from home stay kind at Shillong. November month it was n very cold, room heaters were provided, breakfast was complimentary but parathas n same sabji 😆 we stayed 5 N 4 D. Ebor the host was hospitable. Last day it was late for us to return from dinner n he picked us back to home stay since there wouldn't be much taxis late in night. He suggested us many good restaurants for dinner, dejavu restaurant we loved n so went there twice. Must try recipes. Home stay was located in such a calm area, peaceful n felt like home as during weekdays no other guests were there few days. Bamboo furniture n wooden look, nice locality, we had made few friends with cook aunty, owner lady (Ebor's wife) , helper lady, bike rent owner lady for everyday use. Police bazar is near by for shopping, Shillong famous pork was tried... Phunga restaurant veg thali was tried, all tasted yummm. Ri Saw Kun home stay... For pleasant stay it's best... We loved it...

The nicest homestay I've seen till date! It is a cozy bungalow with spacious rooms and bathrooms that come with all amenities including a heater. Our host Ebor was very welcoming. He ensured that the stay was pleasant and all the meals requested by us were made available on time. Location- It is in Shillong's Risa Colony. Walking all the way down to the city centre will take time so a vehicle is required. But the upside is that it is away from all the hustle and bustle and is amidst lush greenery. Food- We pre-ordered chicken curry, local and north Indian style with rice and dal. The food was comforting and homely! All in all, this place is value for money and perfect for a long and relaxing stay. Would love to revisit someday!

It was a home away from home. Beautifully perched atop a hill, this cute cottage with its old world charm, great service and extremely considerate hosts gave us a uniquely calm vacation far from the madding crowd. Would highly recommend it to anyone wanting a quiet and very comfortable getaway.

A great place for Staycation among the Pine trees . We had booked the placed to work at Shillong. WiFi available. Breakfast could have been better. Its a bit far from city, its good if you have your own vehicle, you wont get taxis there. Overall a great stay. We had rented a Two wheeler for our daily commute and sightseeing.

Keeping Homestay mindset, this is really Amazing and Beautiful Homestay. Mr. Ebor and his family with their team are caring for Guests. Food what they make is tasty and customised per request. Most importantly, my kids are excited and cheerful because of cute kids room. We are just loving it. 🙂

Such a beautiful homestay and the loveliest hosts: Ebor and Elaine. They made our stay so enjoyable! The rooms are excellent with all the facilities from WiFi to breakfast, and surrounded by greenery to boot! A home away from home. Definitely recommend!

The place is serene and clam with long trees all around. The host provides complimentary breakfast with Sohpyrshong juice. Awesome place to chill with family and friends.

Nice place of stay. Owner Mr. Ebor is a nice person. They provided us eith extra blankets on demand. Breakfast was not good. In room tea coffee facility includes tea bag nd sugar pouches. No milk or coffee sachets. Overall nice experience

Beautiful property, cozy, warm and indeed a homely feel in Ri Sawkun Homestay. Appreciate the fact that they support local businesses by utilising and using local products from soaps, tea, etc., by local entrepreneurs of Meghalaya to cater the needs of guests. The service is really good and so is the host. Keep it up!

It's a wonderful homestay situated amidst pine woods. The host Mr Ebor is a wonderful person. The maid Ms Rebecca is so generous and she keeps you feel at home and takes care of everything you need. Surely recommend this property,👍

Ri saw kun is just home once you've spent a day there. I would go back to Shillong just to stay at this homestay. Big shout out to Ebor, Ethaniel and Rebecca for treating us like one of them. Excellent rooms big enough to fit 3 people, clean washrooms and simple heart warming khasi food. They sure did go out of their way to make us miss the homestay☺️

The best ever homestay to be very honest! Everything was so on point! From rooms to hot water! The host were very homely and the service was very warm! If I ever visit Shillong again then this will be in my bucket list!
