Located in one of the prime locations, close to St Agnes, they have been able to maintain the same standard over the years. Only issue sometimes would be parking. Would surely recommend.

This place has clearly lost its footing. Used to get good puffs but this time it disappointed me greatly. The egg puff tasted bad and found it difficult to finish. I didn't like the service either, the cashier lady is inattentive and doesn't really care much for the customers. I was hugely disappointed.

MAI'S Lonche Fish pickle available at Vas Bakery is just mouth watering. The spice , The taste , The aroma everything is perfect for a Fish Meal. I tried both Prawns and Mackerel Fish pickle of Brand MAI'S Lonche it was amazing. If anyone is looking for a Fish pickle kindly try this out.

The OG place for puffs in mangalore. Been visiting the place for close to 30 years now, back from the days when it was located in Balmatta. A bite of the puff takes you back in time. It is to the credit of this place and to the fact that they have been serving quality food for mangaloreans to savour since those days. Ofcourse there have been times over these 30 years where I have faced some quality issues with their food but the management responds promptly to fix any shortcomings.

Recenty I bought some products from this bakery like buns, puffs, pickle etc. All their products were good but the one which I liked the most was the pickle. I tried this brand MAI's Lonche. Their mackerel pickle was awesome. The taste was superb and I almost finished the whole bottle in 2 days. Will soon try their other pickle also.

Definitely a place in Mangalore to get your yummy bites. I would highly recommend as I got my deliveries even when the bakery was closed. Thank you Len. Highly Recommend if you want items as per your taste buds.

We were e route to our native after a short vacation and thought of getting some traditional sweets and found this shop in google with high rating.we bought rum cake ,biscuits and some other sweets but all of them are not up to the expectations.I will just give below average rating to this shop.Sorry to say Google rating is misleading.

5 breads in a packet. Bought yesterday (4th Feb) from you (Not Vas and Sons - Attached Timeline SS) Asked whether it was Fresh to which the answer was positive. Only to find every bread had fungus on it. 5 pics of 5 breads. I would suggest, stop selling stale products or freely replace them if possible. Going through the reviews, None of your responses favour that. Hence my post here.
