Very delicious Biryanis there have , Place clean but Crowded. Reasonable prices If you go there try this. I suggest this place.

Always a regular customer to this branch, love the mutton biryani and Grilled chicken of ss,First floor sitting arrangements are good and very neet, but always crowded after 1.30, if you don't want to wait go before 1o'clock Service people are good, everytime they serve on time.. First time to this place for dine in and thought only briyani is available all these days. Surprise they have wide variety and grilled Chicken was too spicy n taste wise good. Service is good. Quantity of food also huge and two person can eat. Mutton chukka not good and seems frozen meat and bad smell. This to correct by restaurant sure. Go for it once

Went on a Thursday at around 2pm. All tables were filled and only a few Tamil speaking folk were around who were able to understand what we asked for and what we wanted. We ordered three mutton biryanis which had an endless bowl of rice and only a few pieces of mutton. The last bowl had only ribs and no meat on the ribs unfortunately. We asked for more pieces and the Hindi speaking server couldn't understand what we asked. The taste was brilliant, no doubt, but the service needs to be improved. When in Chennai, educate the staff of Tamil words and what's needed! One can't bring coke when asked for brinjal gravy! Would have given 5 for sure if the taste was better and the service was better.

We visited there for dinner and ordered mutton biryani and grill chicken. Both taste good and mutton biriyani is more enough for a person. Quantity and quality of biriyani is good. Service is good. Only thing I felt was, grill chicken is not satisfied. Just over cooked i think. Otherwise taste of grill chicken is good. Ambience is nice and service also good.

SS Hyderabad Biriyani We have visited SS Hyderabad Biriyani yesterday with my friends. We have ordered 2 chicken Biriyani and one full Grill chicken. The quality and quantity of Biriyani is very high. If you order 2 chicken Biriyani then it will more than enough for 4 members to have their lunch with starters. Price details: Biriyani - 240 *2 = 480 Grill chicken = 410 (Full) The taste of grill chicken was not upto the standards. It was not cooked properly. It was really not good. But the restaurant was fully packed with peoples and very engaged. The ambience was very good and the service was also very nice 👌 Can visit again with friends and family to enjoy food and drinks.

SS Hyderabad is my favourite place and I love their briyani very much . We visited for my frnd brtday treat we ordered briyani and chicken rice briyani is very delicious and wow . But I was diss appointment on fried rice need to focus on other dishes other than that quantity and services everything is fine.

On previous visits, I had a fantastic experience with the Chicken Biryani and Mutton Biryani, making SS Hyderabad one of my favorite spots in Chennai for biryanis. However, during my last visit, I opted for the Prawn Biryani, and unfortunately, I had a rather disappointing experience. The dish was overly oily, the rice seemed undercooked, and the prawns lacked the expected taste and quality. One of the best biriyanis I ever had. Excellent taste and quantity. 2 to 3 persons can share one Biriyani. Bread halwa is yummy. It’s Pakka value for money and must try. Non veg starters are equally good. Service is fine. This branch is medium sized, they have only few tables outside and inside AC room. It’s located on the congested main road, so car parking is a problem. I had to park in the nearby street and walk. Biriyani is recommended !!

I have heard about the taste and quantity of the Biriyani they give. Parking was a trouble, we parked at a residential street few metres away from the hotel. The restaurant was so crowded and felt little unhealthy. We ordered a chicken biriyani and naan and pepper chicken. Biriyani we got in a hot box, if its a open vessel then it's ok, it came in a hot box which was weird, the Biriyani quantity was too much, didn't expect that much quantity but the Biriyani which we got was like yesterday's reheated Biriyani, it was disappointing. My friend liked the brinjal for the Biriyani and I liked the sweet with the Biriyani, but biriyani taste was 👎🏻, but if you adjust it could be enough for 4 people max to complete easily. Even the naan wasn't looking that great, a average taste and was undercooked too. Don't over order food and waste it.

Pathetic Chicken/ Mutton Biryani and it's not worth a Tomato rice or a Sambar rice. The meat is also not cooked well. Just the brand says SS Hyderabad Biryani but it's a normal Masala rice.

Biriyani was awesome. We bought the small bucket. The quantity was more and the pieces were cooked evenly. Brinjal gravy was so tasty. Best to buy and eat in your place

The quantity of food is reduced when compared to the previous visit. We always prefer SS Briyani restaurant for takeaways and dining. The taste is excellent and maintaining the same taste is always good.

I was in the queue in the meantime in Tamil they said that Chicken Briyani stock is finished. I met the owner and asked him, he asked me a few questions like where I am from and a few more like this and on behalf of me he requested One Swiggy Delivery Boy to handover his parcel to me as the next Biryani coupe was about to take 15 - 20 minutes. So nice of him. Now about the Taste. One must visit if you are a Biryani and Tandoori lovers. Awesome test, Nice packing as well...
