They have a great collection of beautiful clay items. I ordered human models online. The shop owners shared the images of the items and their prices over WhatsApp (Refer to the contact number mentioned in the address). And final selection was made over WhatsApp and call. All the items are very well made and reasonably priced. The packaging charges might seem a little on the higher side but certainly worth it. The items were very well packaged in individual cardboard boxes and covered in a strong plywood box filled with natural filling materials such as wood-chips and hay to provide safety from shocks during transit. They provide multiple shipping options such as courier and India post. I would highly recommend to order in store and try online option as well.

Nice souvenir shop for buying Clay works of Krishnanagar. This shop was founded by Late Kartik Chandra Paul who is a famous clay sculptor from Ghurni (Krishnanagar). Their clay sculptures are sold worldwide. Infact a 12 ft bronze statue of Mahatma Gandhi made by Sculptor Gautam Paul (son of Kartik Chandra Paul) was being installed in Washington DC on September 2000.

Ghurni is famous all over the world for Sculptors who do fine art work on tall statues. Not just Krishnanagar Clay Works but every shop around is owned by an award winning artist! Almost all of them Pal / Paul families. You can see statues made here for all around the world all in one place. I guess these were used for making the die mould for casting the final metal statue.

Great shopping experience. Beautiful, very intricate and delicate work. Mesmerized by how thoughtfully done and crafted. Place stands tall over couple of decades and houses historical artifacts like a letter by Rabindranath Tagore to Late KC Paul and many more. A must see place if you are visiting Krishnangar.

A fine display of the culture of Krishnanagar and India. The work place of world famous sculptor Late Kartick Chandra Pal and his son Gautam Pal. Best clay works can be bought from this place in reasonable price.
