The Stargate Observatory offers an immersive celestial experience, thanks to their compact yet powerful telescope and professional guides who present a captivating tour around the universe. The lower floor has an area devoted to a museum exhibit and a store selling exclusive astronomical goodies. On the first floor, there is a café named Bros Café. The location for the stargazing setup is on the second floor. We had chosen The Gold Show, which featured, among other things, constellation forms, the moon, 2 nebulae, 1 galaxy, Saturn, and Jupiter. It lasted for one hour. We were given excellent guidance by our guide during the show. They have a GPS-coordinated telescope, which provides flawless celestial body positioning for an incredible viewing experience. This location is a stargazer's paradise due to the minimal pollution. Conclusion: The show, museum, store all were top-notch, delivering an enjoyable experience. The hospitality I experienced was exceptional. I had made advance reservations for the show and would advise others to do the same. The price for the show is absolutely justified. Go for it!

This observatory is private run. So you have to spend a good amount for a single show. However, it gives a good experience, specifically for the kids. The evening show timings are from 8:00pm onwards. One hour show costs ₹500/- from 8 to 9pm, 9 to 10pm, 10 to 11 pm and 11 to 12am. (You can pay ₹500 to book a slot) Early morning show starts from 3:30am to 4am.This slot charges₹700/- . For morning slots are from 8:00am to 11 am. During morning you can see sun using filters, and pin hole cameras. During night time, under ₹500 slot they will show you Stars, Constellation, Milky Way, Nebula, Moon; and under ₹700 slot Saturn rings, Saturn moon, Jupiter and Jupiter moon as well. They also have some costly and effective binoculars and telescopes for the visitors. There is Space and Astronomy museum also for the visitors. For this the charges are ₹250/- per person. At a cost of ₹250, you can engage your child in rocket making and launching.

The Starscape Observatory is located just about 200 mtrs down the road from Anasakti Ashram. They have one good telescope for regular astronomical use. It is good enough to see the craters clearly in Moon and Saturn with its ring and one satelite of it. The starguide explained nicely and we could see a star cluster, various stars of constellations etc. The overall experience is nice, we loved it. It is recommended to call ahead and book a slot. Night slots are better than evening slot at 7 pm because you can see Jupiter also at night.

Good museum types but observatory we enjoyed more at Aries nainital. There they enjoyed sky galaxies, how to decide direction much better. Here it was in so hurry. Speaker was so fast. Lens was also good in nainital. If you want to see satellites and moon too please go at 6 pm show

Loved it. Ticket cost 500 per person, kids free. Best to visit when the sky is clear. They have gadgets and other accessories you can buy. Small museum with 3d images of important space missions. Ofcourse the highlight is the observatory, the team is very passionate and allows you to spend enough time to enjoy the star gazing. Also, educates one and explain about planets, moons and stars in detail.

Loved the experience- both in terms of the explanations, views and the service. Great and courteous staff. Was amazed by the professionalism and the equipment, hadn't expected it in such a small town, but it was one of the best experiences I've ever had. Thank you Starscapes team and hope to have a few more of these experiences

We attended the night show. Got to see Saturn, Jupiter and Ring Nebula along with Andromeda galaxy. The staff explained the concepts very well and then guided us through the telescope. There is also a paper rocket making workshop for kids along with Solar and Himalayan range observation through telescope. A great experience and insight into space, not just for kids but adults too. A must visit place at Kausani.

It was a beautiful experience to watch stars and planets like Jupiter and Saturn. The other day in the morning we also watched the famous peaks like Nandaghunti and Trishul, also the Sun. Rajesh and Rohan were the perfect guide and gave us all the information for the same. It is very mesmerizing and one must visit Startscapes Observatory if you are in Kausani. Ps: They also have this observatory in some other cities too.

If anyone visiting kausani...do visit this place. An amazing and enthusiastic small scientific wonderland created by Local Enthusiast Mr. Puran Pandey supported by a professional scientist Mr. Amitabh Pandey. This keeps an astronomical gallery as well as a very highly professional Telescope with all sorts of sophisticated photography accessories inside an all removable and convertible rooftop to gaze deeper into the skies for the forlorn planets, stars, galaxies and nebula. This is on the serene Himalayan mountains with no Light Pollution to make the gaze more shining. Must visit place.

This was my observatory experience, and one I will remember for a very long time. They explained the basics of star gazing very well before the actual experience and that's something which can help you spot the directions, the basic constellation and planets fairly from anywhere if you have a clear sky. In the end we saw a star with a black hole in it and that picture will remain in my mind forever. It's a must visit if you visit kausani and you can also visit the place to take a closer look at the mountain range.

Firstly, I want to thank you for opening this observatory in my cute little home town, I wish it was their when I was a kid. It was such a beautiful experience observing the planets and stars. The staff is so amazing. The session was amazing, they answered all our questions very patiently. Explained everything to detail. Me and my siblings had a great experience would love to visit again.

It was an amazing experience. Got to see several things in the sky. My favourite one has to be the cluster and nebula. Everything was explained to us very nicely by the guides who were present with us. Highly recommended to anyone who is in Kausani.

The experience was really pathetic . Leaving me feeling unhappy from the service as it was not worth the price . visual presentation was a waste of time and money. The presenter's language was not understandable . don't visit if u don't want to waste your time and money .and the setup was very old version nothing new and exciting was there .instead of real demonstration of planets they have putted prints and for information a google scanner was there .

The person incharge of the show is very informative but the telescope is really small so we could only see the moon clearly. Other planetary objects were pretty small to see.

If you are a space lover this place is perfect for you and if you are not after visiting here you will be one of them. First the kausani is place and this observatory made it more perfect. And the boy who is explaining about the stars and planets is very knowledgeable and they saw everything available in space at a time with explanation and direction. What a great experience. I saw moons creator nebula Andromeda jupit Jupiter and it's moon mars pole star. Just go and feel new experience of your life.

We were lucky to catch one evening without clouds to see the sky! I thought my kid would be happy to see some planets and stars but I was even more excited, first time in my life I see Saturn so close with its rings, Jupiter with the moons, Milky Way, Nebula and constellations. And it was so interesting to listen about all these space phenomena, I was impressed by the amount of knowledge the team has. And my daughter was so glad to watch through telescope and to get laser at the end. Thank you the team, thank you the owner, it was really good!

The most amazing place for star gazing. They have a very good facility. The whole tour of naked eye observation is worth every penny. Specially when it comes to people who are totally new to this field. The mesmerizing view of the celestial bodies with the scope is totally worth it.

Amazing experience. Pointing stars with laser light and then watching them with telescope feels very good. Try for late night show, for a more calm environment. Staff is very friendly, attentive and guides everyone properly even in large groups.
