One of the most beautiful place I have ever been💖. Everytime I see this lake👀, it feels like first time The fresh and kinda cold air near Lake and those breath taking view at the evening when the sun⛅ dies the who sky in red and other shades at evening the lake looks beautiful reflecting the whole view in it self✨ . Weather is very unpredictable too which just adds to it's beauty. Dark cloud on one side while bright sun on other(not exaturating I have seen it sometimes) The boating experience in quiet good too but a Lil expensive but worth it at some angles you can see whole nainital reflecting in that beautiful lake 🌟 Also the lengths people go through just to get a picture in front of Lake speaks for itself . I mean when u say u went to nainital to ur friends the lake is the first thing that comes to mind. Although nainital is nainital but it has way more points in my book than Massorie(another popular tourist spot in Uttarakhand). That place is literally nainital without lake🌷. Overall concluding I love nainital❤️ ,I have been there uncountable times (lived there too)

Naini Lake is a kidney-shaped lake surrounded by picturesque hills. It is believed to be one of the emerald green eyes of the Hindu goddess Parvati, and the word "Naini" itself means "eye" in Hindi. The lake offers a serene and tranquil atmosphere, making it a popular destination for tourists and locals alike. Visitors to Naini Lake can enjoy a variety of activities. Boating is a popular option, with rowing boats, paddleboats, and yachts available for rent. It's a delightful experience to leisurely row or paddle across the lake, taking in the surrounding beauty of the hills and the reflection of the colorful buildings in the water.

This natural freshwater lake beauty is charming and many world's prominent writers explained its beauty in words of their poems. Inspiring Naini Lake has also attracted many writers and creative personalities towards it. Nainital is also named after Naini Lake which covers a perimeter of 2 miles with a depth from 28 metres to 6 metres. Still water of Naini Lake makes visitors to fall in love with its alluring beauty. This lake was found long back in 1839 by P.Baron a British businessman who came across this lake on a hunting expedition.Naini Lake topology has two parts namely Mallital and Tallital. Northern part is called as Mallital while Southern part known as Tallital. Nainital visit can't be complete without a boat ride in the lake. Visitors love to explore scintillating lake on boat provided by Nainital boat club. Tourist finds ample opportunity for shopping near Nainital Lake on famous Mall Road.

It is believed that the Naini Lake is one of the 51 Shakti Peeths, based on the story of the death of the goddess Sati. Out of grief and sorrow, Shiva carried Sati's body, reminiscing about their moments as a couple, and roamed around the universe with it. Vishnu had cut her body into 52 body parts, using his Sudarshana Chakra, which fell on Earth to become sacred sites where all the people can pay homage to the Goddess. The spot where Sati's right eye (or Nain) fell, came to be called Nain-tal or lake of the eye. The goddess Shakti is worshiped at the Naina Devi Temple, known by locals as Naini Mata Temple on the north shore of the present day lake. Boat ride in the lake is a must do.. Hills on three side what a spectacular view

Ever dreamt of an almost infinite water body surrounded by lush green mountains, pleasantly chilly breeze, chirping birds, colorful boats, mixed flora and orange-colored common carp fish looking at you from beneath the water? You must have been standing at the Naini Lake in your dream. Snuggled amidst the beautiful Kumaon town of Nainital, the Naini lake is nothing less than fresh out of dreams. The crescent-shaped freshwater lake is a popular tourist destination throughout the year. The lake is surrounded by snowy peaks at the north, Tiffin point at the south-west and Naini peak (after which the town and the lake are named) at the North-west. The destination is an all time favorite for families, friends, honeymooners and among those on one-day tours. It offers you a splendid experience of enjoying its beauty while having a stroll across its boundary, boating in the shimmering waters, and quacking with the joyous ducks.

Naini Lake surrounded by mountains is a famous and beautiful lake of Nainital. The depth of this lake is about 200 to 400 feet at some places. You can enjoy boating in this lake whose fare is ₹ 160 per person. There are many good hotels and restaurants around the lake where you can stay and eat.

Naini Lake offers two main options for boat rides: you can either opt for a paddle boat (in which case you go on your own) or a rowboat (in which case a boatman takes you out). The base price is Rs 210 per half hour (for a four-seater boat) or Rs 160 per half hour (for a two-seater boat). This duration is enough to see about half of the lake, from the Mall Road side bank to the opposite bank. If you pay for an hour, you can opt to go all the way to the Naina Devi Temple, at the Mallital end of the lake. We went for a half-hour rowboat ride, and found that this was enough to have an experience of the lake.

An absolutely amazing lake with lots of fish near the edges. The government has even established oxygen pumps in the lake to sustain the fishes. Absolutely fishing is banned. The lake would definitely make you mesmerize in it's beauty, whether you watch from the side, top, at morning, evening or night, during summer, monsoon or winters, the beauty is sustained. Boating facilities are too provided. A must visit place. Walk on the mall road besides the lake, you will get one of the best feelings. At evening the sunshine from the mountain on side to the lake makes it so beautiful that you can't remove your eyes from it. At night, walk or take a sit on the nearby park, sing a song, feel the beauty.
